Internal Medicine Reviews in Mesa

We are very happy with the care that they give us. Dr.
is in a new office now. We have been seeing him since 2005 or 2006. He listens and he seems very considerate about taking care of any issues we have. If it needs the attention of a specialist, he has a number of them that he recommends who seem to be pretty decent. However, we haven’t had any trouble that way. He is a good go-to guy. When it comes to their availability, you can’t get a hold of them during noon hours. Sometimes the girls in his office are kind of tied up and not necessarily paying attention to the people in the waiting area. When it comes to punctuality, I
’t think anyone is on time in a doctor’s office. I would use their services in the future too.

He was formerly a Pharmacist who decided to go back to school and become a Doctor of Internal Medicine. He had a marvelous sense of humor and was willing to work on a wide range of maladies - even if it meant doing research prior to the appointment. He was honest about what he could and couldn't do and I recommend him without hesitation to patients in, I believe,
, Oklahoma.

Internal Medicine reviews in Mesa

I've been going to him for 10-12 years. For general purposes I go to him because he is a GP. He's professional and seems to be a good doctor. I haven't had any problems. I will absolutely continue to see him.

My grandson was bitten by a dog and had to have quite a number of stitches at an emergency room. I called Dr. Ownensby's office (my primary care provider at the time) to set up an appointment to get his stitches taken out. He did not have an insurance card since my daughter had forgotten to give him that when he flew down for his visit. Dr.

's staff refused to schedule an appointment for him since there were "problems" with his insurance coverage. At the end of my discussion with the staff person on the phone when it was evident that they really didn't want him to come to the office, I told them that even if he hadn't had any coverage I would have paid for his visit out-of-pocket. At no time during our telephone discussion was there ever any concern about my grandson and his well-being. As a result of this, both my wife and I changed to a different primary care provider. When insurance concerns and financial matters take precedence over healing and treatment then I think it's time to find another physician.

My experience with him has been a good experience. He listens he is pleasant and I feel like he does a good job. I work in health care and I feel that he is knowledgeable. Basically good at what he does and his staff is polite and helpful.

I called for an appointment to be seen by my Primary Care Provider Dr.

D.O., was not able to be seen until 10 days later. I was seen in the late afternoon and I was called into the exam room within 10 minutes of my appointment time. Dr

listened to my explanation of why I came to see him when I hadn't been seen in more than 6 months and he asked very appropriate questions about what was going on. While I was there I asked him a question about a different, unrelated, medical problem and he was happy to take a look at it while I was in the office. Two days later I woke up sick and I called his office to see if I could be seen and I was able to get an appointment at 1:30pm that day. I arrived on time and I had to sit in the waiting room for 1 1/2 hours before I was called into the exam room. Dr

, aside from being very surprised to see me back so soon, was very empathetic about me being sick. Even though he was very busy and backed up Dr

took his time talking to me and checking me out to make sure he did not miss anything. It was really okay that I had to wait so long in the waiting room, it was a Friday afternoon and I was being seen as an add on to his already booked schedule. Very nice Dr., kind, funny and with a great bedside manner.
