"Terrible, absolutely terrible. No professionalism at all, especially from the owner,
. We have a fairly large yard and needed to have it" sodded. They guys brought over the many pallets of new sod and left all of them sitting in the hot
sun for 4 days. After multiple attempts at telling the guys that the sod needs to be placed, ASAP, they ignored us. So, after 4 days of sitting on the pallets, in the sun, they finally got around to it. As you can imagine, all of the grass went bad and died not too long afterwards. I never once got an apology for this. It was always one excuse after another. He always put the blame on me. I even had second opinions from other landscaping companies and was told that I was not at fault here. I did everything
asked. But, yet, it was my fault. There were so many other problems with
. The front walkway was/is a disaster. Not at all what we asked for. The plants/flowers they put in look horrible. Most of the plants they transplanted died. After all of this, mostly the issue with the sod, they didn't do really anything to help the situation. Remember, they never apologized. Never took blame. Legal action was considered towards them. I ended up resodding the yard myself and it looks great. I will never recommend
to anyone! And, I'm still finding trash that they crew left behind.
behind bushes and trees I'm finding left over materials, all kind soda cans, all the cigarette buds, their lunch bags from various fast food companies, and much more.

"I spoke with someone in corporate and expected my requests to be relayed to the local office, which is in
. None of my requests were relayed." I asked that they come in the afternoon, around 2:30 p.m. because I have a large dog. I asked that they call first and NOT to ring door bell which bothers our dog. The attendants that came this morning had not been informed of any of my requests. I happened to come earlier than normal and catch them at our home working in the front yard. We keep our back gates locked. I explained that I had made requests and they told me they had no idea about any of my requests. I called the number I had for
and expressed my disappointment that my messages had not been given to the local office. Someone from
called and apologized and asked if he could call me back today at 3:30 p.m. and make it up to me. It is now 5:00pm and he has not called. I probably would not refer them to anyone else due to the situation that has arisen.

How to Get Rid of Springtails

One of the most effective ways to control springtails is to dry out the infested area. Springtails require a high-moisture environment to breed and thrive, living mostly off of algaes that grow in moist conditions. They will either leave the infested area or die out. If there is an infestation that cannot be controlled by drying out the infested area, use an appropriately labeled insecticide with a residual time These will typically be a liquid concentrate form, a wet-able powder form, or a dust product.  DO NOT APPLY UNTIL AREAS ARE DRY.  If area will not dry naturally, use Corn Starch to soak-up any lingering moisture and otherwise 'steer' any rain water or irrigation away from area.

Also, if there is a noticed springtail infestation around the perimeter of the structure, use the insecticide to do a barrier treatment and apply corn starch to reduce or eliminate moisture. Caulk and seal all cracks and crevices and inspect potted plants before they are brought into the house.

I would talk to your local lawn and garden supply store (or mill and feed) - NOT a box store or hardware store. There are also selective grass control chemicals. YOu can research this by Googling using search string      "Tall Fescue Control" - there are lots of articles by the USDA and individual state cooperative extension services.

There is a treatment called chlorsulfuron TFC (Tall Fescue Control) that will do this - it worked for me in western New York, but took 3 years to finish out all the tall fescue. It may now be limited to use by commercial applicators - pretty potent stuff. Can yellow bluegrass or make it phytosensitive, but our looked OK during treatment because the TFC was applied in the fall for best results, and our lawn was dormant till spring anyway.

Tall fescue can also be controlled by real short mowing, but only in areas where the bluegrass is dominant and really thrives so will eventually crowd out the trimmed fescue, but you may be too far north for that.

Beebe Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
was professional and very knowledgeable about lawns, lawn care and subsequent treatments. They were on time, each time they needed to put a new application down. I was tired of doing lawn treatments myself and turned to the professionals. They have quite the client list, including the commercial space of the

GGL consistently does a great job with landscaping and general lawn and yard care. I've been using their services for two years now and they're a joy to work with. I highly recommend them for home or business.

Called them in April '14. The were very responsive and professional, and even gave me a free fertilizer since I had recently seeded, then returned for a second treatment a few weeks later. Weeds died pretty quickly after the treatment and I was pleased with how the lawn started to look. Unfortunately that was early May and I could not get them to come back again until late

, by which time the weeds had taken hold again. They never returned my calls in between, but did show up, as evidenced by a flag in my lawn. Since all the weeds were back, I basically paid for them to start over. This treatment didn't last as long and I really needed them back in August, but again, no returned phone calls. By the time October came and I got another company out, we had missed the opportunity to

weeds before winter- which means the lawn will not look its best when I list my house this summer. Called the corporate customer service office in early October (ironically after they sent me a customer survey request) and spoke to a shift manager who took all the info and said they would get back to me. Again - no response. I'm not sure exactly what happened between the first treatment (professional, very nice and responsive) to the summer experience I had, but I definitely would not recommend them based on my experience.

One application has been applied however I have signed up for the complete treatment for the entire year of 2015. I will give a detail review towards the end of this year. Thank you.

On May 8, 2014, Purchased from Angie's List $89 for 3 Lawn Care applications for my elderly mother who chooses to avoid a nursing home and remain in her home. Email communication with Organic Turf advised me that service dates would be whenever a technician is in the area, but that they could send me a text message the afternoon before. Good enough. don't know how many applications were actually applied, but she still had weeds and dandelions in her lawn. Nevertheless, I purchased another deal for personal household several months later. I then found out that Organic Turf had billed my elderly mother for unauthorized additional applications. I spoke to
Beebe Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
who advised me that the deal was only part of an annual treatment and that the $89 was for the first 3 applications. I replied that no such information was disclosed in the Angie's List offer. I advised him to cancel all services immediately including the additional one that I just purchased for my own household.
Now I find that my mother received a letter from American Profit Recovery, a collection agency date February 9, 2015. Now I have to go through all the rigamarole to dispute the charge and prevent a collection from showing up on my mom's credit. I am steaming mad.
- Gregory J.

It was fine. Initially I wasn't satisfied but they immediately went over the areas that I was concerned about. They didn’t leave until I was satisfied. The price was excellent.
- Beth G.

They took care of me for about 8 years. They did a fine job on the paving. The prices were reasonable. They were responsive on times when I would need them to do service and I was happy with them.
