"This job was a head scratcher. I had replaced my pool deck with stamped and colored concrete about 5 years ago and did not want to tear into it. Two other companies" quoted me nearly double and said they had to remove part of the deck to replace the pool's return lines.
came up with a way to tunnel under the deck with a new line without harming it. Brilliant! While they were working on the pool I decided to replace the broken 500 watt pool light with a 45 watt
. Easy peasy. When finished, the yard was put back to it original condition. Didn't even look like anyone had just trenched through it. It's true that
will offer suggestions openly. I could have used someone else but why? Great guy. Great company.

My order of preference - first choice a jacuzzi/hot tub repairman (from a jacuzzi/hot tub/sauna distributor), second choice a plumber (many do not work on hot tubs, jacuzzi's and sauna because they cnanot afford to stock parts). An electrician might be able to fix it if it is a connection problem, but such motors are seldom repaired if the problem is internal, just replaced - which would be a jacuzzi repairman/plumber type job.

You will have to find out what your model costs new - looks like they run from about $400 to 1700 depending on size. IF yours is at the lower end, might be just as cheap to replace it, with parts and labor. If not low end, then repair probably works. Typical pricing of components that might have gone out - switch $80, timer/control unit $130, heating element $100 (probably most likely to have failed) - so if only one of these went out, figuring $100-200 labor, probably cheaper to fix it. I would contact your dealer for a better idea.

BTW - here is a Saunatec instruction on maintenance on the heating element and rocks, failure to follow can shorten heating element life, if that is what went out (and probably the simplest to replace) -

I'm sorry to say there aren't many of us on here with adequate experience working on pools, myself included.  My suggestion would be to contact a few local companies specializing in pool renovation and have them give their recommendations and bids for the work, breaking down order of operations so you know what to expect at which stages.  Check Angie's List for referrals in your area and cross check those with the BBB for any unresolved complaints.

Pool Cleaning reviews in Yuma

The sides of my fiberglass swimming pool were bowing in. Also, a botched leak repair by another provider had left the main drain on the bottom of the pool inoperative, which meant that the only way I could get rid of fine grit on the bottom was to vacuum it up.

and his crew came in, assessed the situation, and brought the unexpected good news that they could give me my main drain back in the same operation as straightening the pool sides. This is a messy job, requiring making cutouts into the fiberglass pool sides, straightening and bracing the sides, installing a new main drain, replacing the cutouts, putting on a new fiberglass surface, and finally adding new pool tile and patio surface. The result is gorgeous, and every bit of construction debris was cleaned up at the finish.

explained each step of what was being done as we went along. They have a very wide selection of tiles and pool and patio colors. Everyone who showed up on site, from

on down, was courteous and professional. Obviously, I hope never to encounter this particular big repair again, but if something like a new leak ever crops up, I'd call
Yuma Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
again in a heartbeat.

They were excellent. I had been searching for a company to repair my pond and fountain, as well as do a quarterly cleaning. They did a great job. I highly recommend them.

The end product was fine. My main complaint is the time it took to do the job. When we contracted for the work, next to quality, the most important consideration was timing. I had guests with small children coming and wanted the job done by the time they arrived. The company had the option to begin after my guests left. Not only did I want the pool in use for them, I didn't want a death pit in the back yard. The contract was signed 7 weeks before the desired completion date. I was ASSURED that completion by the date desired would be no problem. Let's all raise our hands if we can guess what happened. My guests were here for an entire month and we began putting water back in the pool on the day they left. Nothing like spending a month trying to keep a two-year-old from taking a header into an empty, ten foot deep pool! In addition the workers were very sloppy. The person who took the off tile off merrily stepped on and over my Polaris which had been left on the bottom of the pool. I had to point this out and ask him to take it out, but my then the damage was done and they ultimately had to replace it. They also did the same with the light fixture in the deep end and later (after I lost over a foot of water overnight) came to repair the leak. Yes, let's fill the pool twice in a drought. Sloppy, sloppy and still a slight leak somewhere.

I scheduled an appointment in advance so I called closer to my appointment date and was unable to reach them. When I finally received a return call, I had already hired someone else.

Have a somewhat unique separate spa and pool system heated by the same heater. Took a while to get complete, but the

I have used
Yuma Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
twice now and both times he has given me excellent service. It may take him a couple of days to get there, but only because he is so busy. I have an older spa, but he knew exactly how it worked and what to look for when diagnosing my problem. He discovered a leak in one of my spa jets and I made an appointment for him to come back and repair it. He completed the work promptly and treated me fairly. He has a vast knowledge of various spas and I have sought out his advice now that I'm looking to upgrade to a newer spa. If you want good, reliable service at a reasonable price, give
Yuma Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
a call. I know this is a long overdue evaluation, but he really does great work.
