"The people at
were a big help in finding the right tile for our kitchen. They helped us go through many different types of tile's, different" styles different colors etc. they had their technician come out and make accurate measurements of the kitchen and for that we're going to have tiled. We had to postpone the installation a couple of times and there were very helpful in doing that. When the installer did come on the day we finally selected he was very prompt and very professional. He made us aware of some of the problems with the prior flooring that have been down and guaranteed us that he would make the new flooring done right. I was impressed that there were fast but at the same time seem to be very accurate. The one installer would make a measurement in the other helper would cut the tile to size I think you got every single one perfect. The chief installer helped with deciding how much of a big route we should put in and we went with his recommendation to use the smaller grout width and we were very glad we did. We had originally been going to put the tile on a slant but when we placed it on the floor within like the way it looked and so we tried putting it just horizontally parallel to the walls and like that much better. By doing this we had some extra tile and the installer said that he had enough to do the bathroom for us and recommended that we do that but also that we turn it 90° from the tile in the foyer and kitchen to differentiate it from those areas, I'm glad we took his recommendation it looked great. The final job turned out fantastic and they had every day cleaned up after themselves. The only thing I would tell people is that
is still selling Congolium Duraceramic. This product is advertised as being an engineered cross between linoleum and a ceramic tile. They promote that it has the durability and ruggedness of ceramic but is not as cold as ceramic. Nothing could be farther from the truth. We had Duraceramic installed previously and after a very short period of time, only couple of years, we found that it had nicked very easily and had lots of nicks in that short amount of time. We also found that some of the joints buckled and were cracked. We had our original linoleum flooring down for 20 years with six kids and it was in better shape after 20 years then the Duraceramic after four years. When the installers for that product came to the house and I saw them cutting the Duraceramic tiles with a utility knife instead of having to use a tile cutter I should have known that it did not have the durability of a ceramic tile as advertised.

"the carpeting in our house when we moved in was in bad shape. The previous owners had two young boys and two cats. It was dirty, worn, and smelled pretty bad. The" Empire salesman showed up with samples and the whole process was quite painless. We got our quote, scheduled our installation, and the installers showed up a few days later... The installers were probably contractors and spoke very little english. They worked very hard and for probably 12 hours a day over two days but it was difficult to communicate with them. They were friendly but not very professional. On install, the carpet looked great but it has worn TERRIBLY. They did not use a power-stretcher when they installed the carpets which means we now have wrinkles in the carpet as it has stretched out. The carpet in the basement was installed very poorly and as a result, I replaced it with laminate over this past new year's break. Although the quote for carpeting and installation was great, it was not worth the money. I am kicking myself for selecting Empire and it makes me sad that my beautiful home has such lousy carpeting in it now.

Most  reputable carpet stores should be able to help you, they know what is available. and should be able to find a good carpet for a good price. sometlmes they will buy overruns that are a good value. Also,   make sure they do use a power-streacher when they install the carpet! Pat All Carpet Repair
?

Carpet with pad purchase cost $10-20 for really economy cheap stuff, $20-30 for normal brands, and $30-50/SY (square yard) for high-end carpet, to $100 or more for custom or gold thread and such.

Installation cost does not change much depending on what varpet is installed - generally about $10-20/SY.

So, for normal medium-range carpet I would assume $30-50/SY.

. He was willing to teach and answer tons of questions. He is the consummate professional.
He is probably a little more expensive than other carpet installers, but, in my opinion, well worth the cost. He took obvious pride in his work and it showed.

At
Hot Springs National Park Carpet Installers Provider Name Locked
Service office they provided a wide variety of carpet samples and selections. They were helpful in explaining carpet
qualities, answering our questions and allowing us to select the carpet we wanted for our home.

They removed and disposed of the old carpet, then installed the new carpet installation in our living room, bedrooms and stairway.
With a piece of remaining carpet we made an extra request to install it at the entry to our basement. They were able to do this for us.

Upon removing the old kitchen linoleum floor, they noted several dips, low spots in the floor and corrected this prior to installing the new tile floor.

We enjoy our carpet and tile floors and love the look it gives our home.

I ordered the carpet in advance since I needed the carpet done within a week. The sales associate said this wasn't going to be an issue of timing since they had the carpet in stock. When they pulled the roll of carpet down it wasn't even close to the color of the sample. Needless to say I was delayed another week due to the wrong carpet. Then the install process is handled by a third party that has no care in the world about service. You have to play a three way

came to my house on 1/13/2015 to give me an estimate on having vinyl flooring put in my workroom. She was exactly on time, very pleasant, and obviously knew what she was doing. Her estimate was in the range I was looking to pay so I asked her to schedule the work, she made a call and asked me if Monday 1/19/2015 was OK, I said set it up. Her vinyl guy (I believe his name was

, if not please forgive my terrible memory!) Showed up exactly on time and went to work. Less than four hours later my workroom floor looked great! He gave me some vinyl cleaner, gave me advice on how to maintain it and told me to call them if any issues came up. I could not be happier with this company!

I called on a Wednesday and Ed was able to come out the following afternoon. He took a look at the problem spot, and gave me a quote of $50. Since I didn't have any spare carpet scraps, he cut out a small piece from behind a water heater in the back of a closet and used it to seam in the repair. He also took a few minutes to try to do some stretching to take out a few wrinkles in the hallway where the repair was done. (He offered to do a more extensive stretching job for an additional charge, since it would have required stretching the entire long hallway and both adjoining rooms, but I declined.) He cleaned up the small carpet threads from the repair, and also pointed out where some tacks were exposed in the closet from where he removed the carpet, so I knew they were there and could place something over them. All in all, a great job from a friendly guy at an extremely reasonable price.
