Get your pool ready for the off-season while protecting your investment by following these tips.
Owning a swimming pool isn’t cheap.
Is the finish on your pool falling apart? You'll need to have it resurfaced before your problems multiply.
You will have to find out what your model costs new - looks like they run from about $400 to 1700 depending on size. IF yours is at the lower end, might be just as cheap to replace it, with parts and labor. If not low end, then repair probably works. Typical pricing of components that might have gone out - switch $80, timer/control unit $130, heating element $100 (probably most likely to have failed) - so if only one of these went out, figuring $100-200 labor, probably cheaper to fix it. I would contact your dealer for a better idea.
BTW - here is a Saunatec instruction on maintenance on the heating element and rocks, failure to follow can shorten heating element life, if that is what went out (and probably the simplest to replace) -

Pool And Spa Cleaning reviews in Pinetop
I hadn't used the tub in 5 years, and had down to start it up again. He called me back promptly, and came as scheduled. He had quoted me $260.
When he finished the job and was coming in to settle the bill, I asked him if he could give me a quick refresher tutorial on how to maintain the tub, which he did.
It was during the tutorial, that he told me that the heater unit was broken, the water would not get hot, and I'd have to bring in an outside guy. Then I got the bill. It was $390, not $260. I asked if the difference was for the additional supplies (testing kit, bromine, etc) that I needed. His answer was no, he forgot to add that in.
Then I asked what the extra $130 was for.
To me, it's inexcusable to make an additional repair without providing the homeowner an estimate of the cost. Nor is it good business to charge an existing customer for a refresher tutorial. One other thing, check
So bottom line is,
