"I used SECU-MD for mortgage services. They had the lowest ARM rates and closing costs in the Baltimore-DC metro area when I refinanced in 2011. Their application" and closure process was very efficient except sometimes the mortgage processor was overwhelmed with too many applications to respond to questions within a couple days. The loan payoff in November was very fast and efficient. I highly recommend checking with SECU for any type of mortgage financing.

"car loan went fine and was repaid WELL ahead of time. at the end, I apparently had overpaid as showed credit balance (less than $100). under the impression that" closing accounts can negatively affect credit rating, just decided to leave it there. As statements were received every quarter, I would quickly glance at them and file away. 2nd to last statement there was one $5 inactivity fee that I did not notice - presuming no change as there had not been for a very long time. on last statement, noticed (three) $5 fee/month for inactivity. when questioned, I was told that it was a SAVINGS account (?) and that after a year of inactivity, there is a $5/month fee. I was unaware of this and they were unable to tell me where/when I was informed of that other than on the 2nd to last statement where the first fee was listed. they agreed to issue a check to me for the balance and refused to refund the $20 in fees accrued. obviously, being a car loan that I was paying back to the account - did not occur to me that is was a "savings" account. this is not a satisfactory resolution and caught me quite by surprise at the lack of appreciation for a customer!

The term on the first CD was 2 years. There is no online banking if you only have a CD, but there is a tollfree number to call if you want info about your balance. When the first term was near completion, I received a letter with options, either do nothing and the CD will renew for another term, or send us something in writing to close the account. I allowed the CD to renew. About one year later I received a nasty letter saying that if I didn't contact them, they would consider my money abandoned and send it to the state, since they had no proof that I still existed. When I called to complain, they brushed me off with a 'Well, that's our policy! If there is no contact for 3 years, the money is abandoned.' So, if you are looking for a safe place for a long-term CD, I would not recommend this bank.

They have a nice branch and nice people. They are a more conservative bank, so they are less electronics oriented. If you want to get quick mortgages or something, they are not so much the bank because they didn’t have any bad mortgages in the old crisis back then because they still want minimum 20% down, so their customers

’t really get into same kind of trouble because they never accepted those mortgages with a small percentage down.

This review is specifically about mortgage the loan officer at the Rt 9 branch in Framingham. My wife and I visited her, and she explained the options clearly - in terms that anyone could understand. She assisted us through every step of the process and in a few short weeks our loan closed. Excellent service, excellent terms, great closing attorney.

Following the normal process of depositing business checks into our account, one of the clients called us saying the $2500.00 check they used as payment for our services was mis read as $250.00. The process of depositing requires the check to be read by an electronic scanner, presumably read and checked by the
Chino Valley Credit Unions Provider Name Locked
, and finally checked by the banks balancing process. One, or all of these processes would have picked up the error if applied. Following a call from one our the clients who's check was in the group, I went to the branch and presented to he deposit slip to the bank representatives and explained the error her immediate response was to take a defensive position by accusing me for not reading the receipt following the transaction. In the exchange of words the bank supervisor approached the desk and after hearing the problem stated " this happens all the time" not to be concerned, I would have to file a claim for the $2.250.00 deficit, and in a few weeks I would receive the misappropriated funds.. Following several letters and phone calls to TD Banks headquarters for weeks until one representative did respond to the messages left and said the supervisor and the

Got a Visa credit card serviced by this bank. began receiving fraudulent charges to the account, they issued another account number and got fraudulent charges to that account. This scenario went on for four more card issues.
Chino Valley Credit Unions Provider Name Locked
tried to blame it on the Home Depot data breach. The first fraudulent charges probably were Home Depot-but the subsequent card issues-none o0f which were even authorized by me could only be the bank's fault. Home Depot never had the subsequent number-no merchant did

I had a complicated bankruptcy, but not so complicated that an attorney in this field would have trouble with. My discharge went well, but after that it was insanity. Bottom line was that I felt as though
Chino Valley Credit Unions Provider Name Locked
just didn't want to do the work. Just plain laziness. I put my schedules together and kept on him about the issues post discharge. I ended up having to hire another attorney to fight the trustee, which Mr.
