Pinetop Pool Cleaning Articles
When opening my pool this season, the liner was completely faded. My installer told me that the liner should not have faded and asked for water testing records so that he could share them with the liner company. Unfortunately, after reviewing the records, my installer informed me that the chlorine levels were way too high for the majority of the season. He also informed me that the Pools of Fun reader would only report results up to 10 (common level for public pools) so my chlorine levels could have been significantly higher than reported the entire season. It certainly explains my completely faded liner, faded suit, and damage to my daughter's hair.
Although much further away from my home than Pools of Fun, I contacted
I am completely impressed by the commitment, dedication, friendliness, and knowledge of every single employee/family member I have encountered since
The initial cleaning was performed beyond what we expected. The pool was in great shape and the flow through the filtration system was better than we had experienced in the entire time we had owned the home. We were very happy to have hired them and felt the monthly maintenance would be in good hands. We agreed that services would be rendered for a partial month on
Unfortunately, the weekly maintenance was unable to meet the standard of the more expensive, one-time, thorough cleaning. The first cleaning was on schedule, the second a day late on August 1. By August 7, the date of the next scheduled cleaning, green algae had begun to form in the pool. The company did not come to service the pool. August 8th, the next day of scheduled maintenance, came and went with no service. On the 9th, we contacted the company to verify they would be servicing the pool that day. Hours later we received an email saying circumstances precluded them from servicing the pool that day, and that two days later someone would come out. Two days later on the 11th, no one came to service the pool. We contacted the company at 5pm on the 11th to confirm someone would be there in the evening as we were told to expect. Hours later we received word that they would not be able to do so. By this time, the pool was thoroughly green and some black algae had started to form on the walls of the pool.
Finally, after not hearing from the company for another two days (the 13th, 12 days since the last cleaning), we contacted the company in the afternoon, asking if someone would be servicing the pool. The company accused us of unduly pestering them for services that had already been paid for and told us they would be refunding our money. By this time, the expert and thorough service they provided in the original cleaning was nullified, as the pool deteriorated to the point of needing to be drained and power washed, the filters clogged again with algae. All because of the company's unwillingness to find a solution (we offered to see if they could refer another company for a quick fix under the circumstances) to their inability to provide services as agreed to and paid for.
We were over the moon with their first service. The company was very professional and we felt comfortable in having them in our home. We told our friends how good they were. Our family as well. These people visited regularly over the past few weeks based on these referrals and instead of seeing good work, they saw how the pool deteriorated, became an eyesore, and finally an embarrassment.
The company betrayed our trust, took our money, and was unwilling to offer a refund to cover the services they failed to provide. In the end, rather than being willing to negotiate a fair resolution, they refused to issue a full refund for unprovided services and to cover the cost of resolving the damage to our pool caused by their negligence.
We would recommend this company to people in need of one-time pool service. We would not recommend the company to people looking for consistent maintenance.
We think we're the best, and we can prove it.
