"My husband was trying to tile our bathroom floor and after tearing everything out his back went out, we had a mess. After months I e-mailed
" the owner of
explaining our situation. He called, came out and gave us a price and said they would be out the following week. They were here and on time and did a great job. We are very happy with our new floor. We have several other jobs and will be calling his company again.

Whether you want to replace a laminate floor, backsplash, shower stall or countertops, ceramic tile is a durable, easy-to-clean option that can add value to your home. Both ceramic and stone tiles are nearly maintenance free, though grout will need occasional resealing.

Tile flooring

There's nothing classier for a kitchen or bathroom floor than one made of natural tiles. But tile flooring is expensive and does have some disadvantages that homeowners should think about before making a decision on which type of flooring they prefer.

shower tile and faucet
Ceramic Tile

White vinegar, water and a little elbow grease still works best to clean grout and avoid damaging it.

floor tile with clean grout lines

Cleaning grout by using the right methods keeps it from becoming dingy and discolored.

Freshly tiled floor with clean grout

Depending on the problem with your grout, staining or replacing may be the only options.

Ceramic Tile

Laying floor tile is as much a skill as it is an art. With time and practice, a handy homeowner can master this task. Start small with a half bathroom, a mudroom or other area, rather than your entire kitchen.

Tile Installation reviews in Hot Springs National Park

The grout did NOT set and was chipping out like chalk between the tiles!!! OMG!!! In every room...kitchen, foyer and 2 bathrooms. It was like chalk!!! I called the owner,
Hot Springs National Park Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
and he wouldn't come by to see it and has ignored all my calls and even my advice that I was going to take his shoddy work to small claims court if he didn't come out and fix the horrible grout job. It will be expensive to have somebody correct this shoddy job and re-grout!. This man has no concern about his customers and doesn't make good on his work!! Never use this company!!!!

I bought a deal from Angie's List to have three rooms of carpet cleaned.
Hot Springs National Park Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
called back within minutes of my paying for the deal to set up an appointment that worked for both of us.
On the day of the appointment
Hot Springs National Park Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
called to say that he would be here within an hour, and he was right on time. He put guards on all the corners that his hose might rub against and moved all the small furniture off the floor. He put "booties" over his shoes and proceeded to do a great job cleaning three bedroom carpets. One bedroom was especially dirty and stained and he still was able to get the carpet pretty clean. I asked him if he would do two small rugs and he did them for a nominal charge. He put two tables up on foam blocks before returning them to the correct locations.
Hot Springs National Park Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
is a friendly, personable, and very hard-working young man who takes pride in doing a quality job. I would not hesitate to call him in the future for any carpet cleaning needs.

Hot Springs National Park Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
and his team of subcontractors were very professional and usually on time. I thought they did a good job. But I just had a problem with my wine cooler, which they had installed, less than 2 years ago. I tried calling owner(
Hot Springs National Park Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
) and he would not return my phone call. I thought they did a good job until I needed to have Wine cooler serviced. We could not get wine cooler out from under counter. They just put in hole, the flooring under was 3/8 in lower than the tile in front of it. I left message for owner
Hot Springs National Park Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
to call me, I had a problem, he never called me back. I guess it was take the money and run. The only way to get wine cooler out was to cut up a good fairly new( 2 years old) wine cooler. I am very disappointed. I had to purchase a new wine cooler and have a contractor do it right, this time. making the flooring even before installation. Because due to the levelers in back we could not get out from under cabinets with out ruining the wine cooler. So in the long run, they cost me over $1,000 to fix what they could have doen when they did the job for less than $25.

Hot Springs National Park Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
was always on time and worked overtime the first day to get the job done. His price was very good, as a matter of fact we paid him a little extra because we felt he shorted himself based on all the tile cuts he had to make. Very conscientious person. Job looks really good.

It went very well. we've used
Hot Springs National Park Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
previously. We hired him to tile our newly remodeled kitchen and to put in a backsplash. Everything came out beautify. He has always been on time and a very clean worker. He never left a mess or things to be picked up
- Verna M.

From start to finish things went extremely smooth. Firstly, he arrived on time for the estimate, timeliness is very important to me, as I value my time very much. In the past I have not hired contractors because of their lack of timeliness, it's generally a nice gauge of their professionalism. He clearly has a thorough knowledge of not only tile installation but of tile itself and the various types. He actually gave me more information about the actual tile I bought than I really needed(or wanted).
I got 4 different estimates for this work and something just clicked with
Hot Springs National Park Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
, very easy going, yet professional guy. Please note that of the estimates he was not the cheapest of the lot. Initially I thought his price was a little high, but after receiving the other estimates his price was fair, somewhere in the middle.
I have been in and around the construction field for 20 years doing carpentry and renovation work myself, his attention to detail was excellent. He does things by the book, no shortcuts. This type of thing is RARE. All of the work was done on time and as we discussed. The custom backsplash design he came up with was really phenomenal, I am constantly getting compliments on it. The only negative thing I can say about
Hot Springs National Park Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
is that he is an avid Greenbay Packer fan.
- Johnny S.

Very professional company. The owner gave me the estimate. His wife followed up quite often until we were ready for their services. The 2 man crew came and finished in one day. They stayed until it was done. So far so good.
- robin L.

They came out and completed the tile and grout cleaning and did a good job however when they left the job they left out the front door and walked all on my marble floors with the shoes that had the chemicals they used to clean. They left footprints all over my marble floor. My husband and I tried to clean it however it wouldn't come up. I called the company and advised them of this and they told me what I could buy to clean it and that if we bought it they would come out and cleaned it. After contacting them back to ask when would they come out to clean it they told me they are too busy and we were too far and that we could just clean it ourselves. They now don't even answer my phone calls! They just gave me the run around!
