came right when he said he would. Before fixing the ignition cylinder, he explained and showed me what he was going to do. He also gave me a probably diagnosis, which he ended up being right about. In the end, he didn't charge me for any new keys (a dishonest locksmith could have done this without me knowing any better). The cylinder is fixed and the car starts smoothly. He was very efficient and kind-spirited. The price was $450 less than what the dealer quoted me as well. I would recommend this guy if you need a locksmith and you're in the area.

arrived on time, got down to business and did what we asked him and then some. He cautioned us about one lock above our door that would be problematic in case of fire, and cautioned us about it. He obviously is very thorough in his assessments. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He made sure to clean up the wood shavings from the work he did on the door. Much appreciated.

We called

Locksmith was very professional. He did his work well. Pointed out a problem with one of our locks, told us how to it could be fixed, but didn't try to push us to do any extra services. Would definitely call again.

I was skeptical at first, as I scheduled the appointment for yesterday (Monday). I hadn't heard anything from the company, so I contacted them in the early afternoon. I was told they had order the keys; however, the shipment hadn't been delivered yet. We rescheduled for today.
Paragould Locksmiths Provider Name Locked
was our service representative, and we couldn't have been more pleased. She went above and beyond with our vehicle. She took the time to make sure it was done correctly. She could have just made the key, but the she didn't leave until she figured out whey the alarm on our vehicle kept going off.
I appreciated the professionalism!

I had
Paragould Locksmiths Provider Name Locked
install a Medeco brand "premium high security" deadbolt and door knob cylinder, provide four keys for the new Medeco locks, plus install a new mailbox lock (I live in a high-rise) with two keys. The total cost of the equipment and installation came to $401.48. I went with the high-end Medeco locks as they are heavily touted to be "pick" and "bump" resistant. On the Medeco web site they show a video of the Medeco deadbolt holding up to drilling. I also liked the idea of Medeco's "key control" feature in that duplicate keys can only be made by Medeco authorized dealers and require approval of the registered owner (I'm not not so sure this is a good thing now - see below).
As is the case with most deadbolt locks, the interior side of the deadbolt cylinder is operated by a small knob I believe is called a thumbturn. The thumbturn locks/unlocks the deadbolt from the inside. My Medeco thumbturn came off. It appears to be held onto the lock mechanism by a tiny screw which has apparently failed. My Medeco deadbolt thumbturn actually came off in my hand as I was trying to unlock my door one morning to leave my house for work. I couldn't get the thumbturn to reattach for even one final turn of the knob and was essentially locked in my home. I realize this may sound odd to those who don't live in a high-rise condominium, but I only have the one door to and from the hallway the leads to my unit. I had to call a neighbor, push my key under the door, and have the neighbor unlock the deadbolt from the outside in order to exit my home. This strikes me as a significant design flaw in the Medeco lock. What if I had been trying to exit due to a fire? Luckily this incident only resulted in my being late to work that day.
Since only authorized Medeco dealers can obtain replacement parts for Medeco locks, including the tiny little screw that holds the thumbturn in place, I called
Paragould Locksmiths Provider Name Locked
Specialists to see about getting someone out to perform the repair. For the reader of this review I would like to point out that according to Mapquest it is only a 3 minute drive from my address to
Paragould Locksmiths Provider Name Locked
Home Security. In other words, we are within walking distance of one another
When I called
Paragould Locksmiths Provider Name Locked
to report my problem and seek repair I was shocked to learn that I will have to pay a minimum charge of $250 just to have this screw replaced. This price does not include the part, rather, the service call and the minimum one hour labor charge imposed by this vendor. When I objected to this outrageous sum I was told I was welcome to call a different Medeco authorized locksmith to see if they would do it for less. This, despite the fact that
Paragould Locksmiths Provider Name Locked
is the authorized Medeco dealer that installed what I can only now describe as a deadbolt with a serious design flaw.
If anyone is considering a Medeco lock, they should also be aware that only the Medeco authorized dealer who installs the lock set is authorized to make duplicate keys in the future. Not even other Medeco authorized dealers can make replacement keys for a Medeco lock installed by another authorized Medeco dealer. I am not in need of additional keys but I think this information might be helpful to others in that once a customer has selected a Medeco lock and dealer they are pretty much stuck with that same Medeco dealer until such time that they opt to replace the lock altogether.
At this point I'm not sure what I'll do to get my Medeco lock thumbturn repaired. I may just end up replacing it altogether with a different brand. One thing is certain, I am not going to spend another $250 with
Paragould Locksmiths Provider Name Locked
to repair a tdeadbolt thumbturn and as a result of their pricing and my experience with this Medeco deadbolt cannot recommend them to others

Very prompt and courteous service. Called prior to the appointment simply to confirm the time still worked for us. Was prepared for all of our needs since we were unsure of the number of locks. Replaced two non-functioning locks and re-keyed the others.

Called
Paragould Locksmiths Provider Name Locked

He was confused at first by the design of the keypad's locking mechanism and initially told me it was broken. After about 30 minutes he was able to figure out the design and begin installing it. I provided the lock and a handle, but the handle wouldn't fit, which was my fault. I asked him to put in another one like it. I meant a handle that would fit correctly with no locking mechanism on the handle since we would use the deadbolt exclusively for keyless entry to the front door.
I needed to leave and my significant other arrived about 10 minutes later and saw that he had installed one with a lock. She asked if the lock could be used accidentally to lock other people out, since we have tenants that come in out. Since some door locks unlock when the small handle bolt (not deadbolt I don't remember the name of the part) that goes into the wall from the door when it is closed, so it can only be locked once you are outside and the door is closed. He said it could not happen accidentally, so we thought that meant it was the type of lock I just described. However when I got home and tested the door after he left, I locked it then closed the door with me outside, and I had to go around back. Obviously at some point a tenant would be careless and turn the lock, which would mean everyone would be locked out that didn't have or know how to get a backup key.
I called and explained the miscommunication and they sent someone a day or two later and replaced it with a handle with no lock at no additional charge. However I think the new handle was a bunch cheaper and they didn't give any of that money back, so there was in effect a

fee.
Nonetheless they came back and kindly fixed it without a direct charge, and the door lock works correctly now, so overall I am happy.
