"Just as Angie's list members had described in their reviews. Will use this group for my annual and any eye care needed.

"Was referred to an retinal specialist in the office for another appointment. Several eye tests were taken as a baseline. No news is good news. But have been scheduled" for two more appointments (one with the original opthalmologist and one with the retinal specialist) for later this year. Will have a better 'feel' of this business after the next appointments..

I called for an appointment for an eye examination and wanted an opthamalogist to do it. The appointment was scheduled for two days out and the exam was done promptly when I arrived. A complete and thorough exam should only the need for glasses and they are available right there at the facility. I was pleased enough to go back and purchase a second pair of glasses for driving.

Overall it did not go well. The person who called me back from the waiting room. Did not introduce himself or his position. He ran a few test on my eyes that are typically run by a technician and not the doctor. As he brought me into the exam room and sat me in the chair he took my current glasses and wrote some things down, telling me nothing about what he was doing. Then he started having me look through the machine and asking be to choose between two lenses, "better or worse", scenario. He only did two on each eye and when I was having trouble deciding which one was better or worse he got frustrated and snapped that I had to pick one. I wear progressives and have been farsighted my whole life but now with age have other issues too. He never examined by reading prescription and said the doctor would be in. I truly thought he was getting some kind of baseline because it was not a complete eye exam that I am accustom to. The doctor came in and asked me a couple of questions. I am not sure what I said but she started telling me about how glasses work like I had never worn them before. When I told her I had worn glasses my whole like she stopped her description. I know it was my first visit but I felt she did very little to know about my needs or history. She got called out of the room for another patient and throughout kept checking on others and coming back to me. Then she came back in to dilate my eyes and I was SOOO confused because I really felt like I didn't have an eye exam yet. I should have said something then but didn't after she dilated my eyes and did that exam she started talking about my prescription. I then told her I hadn't had an eye exam and she said that whatever the other guy did was the exam. Again I still don't know who he was or what his job title was. I said he didn't give me a reading test, and the exam didn't seem complete. At that point she still didn't exam my eyes but called the guy back to give me a reading test while my eyes were dilated. He then changed my reading prescription and said he made the other one based on my age. They then sent me out with my dilated eyes and prescription and nothing else. I did get glasses with the prescription and regret it because it isn't the correct prescription and I should have know that would have been the case.

After reading many reviews on line I was hesitant because of various complaints about long waits and a few bizarre complaints about Dr carters manner.
My experience was excellent regarding results. Eyes are still healing but, I see better than I ever have before.
I found the waiting times to be comparable to most other specialists office waits. Things happen in a surgeons office,so some days are better than others.
Both my surgery appointments went very smoothly. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

If I had it to do over, I would go to Dr

other I cancelled the appointment and went to Walmart because they could see us the following evening. We felt much more welcome at Walmart. The person at eye professionals didnt seem to care about the urgency of my daughter situation or accomodating a child with after school hours. Though I cancelled they kept calling and texting to remind me--I would tell them i cancelled. I got a call the day of the appointment also --i explained I had cancelled and also responded when the reminded me that i was not interested. This could be a great place for adults but you will be more welcome with a child at Walmart and other local eye boutiques

Took my daughter here because we had new vision insurance. I was very impressed by the extensive eye exam my daughter got; in the past the we're very basic compared to here. The staff was very friendly and made us feel comfortable in a new place. The Dr was very personable and my daughter felt at ease right away. We will be staying with

Dr.

was very pleasant to work with. She did all the eye examinations & refraction very professionally. She prescribed an antibiotic ointment for the eye infections and an over-the-counter eye ointment for the dry eyes and inflamed eyelids. I applied these as instructed, and haven't had a problem since. I'm really happy with the solution - its relatively easy to apply, its not expensive, and it works really well. When I got the glasses made from the new prescription (at the optometrist's office next door) they were sharp and clear and perfect. I have no complaints whatsoever and I will go back to Dr.

for my next exam. I would recommend her to anyone.

Appointment for screening was punctual. Operation was scheduled for a time that worked with my free time; very considerate. Lens choices were well explained. Pre and post operative directions were well explained. Follow up appointments were at my convenience, and very well managed.
