Bathtub Refinishing reviews in Mesa

They notified me they were on the way, arrived on time, assessed the problem, provided a cost estimate, performed the service quickly and efficiently, and billed my credit card.
Unfortunately, I do not know what program to use to open the .pub work order they attached in an e-mail to me.

Perfectly. I highly recommend them!!!!!!
I telephoned. They came out for an estimate the same day. I loved the initial meeting. They were very patient and kind as I decided when color/style to get.
They arrived on time and did an amazing up everything! I absolutely love my "new" countertops.

We had a wonderful experience. Our installer put down rugs to protect our floors and carpet from the constant traffic. He was very pleasant and easy to talk to. He was there all day and he didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. After he was finished, he cleaned the tub and walls and glass doors and even vacuumed the stairs and room. This was the best service I ever had in my house.

Sold product pretty well - they have the ability to cover a lot of surfaces and I feel the sales person and I went over things pretty well. Job took 3-days to finish since I had to have one bathroom free. Smell was strong and toxic but we were warned appropriately. When the finish was done it had a orange peel texture in some areas but not in others. When I called to talk to them about it, 4 people (including one owner) trooped over and tried to tell me the surface was originally orange-peel (which it was not and I showed them the smooth areas.) They tried to sand the orange peel surface, unsuccessfully, and I overheard the owner saying "just make sure you get her signature". Not a good sign but they had already pissed me off at this point. Also, they installed a new shower door - took them 4-hours, which means they had never done it before - door keeps sliding out of its hinge and the metal for the magnet keeps falling off. However, I do not want them back in my house.

I was impressed with

's at first, but we have had some problems. When they removed my marble wall to work on the tub they laid it outside. Due to the temperature extremes, it cracked when they brought it back in and they had to replace it with a plastic wall. They had also done some caulking for us and after they left, the caulking started to fall out in places. They were back twice to fit it and it still happened. They made excuses and finally just gave up on fixing it. Now they won't return my calls.

I called to set up a service call date. Be prepared to provide them with a credit card number over the phone when you call. This is apparently because they charge you $50 if they show up and you change your mind and don't have the work done. (Does that happen a lot?) On the day I was scheduled for service nobody showed up. I called to find out that my appointment had somehow never been scheduled. I had to re-schedule for a week later. After complaining about this they agreed to take $50 off the cost for my inconvenience. A tech named

showed up a week later. He was professional and completed the job to my satisfaction. BE AWARE! They are just giving your tub a paint job. It will not have the porcelain surface you had when it was new. They will give you instructions on how to care for this new surface. It will not last forever. Of course neither did your old one. They have a 5 year warranty.

The repairman arrived within the scheduled window. Completed the work neatly, in a timely fashion. Repair work was excellent and the price right. It is very difficult to find where the repair was made. Highly recommend!!

The company said that the shower unit would look brand new when they were finished. IT DOES! I was also given details on how to care for the unit and clean it now with the new surface. The service technician, Nick, did a great job masking off the entire area, even taking down clocks, pictures and mirrors where he knew there might be effects of spraying. I was very concerned about new flooring that was near the unit and he made sure that there was no residual effect of spraying the new surface on the unit that would damage or coat other areas. The company warned me about the smell and how long I could expect the effects to last. I had this done just as the weather was heating up and could open windows to adequately vent and the smell went away even faster than I thought it would. I was told to allow the unit to "cure" for at least 48 hours prior to use. I waited a week and have found the surface very nice and easy to clean. I was given a guarantee on the crack repair of 3 years and on the resurfacing of 5 years. I am so happy with this company and their work, that I'm going to have them come back and do the guest bath tub/shower unit repairs, that they tell me will blend with the mostly unused unit surface and I won't have to have a complete resurfacing there. Having

do this work saved me from buying a completely new unit, ripping out the old unit and replacing it. Or from having a huge expense changing from fiberglass to porcelain tile and all the mess that would have created. I slept in the guest room for a couple of nights but I probably wouldn't have had to do that either as the smell/fumes were dissipated before bed that first night. The owner,

I was able to pay by credit card and received a hand-written receipt at the completion of the job and then in 2 days received the credit card receipt from

This was the biggest project we have done on our house in 25 years! Although we have had flooring redone and kitchen cabinetry, those projects were much smaller in scope than this. We could not be more pleased with the finished project. When we first met with
Mesa Bathtub Refinishers Provider Name Locked
, we had ideas of how we wanted some things done. He gave us a lot of great suggestions--especially when it came to choices in tile and how to do our beach entry shower. While we felt strongly about some of our decisions (I insisted on the dark tile floor!), we appreciated his guidance along the way when we were not sure how things should be done. His experience helped us end up with a beautiful bath that we will enjoy for years!
We cannot say enough about the crew. They are polite, professional and trustworthy. We were extremely pleased with the work they did from every aspect--tiling, plumbing, sheetrock, cabinetry and electrical installation, etc. Having work done on both bathrooms meant they were here for 6-7 weeks total. I felt comfortable enough to leave my house whenever I had to and not worry about having workers here. They take pride in their work and were constantly checking with me to be sure that what they were doing was the way we wanted things done. I actually miss them now that they are done.
We have been living with our new master bath for a couple of weeks now and would not change a thing. We also love the changes in the guest bath. We would not hesitate to recommend

Connections to anyone thinking of remodeling. We are very happy that they were the ones we chose with this project.

I found
Mesa Bathtub Refinishers Provider Name Locked
and Fiberglass repair on Angie's list and used them because of the high ratings they received. I had heard about the process of revamping an old shower/tub stall instead of buying a new shower. I've heard the term called "Rebath".
The Technician came out at the scheduled time and was extremely thorough in explaining how the process is done, and what can be expected and not expected. Very professional.
Another Technician arrived to do the work and they talked about the scope of the job and then the Tech that helped us with the consultation left. The Tech started work immediatley and worked diligenlty preparing the shower. From start to finish the process took about 5 hours. He pepared the unit and then taped off all the area with plastic and ran a portable hose out a nearby window (to help with the smell). After the Tech sprayed the tub, he took down all the plastic that wasn't absolutely necessary so the stool and sinks were able to be used. He was so meticulous I didn't even have to vacuum or anything.
It is an amazing process. It looks like a brand new unit. (The Tech warned during the consultation not to expect perfection, because any defaults that existed before will probably be seen in the final result). For example: The bottom of our shower had tiny tiny pin holes that were chips in the coating. He said those areas would appear more smooth than the rest of the textured bottom. (In the finished product it was not noticeable to me at all. It is smooth in those areas the size of an eraser head - but this does detract at all. No one will ever notice). There is a smell associated with the process, hence the hose out the window during the actual spraying part. They removed the hose when they were done and had us leave the bathroom fan on with the door shut for overnight. It was almost gone the next morning, and definitely gone the day after.
Also - side note: On the phone when making the appointment and describing the floor of the tub, the scheduler anticipated that the floor may have to be repaired (which they also do). After the Technician actually looked at the unit, he determined that was not the case and that the floor was sturdy. That assessment saved us about $400.
After the unit is sprayed it must cure for 48 hours. They worked with my work schedule to return 2 days later and take down the plastic around the unit and to replace all of the tub/shower fixtures.
I am so pleased with this company and how the tub/shower turned out. It looks fresh and clean and virtually brand new.
I would definitley recommend them to anyone wanting a service like theirs.
