"I will have to say that dealing with
and
was such an enjoyable experience. I was not expecting anything spectacular" with any company that I was going to hire to replace my investment houses gutters. The first few times I spoke with
, I was very impressed. She is a sweetheart and professional as well. They not only had the best prices out of 4 total companies I searched, but it was by a few hundred dollars. They use quality products, and what amazed me the most was the attention to detail that they left with the smallest of things. I want to say a personal thank you to
and
. You both were awesome! I wish you offered additional services as I would find a way to hire you for those as well. Thank you again and I will recommend you to my friends and family. If you are looking for a company that will make sure the job is done right, and correct anything that goes wrong, then
I am confident wont disappoint.

"The original contract was signed in
2014. The job, which should have taken 2 weeks maximum was completed January 22, 2015. Everything started" out ok. The owner of the company,
, came out to the construction site where we discussed my ideas for siding and I showed him some samples. I told him there was a house in the neighborhood which was using the exact material that I wanted to use. We went over to take a look and I was very impressed when he knew exactly what the material was and where to get it. At that point I felt very confident in hiring his company to order and install the siding. That's where things changed. In our project it was important to have things progress in a certain way in order to accomplish necessary tasks. In the case of the siding, they wanted to use the scaffolding that we were using to stucco the building. But we had a deadline that required us to take the scaffolding down to allow other work to continue. We gave M & M the dates we needed to have them complete their work in order to meet other commitments. It was almost impossible to get updates as to when the siding material would arrive at their yard so we could not get a firm date or at least a general schedule. I asked
if he could send his crew out to install a required underlayment before the siding arrived to save time. His crew did show up and told me it would take 3 days to do this install. On the 2nd day they told me that they would come back the next day to finish. They NEVER SHOWED UP/ Along these lines, I had 3 appointments with
to come out to check on the project and verify the measurements for the siding order. One appointment he was supposed to meet with me. The other 2 he was supposed to meet with my foreman. He never showed for any of these meetings. When they final got delivery of the siding and started the install, after about 3 or 4 days they actually ran out of material and could not finish the job. It took another month for the new siding to arrive. When they started the initial install they had 3 installers working but soon there was only one, doing a job that needed a minimum of 2 to have everything be installed correctly. Not only was there one installer, but his attitude was "I could't care less" and the quality of the work was so poor that we had to have him come back in numerous occasions to fix things that demonstrated extremely poor craftsmanship. We had the original house a few blocks away as a reference and the quality of their installation was so far superior to ours that we knew that ours could be done in the same way. Of course they used a different installation company. During all this I was trying to communicate with
via email, text, and phone. Although he did occasionally respond he never kept us in the loop so we never really knew when someone would show up to work. The single installer would show up un announced and leave without ever checking with the foreman to ok his work. Finally, when I got the final invoice for the job, I told their office that until the job was approved by our foreman AND a rep from their company, I would not make the final payment. On
21, 2015 I sent an email to their office staff and to
, the owner, saying that I was ready to make the final payment if they would simply send out their installer to make final tweaks and use touch up paint which I had order several months before, but had only been order within the last few weeks. Upon received that email,
, responded by saying that the installer had come out a few days before so what was the problem. The problem was he came and went like a ghost, did not confer with anyone and we had know idea that he had been there. This scenario was typical of the lack of communication from this company. I have attached some images showing samples of the poor craftsmanship and installation for this $25,000 job. I think they speak for themselves. My advice: Only hire this company at your own risk.

Gutter Repair & Replacement

Your gutters’ downspouts perform a critical task in keeping your home dry. So why aren't they working? One highly rated provider shares four possible reasons.

Two notes #1 20 feet is going to cost you more per foot that 100 feet.  #2 All prices are relative to Your market ie Omaha is less expensive than St Lious.  Here expect to pay on the 100 foot job $5 to $6 per foot of gutter (5" aluminum) plus the $4 to $5 a foot for the downspouts and $15 to $20 for soffit and facsia covering ie vinyl soffit panels and painted or vinyl clad aluminum covering the fascia.  In the trade a soffit & fascia job.

Short answer: It's up to you. Many home remodeling contractors, including exterior remodelers, don't expect a tip since they've already provided a set price within the contract, but if you really feel that they've gone above and beyond, you may feel obliged to tip them. Angie herself answered a very simliar question in a recent column: Should I tip my remodeling contractor?
?

Not knowing what type of eaves (the lower edge of the roof) you had before the new soffits were intalled I have to guess what might have happened. If you had closed eves (no soffits, just rafter tails with blocking between) before as was done on some older homes it is possible they removed or drilled holes through to the attic. When this was done there should have been a baffle installed to direct the air flow up and over the insulation. This would only be possible for the soffit installer to do if the wood blocking was removed and not just had holes drilled in it. If the insulation contractor did not go all the way to the exterior wall that could very well be the cause or it he did not make sure the insulation was pushed down to make contact with the ceiling material. If the house was never cold before I would bet the problem is at the eaves. You should call the insulation company for an answer.

The ice build-up in the gutter should not, provided they are properly attached and solid, rip out the gutter.

When you get snow slides and large chunks of frozen precip that let go and slide down the roof with velocity, those are what tear off the gutters and create damage.

If you are concerned about the snow load, a snow rake and/or a proper roofer can remove some of the accumulated snow.

Some ice damming is unavoidable in the correct conditions but I would urge you to look into proper ventilation of the roof and air sealing and insulation.  This will reduce your home's inclination to form these ice dams in the future.

It was a great experience.

Sander showed up on time and quoted me last year to replace the gutters. Unfortunately we had to delay the work being completed until now due to our AC having to be replaced unexpectedly. So I called
Prescott Valley Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
on Tuesday and he said he would still honor the quote. Then on Wednesday
Prescott Valley Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
called to set up install and now here it is Thursday and the gutters have been installed. These guys are the most professional you will meet. Their work is outstanding. They also have gutter umbrellas that I may get later but I know both my Mother and Grandmother have them and they are wonderful. I would recommend

to anyone needing any type of gutter work. This is honestly the best experience I've had with any contractors ever.

Excellent service. I have been looking for a long time for something that worked with my metal roof since the water flows off so fast with other screens in just ran right over them. These new screen work great and he put some on an allowed me to try them in a good rain first.

I've been in my home for 13 years; it was built in 1996 and I obviously knew I needed a new roof this year. I had planned for this in 2014, saving, etc., and was waiting for spring to come around. I frequently receive flyers from Roofing specialists and the first place I go is the BBB, THEN I go to Angie's list. I'm very skeptical of solicitations for roofers, etc., as I've heard horror stories.
I did however receive a flyer for
Prescott Valley Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
, checked BBB and they A- rated ONLY BECAUSE they have only been in business 2 years in Georgia. I didn't find them on Angie's list. In any event, I received a second piece of mail talking about what they had seen on my roof, and actual pictures (from the street) of concerns that they had and asking for an opportunity to provide a free inspection. I took advantage and called them after the Christmas holidays.
I met Derryk initially who came by just to chat and I told him that I know I needed to replace my roof, so he only needed to sell me on

.... and we scheduled an inspection. On that day, the owner, the project manager, and Derryk came out, jumped on my roof, were up there in sub-freezing temperatures (yes, it was THAT week in January) and came down with pictures of wind and hail damage and explained that likely my insurance company would help in the replacement if I wanted to file a claim. I had no clue that any of that happened, and it apparently happened over the last year or so because we didn't have a lot of storms with wind and hail except for one day in October that I vaguely recalled.
Derryk and the project manager sat down with me to go through the process, how to pick shingles, what the benefits of one shingle over the other was, helped me in planning a call with my insurance company to get the claim filed, and they took it from there. Of course my insurance company was GREAT as well; they came out the project manager walked the adjuster over the areas of the roof, and they cut ME a check on the spot.
I have a

(oh to tears), but because of the shingle that

used, it was approved overnight. NICE SURPRISE.
We had freezing temps, which turned into rain, so I had to wait for some nice weather, which was this week. So they scheduled my installation for 1/20. Gave me a list of things to do; keep the driveway clear of cars; there was NO HUGE dumpster that damaged by driveway; for anything stored in the Attic, I should cover it with a tarp or something because with the removal process, things could get messy up there, and they highly recommended that we disappear once they got started. I didn't believe them but luckily I did take the day off (I work from home)... after about 15 minutes of listening to the elephants on the roof, I left; this was around 8:00 in the morning...my son and I left for a day of shopping and eating.
We were gone until 1:00 and we came back and they were all done except for one little thing and they were waiting on some material. This was ALL done by 2:00 in the afternoon.
These folks didn't leave a speck of dirt, dust or debris anywhere; the clean up was immaculate.
I'm in customer service so I know what professionalism is, but I also know what customer service is, and this company, and the people of course, made what I thought was a difficult and challenging process, something to write about... so here I am. They treated me with the utmost respect, explained everything I asked them to, engaged with my insurance company and showed them, without my engagement, what the challenges were, took care of everything I asked about, even samples for the
Prescott Valley Gutter Repair And Installation Companies Provider Name Locked
, and I couldn't be more please.
I HATE spending money, so that's the only reason I gave them a "B" on pricing; I didn't compare with anyone, but frankly being in customer service I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for", so I'm not usually looking for cheapest, just the best for my money, and I believe I got it.
If you have ANY need for frankly any construction, these guys do lots of things, so give them a call. Tell Derryk I sent you...

They did a great job. I bought a $99 deal for gutter cleaning and repair and roof cleaning. I've had some bad experiences in the past on deals where the vendor isn't very responsive. However, they contacted me immediately to set up a time, called the day before to confirm and showed up on time. Two gentlemen arrived, explained what they were going to do and asked me to point out any issues. Communication was great. They performed a couple of repairs and cleaned out our very high gutters and well as crud which had collected on top of skylights on our roof. It's been a couple of months and the repairs were effective. I was very satisfied with the service and price.

came to our home same day of my initial call and took his time to measure and walk through all of the options. Some had warned me that some gutter vendors, in order to reduce cost, use flimsy materials and assure the customer that it will work fine.

was not that way. He talked to us about quality and price and in my estimation gave us both. We could not be more satisfied customers. They look great, will accomplish the job, and I believe will stand the test of time.

I wasn't satisfied with the crew they had come out they were subcontractors and it took them like 4 or 5 days to complete the work. They didn't order enough materials. It took along time for the guttering people to get out to my home. It took several months later to even start the guttering.
