"I chose
Service based on the glowing reviews from Angie's List members. I took advantage of a coupon they offered, and made a payment" of $100.00, listing the days I was available to be home. I received a prompt reply via Angie's list, scheduling my cleaning for that very same week. My husband requested that they only clean our uppermost gutters, as we were able to reach the lower ones ourselves. They did the cleaning we requested and also cleaned off portions of our roof where pine needles and leaves had collected. They informed us of some damage to one of the upper gutters and left a written estimate, should we choose to have that repaired in the future. We were very pleased with the speedy and professional service provided by
and will definitely be calling them again.

-Melissa G.

"A job well done at a reasonable price.Their follow-up to my order through Angie's list was prompt and they met my scheduling needs. They inspected a suspected" failing gutter and determined the cleaning resolved the problem with no need to take any further action to repair. I will use them again in the spring when it is time to clean again. Thanks Guys

Two notes #1 20 feet is going to cost you more per foot that 100 feet.  #2 All prices are relative to Your market ie Omaha is less expensive than St Lious.  Here expect to pay on the 100 foot job $5 to $6 per foot of gutter (5" aluminum) plus the $4 to $5 a foot for the downspouts and $15 to $20 for soffit and facsia covering ie vinyl soffit panels and painted or vinyl clad aluminum covering the fascia.  In the trade a soffit & fascia job.

Unless you are constructing a French Drain (dry well filled with rock or debris and no exit) style system you use a non perforated system.  Cut the plastic flush on the angle where it daylights if the slope is great enough,  If you need it river rock can be used to construct a dry riverbed type drainage ditch out from the daylighted drain.

Short answer: It's up to you. Many home remodeling contractors, including exterior remodelers, don't expect a tip since they've already provided a set price within the contract, but if you really feel that they've gone above and beyond, you may feel obliged to tip them. Angie herself answered a very simliar question in a recent column: Should I tip my remodeling contractor?

Not knowing what type of eaves (the lower edge of the roof) you had before the new soffits were intalled I have to guess what might have happened. If you had closed eves (no soffits, just rafter tails with blocking between) before as was done on some older homes it is possible they removed or drilled holes through to the attic. When this was done there should have been a baffle installed to direct the air flow up and over the insulation. This would only be possible for the soffit installer to do if the wood blocking was removed and not just had holes drilled in it. If the insulation contractor did not go all the way to the exterior wall that could very well be the cause or it he did not make sure the insulation was pushed down to make contact with the ceiling material. If the house was never cold before I would bet the problem is at the eaves. You should call the insulation company for an answer.

The ice build-up in the gutter should not, provided they are properly attached and solid, rip out the gutter.

When you get snow slides and large chunks of frozen precip that let go and slide down the roof with velocity, those are what tear off the gutters and create damage.

If you are concerned about the snow load, a snow rake and/or a proper roofer can remove some of the accumulated snow.

Some ice damming is unavoidable in the correct conditions but I would urge you to look into proper ventilation of the roof and air sealing and insulation.  This will reduce your home's inclination to form these ice dams in the future.

Extremely professional, punctual, places great pride in his work, communicates effectively and is most conscientious about his work. Leaves the area in the same condition as upon his arrival.

This is our 3rd time hiring

Service to clean awnings and exterior trim on our home. He and his crew are very professional and courteous. They move all furniture, planters, etc. and replace them when finished. I have recommended them to friends who have also been very happy with their service.

I had called the service because, every time it rained, water was pouring out of the gutter located in the front of my house. It washed away soil from the foundation, and I was afraid it would cause serious damage to the foundation. it is a small gutter, and he said it was filled with roof debris , and when it rains, they swells up quickly so water comes out of the side of the gutter instead of down the spout. After the service, when It rained, I went outside and looked at the gutter. No water from the side of the gutter, but all came down through the spout. I think it is valuable service to have at least once a year, checking roof and gutter and repair any damages. it protects foundation and also

There are a lot of trees on my property and a lot of stuff falls off of them into my gutters. Instead of paying someone to clean them twice a year, I had

install a covering that keeps out everything and they will never need to be cleaned.

and his helper were efficient and polite. He called me to confirm the appt. several days beforehand and called me an hour before on the day of service.
They were efficient and thorough and alerted me to a wasp nest being built inside one wall near a gutter! The price was very reasonable and they worked in a timely manner. I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them to family and friends! It was a pleasure doing business with them!

Called to set up original appointment to have our gutters cleaned. Name of company not given when they answered the phone. They said they would call me to give me a time they would arrive on day of service. They didn't call so I called them. They weren't on their way, they lost my paper work and didn't have any of my information I gave them a couple days before. I rescheduled and they neither called nor showed up for that appointment. I called and left a voicemail to cancel so they wouldn't show up when we weren't expecting them.
Very disappointed in their unprofessional behavior, especially after reading such good reviews.

did a good job. This is the second time I have used them. They were running a special last time so the price was a little higher than I wanted to pay this time but still the most affordable I found on Angie's list.
