"Dr. repeatedly interrupts the answers to questions he has asked in a condescending and rude way. Some of his staff was very nice - the initial" person I spoke to that booked the appointment as well as the nurse that took vitals. Communication with Dr. is difficult as he misinterprets what is being said. Then he proceeds to interrupt assuming he knows what you were going to say. When I attempted to clarify he merely repeated himself as if he were speaking to a complete dolt. After having not received the downloadable registration forms I contacted the office by email requesting the forms. I received a call from telling me they had sent it. It took telling her 3 times with her responding each time with, "It was sent." I don't need to argue about it. The whole reason I sent the email was clear. I didn't have the forms. She did finally send them after arguing about it. In my initial call I was asked for my pharmacy location 2 times, which I provided. I then included this same information in the registration form prior to my appointment. Yet they still managed to send my prescription to a pharmacy 11 miles away from the pharmacy I had provided. I'm not giving a failing grade because I don't want to overreact. There were a couple nice people. They were on time. Conversely things must be really good for Dr. as he can afford to treat people as if they are uneducated, unsophisticated, unintelligent rubes. I suspect the attitude from was just something she sees Dr. do and thinks it is ok.

"I was terrified from the moment my daughter was diagnosed. I didn't know what to expect. I never really liked Doctors very much, and I didn't want my daughter" to feel the same way. I couldn't stop it. After 2 times a week driving to the appointments for check-ups, tests, results, pre-op, post-op and so forth she was not a fan of the medical room. However when it came to Dr. , my daughter was always at ease. She never cried when he took her from my arms. He came in with a smile, he took time with her to maintain a mutual trust. I can't express how much that put my mind at ease. After each surgery, there was a lot of instructions for post-operation, and care at home. He took the time to explain everything, and patiently waited while I asked all my questions, and voiced all of my concerns. He never rushed us. He didn't make me feel like my daughter was just a patient. He made me feel like my daughter was a precious human being, who he wanted to take care of. He was wonderful, and now my daughter is a thriving beautiful six year old, with no fear in the near future of health risks, or issues.

Urology reviews in Hot Springs

The appointment went well. The billing was horrible. They overcharged us by hundreds of dollars and then promised they would reimburse us. Four months later we have still not received a check. Each time I have called over the past two months they have told me the check was going to be cut within a day or so. Today, I again got off the phone and ...More they said the same thing. They apologized and said they were going through a system upgrade that did not allow them to cut checks for the past month and a half. I understand things like this happen, but they were not honest with me about how long it would take and we have been expecting to have that money for other needs. Holding on to hundreds of dollars of my money without any explanation or communication and not paying me interest or some other compensation is unacceptable. I pay my bills on time. I expect them to live by the same courtesy. Badly done!

I was having extreme pain and bleeding during urination and had a history of kidney stones. My current urologist had retired and no where else could get me in for another month. I had an appointment within a week here. I was called back right on time. The nurses are nice but matter of fact which I enjoy. The doctor is also that way. He gives you facts, ...More not fluff which I also appreciate. I am there for information, not to make a friend. He ran all the necessary tests and treated the issue. My follow up appointment was quick and efficient as well. I would recommend.

Dr. is an outstanding urologist who has treated me for urology related issues for several years. He is professional, thorough and compassionate. He explains issues with patients and genuinely listens. He does an all around outstanding job. His staff is very accommodating and pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. ...More and his team for their excellence. They really raise the bar when it comes to medical practice.

After first Lithotripsy was told have a tumor in my bladder. On second Lithotripsy approx 4 weeks later asked if he got biopsy of tumor. He stated that the tumor does not bother him, and he wanted to concentrate on the stones. Also stated that 95% of tumors in bladder were benign. After third Lithotripsy asked again about tumor, was given same answer. ...More After fifth Lithotripsy he had nurse call me to state that I still had stones and he could do no more to help me. He wanted me to see a Urologist in Indianapolis.
and even found that I now had a second tumor I requested a meeting to find out my current status. At the meeting he informed me that I had one stone remaining in each ureter (i.e both left and right). Instead of Indy went to Dr Stonehill in South Bend. At first interview where I transmitted past x-rays and scan data and verbally explained what current situation was, Dr. Stonhill remarked that he found it disturbing that a biopsy of the tumor had never been done, going on to explain that doing so was easy once he was in there with the Lithotripsy equipment. Had sixth Lithotripsy with Dr Stonehill on 6/27/15, and it was determined that instead of one troublesome stone in each ureter, I actually had several in each side. Dr Stonehill did a biopsy of bladder tumor, and now found that ZI had a second tumor and took a biopsy of that one also. Pathology showed that both were cancerous. I feel that Dr seriously dropped the ball on me.

The appointment was at 330pm. I got there at 315pm. A friend came with me to help me with the question and answer session so we were both taking time off from work that we would have to make up. 330pm came and we did not get called back into one of the rooms. Shortly after a man came out of the back rooms and went to the receptionist and said he ...More had waited 45 min's back there and he had yet to see the Dr. and he had been there since 2pm. He said he would go find another Dr. The receptionist, instead of apologizing for the wait said, "No one else will take your insurance!" So he said he would consider rescheduling and left. About 4pm they called another guy to go to the back rooms and he said he was not going to go back there and wait 45 min's for a Dr. after he'd already been there 45 minutes and he rescheduled with the receptionist. Finally at 430pm we were called back to wait in one of the little rooms. We waited until 530pm and then we left. I advised the receptionist I was very upset because the was supposed to be my "cancer" talk and I had waited 3 weeks to get an appointment when he'd have time to talk to me. She said she was sorry but he was just running behind. NOT ACCEPTABLE! The nurse called me the next day and left me a voice mail to apologize for the long wait and Dr was offering to call me on Friday. I never returned the call.

I love this Doctor. I never have to wait when I get to her office. All paper work is done on an iPad which is great and you can even pay your co pay on the iPad! As soon as I hand them back the iPad they are calling my name to see the dr. She is very knowledgeable and has even had kidney stones herself so she knows my pain'. She is very ...More thorough and is always up to date on the newest medications she takes the time to answer any questions or explain things. She is very courteous and realizes that your time is important. If they need to do a procedure she will ask you if you have the time to do it and she will tell you how long it will take. The office staff is very friendly and pleasant. Office is clean and has plenty of magazines and a TV . But since I never have to wait I don't get to use them but if you have someone with you it is a atmosphere to wait in. I highly recommend Dr. Staiman and her staff!!!

They seem to be more interested in running more test than anything else. This appointment was after a prostate biopsy that after it I had to have a catheter in for a week. She did not even examine me on my last appointment. All she wanted to do was run more test and even another biopsy after only 6 months after the last one that went south on me. Looking ...More for another urologist.

Dr. painted a picture about how great things were going to be after my radical prostatectomy. However, after 4+ years since the surgery, I am still incontinent, I have erectile dysfunction, and had a incisional hernia because of the incision he made in my abdomen. If you are thinking about getting a prostatectomy, ...More DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. GET A SECOND OPINION. don't RELY ON FOR ALL THE ANSWERS, because in my opinion, he tells you what he wants you to hear.
