"I was staying with my in-laws. My two children and I had been in New
, without my husband, and staying with family, for nine months. One" day, my 17-month-old got sick. She developed a croupy cough, fever, and had breathing issues. I had to bring her to the Emergency Room. We were there for several hours. Then later that day, the snow started. It continued to snow until the power went out in my in-laws’ house. We stayed the night because residual heat from when we had power, plus layers of clothes and blankets with which to sleep, seemed sufficient. However by Sunday we were freezing. My daughter was still sick and now my son seemed to be fighting something as well. My 17-month-old, still sick, was up most of the night that night and she kept my 4-year old up as well. It was an awful night. That Monday, my sister graciously offered us her vacant condominium upstate by
. The condo had power and therefore heat, both of which we desperately needed (especially with sick children). I packed a few necessities and we drove upstate. . When I arrived, I discovered that my sister’s garage keypad was not working. So in order to park in her garage, I had to turn off the car, lock the doors, run around to the front door and open the garage door from the inside of the house. Similarly, any time I left the condo, I would have to open the garage door from the inside, pull the car out, turn the car off and lock the doors, run around to the front door, close the garage from the inside, run back through the front door and around the condo back to the car. Coming and going was very difficult to do alone, with two children in tow. Actually, everything was difficult alone with two (sick) children in tow but I did the best I could. My two young children and I had another challenging, sleep-deprived night. Morning came quickly and we had to pack up and head back downstate because my son had school. After school, we returned back to our temporary “home” to try to settle down a little earlier with the hopes of finally having a good night of sleep. We all still struggled to get sufficient rest, but I determined that no matter the strain, my sister's condo was the least of all evils for my sick children. On Wednesday, our plan was to pick my husband up from the airport. I packed the children in the car, opened the garage door from the inside, and pulled the car out. I then locked the car, ran around to the front door, went in through the house to close the garage door. After the garage door was closed, I ran back out through the front door and ran around the condominium to the car. I got in the car and started to head out of the complex when I realized that we were not going to have time to get breakfast and bring it back to the condo; we would have to find something to eat on the road and we’d have to leave right away in order to be able to make it to the airport on time. It was then that I realized that my son had to use the bathroom, and I had to change my daughter’s diaper before we began the extensive trip to the airport. I thought about doing all the running around to get the car back in the garage, but admittedly, I was worried about time and about all the extra steps it would take to be able to park the car in the garage. It was then (around 9:15am) that I decided to temporarily park the car in the lot outside my sister's condo. I thought that it would not be a problem to leave it there for the small amount of time it would take me to help my son use the bathroom and to change my daughter’s diaper but only a handful of minutes later, as I was rushing back out to the car, I realized that my car was gone. It was roughly 9:40am at this point. My first thought was that the car was stolen since there was no way it would have been towed in the brief amount of time that I was inside. I immediately called the police and then I called my sister to find out how to contact the
company to see if my car had, in fact, been towed after the brief amount of time that I left it in the lot. I could not get through to my sister but I was able to locate the number to the Homeowner’s Association and I called them immediately (9:45am) I followed the prompts to contact the
agency but was disconnected so I called back (9:46am). I followed the prompts again and called
Recovery (9:47am). I asked them if they had my car and they told me to contact the
Collision Center, which I did (9:49am). I spoke with
who told me that she had to go out to the yard to see if my car was there, and that she would call me right back.
called me back (9:55am) and informed me that they had my car. At this point, the officer finished taking my information and left.
informed me that my car was there and I had to get it that day or else I would be charged a $65 storage fee. I explained my situation to
-- I was essentially a single parent staying in my sister’s empty condominium. I have two small children with me. I am alone. I have no friends in the immediate area, and I do not know the neighbors. I have no one to watch my children so that I could get my car back, and I knew no one (much less someone with two age/weight-appropriate car seats) to drive me to get my car. I told
that I had no choice but to ask
to bring my car back to me. It was the only way I would be able to get my car back. She informed me that I would need to pay the
fee in cash (despite the fact that it says on the
website in multiple places that they accept credit cards). I explained that I had no cash-- only a debit and credit card. She spoke to someone in the background and told me that the towers could follow me to the bank to get the money. I accepted this as I felt I had absolutely no other choice, considering the well-being of my children. I waited inside the condominium with my children for a solid chunk of time until the two truck came back with my car. Two towers were there and I attempted to speak with and reason with them. The younger of the two released my car from the flatbed and didn’t speak much. The older of the two talked with me for an extensive period of time. He informed me of the permit policy of the complex. He told me that he hated what he did for a living. He told me that there was no way any sort of compromise would be made for my extenuating circumstances. Assuming that no matter what, I would have to pay the exorbitant fee to get my car back, and knowing that my sick children were still out in the cold and my husband was now waiting at the airport for us to pick him up, I said “So I was told that you would follow me to the bank to get the money.” The older tower said “Actually, he (pointing to the younger, quiet tower) is going to ride with you to the bank. I am going to go tow that car (pointing to the car two spots down) and meet you at the bank.” I told the older tower that I was 100% uncomfortable with that plan. There was no way I was allowing a complete stranger to get into my car with myself and my two children. I told the older tower that I would be happy to wait for them at the bank and that “I will give you whatever collateral you need if you think I am going to run away.” I even offered to sit and wait for them to tow the other car and then they could follow me to the bank. The older tower hesitated for a few minutes and then told me that they would follow me now to the bank. They followed me to the bank where I got the money needed to pay the towers. I had to pay a disgusting and unreasonable ($324.37) which I did. This is TWICE the amount normally charged and I was charged this because
had to bring my vehicle back to me since I was a single mother, alone in
, with two sick kids and NO OTHER WAY to get my car back. This was a spiteful act on Admis’s part that they made me pay SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY COULD. At this point, the towers and I parted ways. In reliving the entire experience, I became more and more unsettled at the way the entire experience was handled by
T&R. My sister called. I then called
myself (12:35pm) to find out if he got my sister’s message, and to find out the names of the two towers who brought my vehicle back to me.
told me that he would have to check the records and call me back. In the meantime, I called
Collision (4:24pm) to find out if and when my car was on the premises.
was not there but
, the office manager, was. She informed me that there was no paperwork because the car was brought right back to me. In otherwords, the car was not stored on the premises and the $65 storage fee would not apply. At this point, I still had not hear back from
at
T&R regarding the names of the towers, so I called him back (4:27pm). He had just HUNG UP ON MY SISTER but he answered the phone when I called him and I asked him if he had found the names of the towers. He hastily replied “Yes!
and
!” despite the receipt that I have showing the initials JS and JR. I was back from the airport at this point and was on my way back upstate. My parents finally had power back so we didn’t have to stay upstate any longer. After I PARKED IN THE GARAGE and packed my car, I stopped by to see
. She listened to my side of the story (and my sister’s rendition of it over the phone earlier) and was very kind. She told me that she would stop by to see
on her way home, and she would call me back the next day. This is where the story ends. This unprofessional, insensitive, RUDE, awful man should not be in any position of power. He has a terrible reputation in the community and the public needs to know. Stay away from him; there are far better options if you need a tow!

"He was friendly over the phone. He called me back with a time to meet as promised. He showed up on time. He obviously knew what he was doing. He was very professional." I was completely satisfied with the service he provided.

I typically do not write reviews, but I will for this company. The transmission broke on my 2005 Saturn
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
while driving home from up north. I needed a tow late on a Saturday and I could not find anyone local to provide it for me. So I called
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
in Bloomington to come to my rescue. The dispatcher was friendly and understanding that we were having a bad day and told us he would have a tow to us in 30-45 minutes. The Dispatcher called us back to ensure we were OK and in a safe spot. Low and behold 40 minutes latter our tow arrived. The driver was friendly and kind. He handled the vehicle like it was his own. He allowed us to ride back with him and he even offered to drop us off at our house. The driver was very professional and understanding. All in all after having such bad luck on a Saturday afternoon, it was nice we could rely on such a good company as
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
to help us out all the staff we dealt with at this company our top notch in my book.

I have had one of the most degrading, humiliating experiences. I never have hyperventilated until this morning after dealing with Prince’s
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
Company out of Moncks Corner. Needless to say I will never use their services willingly. It all started when the police found my car alongside U.S. 26 Saturday late afternoon, after it was taken from me sometime early Friday evening. The police said it was being towed and I should call the
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
company and explain the situation and maybe they will not get charged the
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
fee. So around 5:30 Saturday I had to look on line for their phone number; found the number on their facebook page which said they were open 24 hours. I was happy and thinking I could go get my car…but no…the lady who answered the phone said they were closed until Monday morning. All she said to me was to come by in the morning when they open. She did not give me a time or any other pertinent information. So I got the Prince’s
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
at 7:45 this morning. A gentleman there said that they do not open until 8 AM but Holly usually gets there early, which she did. I go in and told her the police told me you have my car and I was there to get it. She then informed me it would be $287 dollars. I said I would like to check to see if my Visa card was still in the car so I can pay. Holly told me they only take cash. So I leave the office and go to the ATM up the road, where it would only let me take out $200 at a time and of course charged me each time. I go back and handed her $300 dollars. This is when she informs me that she will only take exact payment. Now mind you I was already feeling angry and violated before I got there and then to be treated with no compassion only made my feelings even more magnified. I left again to go get change. What kind of business does not carry at least $20 in change? At this point I was really angry. When I returned, I slammed the money down on her desk and she smirked at the gentlemen sitting across the desk from her. Now that put me over the
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
! I should have been informed of their unusual policies on my first phone call and on their facebook page. My husband was with me and witnessed Holly’s lack of professionalism. This
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
company has no compassion, treats victims with no respect or dignity, and I recommend that you never use them.

I had a 12 ft box trailer towed aprrox. 14 miles. Instead of using a flatbed transport, they sent out a Heavy duty Tractor rig. I have had this truck towed before for a third of the cost with the flatbed. I called and spoke to
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
. He gave me a song and dance about how towing works. He wasn't very professional when I told him there were other choices to use in the future. If you wanna be gouged for a

"HR" was courteous and efficient when he answered the phone and agreed to tow my car.
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
is the gentleman who arrived in the tow truck and performed the work. He was courteous and was careful with my car. Very professional. The tow truck was clean and allowed my car to be loaded on to it, (rather than pulled behind).
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
was prompt, arriving when "HR" said he would. I thought the fee was reasonable. I highly recommend and would definitely call them again (though I hope I don't need to!).

My wife and I were out and about on Sunday when she pulled into a gas station to refuel. When she tried to restart the car - nothing -
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
- dead as a door nail. A
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
police officer pulled up to get gas and I asked him if he could jump us - no problem. He had one of those quick charge units, but unfortunately it was low on power. He called a fellow officer who came to the rescue with jumper cables, but this battery was really dead.
Then
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
drove up. He just spotted the police cars and decided to stop. He had a double battery system in his tow truck and jumped it right away. We tried to pay
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
, but he would not take our money. We thanked the police officers and
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
and headed out to buy a new battery. But, before we got out of the gas station parking lot the car died again. One of the police officers called
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
and he returned. Again he started the car again. Since we had a Die Hard battery, he suggested we go to
Peoria Towing Services Provider Name Locked
immediately. He escorted us all the way to make sure we made it. Again, no charge - "I just wanted to make sure you made it."
"Who was that masked man?"
