we moved in, we tested the alarm and Guardian did not contact us. They had the wrong information in their system. after many tries we were finally able to get them to correct the information. Now IZ have the paper bill mailed to my house and Guardian will not mail it. They told me something is wrong at the post office. All my other mail makes it to my house but Guardians. I have tried several times and they insist the information in their systems are correct. They canot mail me my bill until it is late a few months. This is a terrible company and I will drop them once my contract is up.

I love my new security system! We were closing on a house and only going to be in town a couple days for the closing. I called

and explained my time constraints.
Ashdown Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
, the sales/installation guy, was at the house the day of closing and had the system up and operational within hours. The system is a snowbird's dream. Remote access to the security system and camera system, central station reporting ($32 mo). We can even give access to service vendors remotely! Bonus, it saves us money on our property insurance too.

The package arrived with everything I needed to set the alarms. It was very easy. When I was done setting everything up I called FrontLine and they walked through everything with me. You can check online at any time.
I especially like that I can see on my iPhone if a door has been opened, and closed and what time that took place.

I called to get a quote.
He came out the very next day.
Gave me an excellent price for what I needed along with a great monitoring price.
Did the installation 2 days late.
Was very professional, timely and did everything he said he would do.

We closed on a house in Spring Texas and wanted an alarm system. We called ADT corporate and spoke to them about their various "specials" and "deals" and to no surprise, came to find out that their "free installation" didn't cover nearly enough equipment to adequately equip our home. The price quoted for the "extra" sensors and monitors was well over 1000 USD.
A little background...our home has three sets of double doors facing the front out of the house and three glass sliding doors leading to different areas in the backyard. We also have several exterior windows that required sensors. I knew there would be extra costs for such an installation but was not at all satisfied with the ADT's approach or bid.
We were referred to Bulldog by our home inspector so I contacted them and spoke with Tray
Ashdown Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
, VP of Marketing who worked around our schedule to come by our home one evening after my wife and I finished our work day.
He is polite, professional, knowledgeable and very straightforward. We toured our home and he gave us several ideas and options for how best to equip the house with a system. In the end we decided to go with door sensors on each of the six doors along with several window break audio sensors spread throughout the house. Those sensors and the way they are spread out allowed us to save a significant amount of money and being that many of our windows don't open, we didn't even need the other window open sensor.
We also decided to go with the carbon monoxide/fire monitoring sensor as well.
In the end, the bid we received was less than half of what ADT proposed AND we got more sensors, two key chain alarm triggers as well as the carbon monoxide/fire sensor, none of which were part of ADT's proposal.
We signed a contract and I gave him my credit card information. Right there in our home he drafted the documents and created our account with ADT and then scheduled the installation. He stayed with us for the better part of two-three hours after working his full day in the office and in the field. He left at about 8 pm as I recall and wouldn't even accept a bottle of water.
The installation was scheduled for the very next Saturday and there were two guys working for a few hours installing the system from scratch as our house had never had a system before. They were well groomed, professional, pleasant and very well spoken. Again, they wouldn't even take water from us and never took so much as a quick smoke break.
They cleaned up after themselves, vacuumed the dust from the holes they made in the walls and ceiling, explained how to operate the system and left us with a ton of ADT stickers and a yard stake.
Since that time our system has not needed any service or repair other than when ADT had to recently come out to replace the wifi box due to AT&T changing their tower antennas.
I recently reached back out to Bulldog to discuss upgrading our system to the Pulse system which allows for cameras, home automation and remote activation via a phone app and I called Tray again. He gave me his mobile number which I used and we briefly discussed my thoughts as he drove his family on vacation.
He called me when he got back from vacation just as he said, had looked up our account, had all the details on pricing and timelines and told me quite honestly that because this was an upgrade install of a new system, I would probably save a great deal of money by going through ADT direct instead of Bulldog because of how their contracts work with ADT.
Needless to say, I was a bit disappointed because I'd rather not deal with the creeps who ADT sends out to do their sales calls. I will probably wait a few more months until my contract runs out with ADT and then see if Bulldog can help me as a renewing customer instead of a current customer upgrade. That might be possible.
All in all, I have been very impressed with Bulldog. I like that they are a local company that I can call any time I have questions or concerns and I truly appreciate the professional and courteous service provided by Tray in particular. It's not often that an upper management representative of a company will so freely hand out his personal mobile phone number and invite me to call then whenever I need anything.
A++ to Bulldog as far as I'm concerned. For those that have encountered issues with their sales reps or anything, I certainly encourage you to call the office and speak to one of their management team members (their names and titles are posted on their website) and discuss your issues. I'm sure the enthusiastic and professional folks at Bulldog will do whatever they need to do to resolve your issues.

Since installation, approx. 9 months ago, I have had nothing but problems with
Ashdown Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
. The install was not good. They had to come back to add a signal booster. Cameras are continually down. calling for service is HORRIBLE! You are bounced around, put on hold and your call is often dropped.
Ashdown Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
is all about selling you an overpriced ineffective system, then putting you on a long-term contract. It's all about the money. The equipment is not very good, the computer based monitoring is time-consuming and is a poor interface. The worst aspect is the abysmal service. I will never recommend
Ashdown Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
. The Pulse system is over-hyped and not very good. A bad experience form the horrible, incompetent sales person and every service call thereafter.

The installation would have gone exceptional but our home had some wiring issues. This had nothing to do with the skill and expertise of the installer. He went out of his way to get our system up and running. He spent a lot of his personal time in assuring us that he'd get it up and running. It works great now!

We are big fans of
Ashdown Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
and feel good supporting a local business vs. a national chain. We bought a house that had an ADT system but wanted to switch it to
Ashdown Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
, who we used at our old home. When you get up and running first they will send a person out to look over your home and give you some options on what system best will suit your house. Our guy called me and was very nice and gave me the options of a wired vs. wireless system. He said the wireless was a little more per month but would be less install, whereas the wired would save me $6 monthly but be more expensive to install as we could not re-use some of the existing wiring in the house. He didn't put a hard sell on me for additional items or anything like that, which goes a long way with me. I can't think of the last time I dealt with a large national chain that they didn't try and upsell me on something. That is why I like dealing with local businesses like

Anyway, after he leaves you set up an appointment to have the system actually installed and set up. The tech arrived on time, was very nice to my wife and went through everything with her on how to work the system and access the online features. We had an issue after he left with a motion detector where it was being triggered and setting the siren off even when the system was not armed, and they were able to fix it over the phone.
They are always very nice and professional when they call after an alarm. Every now and then we forget it is armed and open a back door to let our dogs out, etc. and set it off by accident. They call immediately, ask for the information, and are very professional.

Sales process was easy, the installation was very easy. After the initial process I purchased an electronic deadbolt and they walked me through getting linked into the system.
The company itself is fine, with above average friendliness and support. However the main appeal for me was the features of the system and monitoring process itself.

After numerous over the phone discussions with
Ashdown Home Security Companies Provider Name Locked
we purchased the $99 home security monitoring equipment package, which was a really great deal. The initial consultations were great - the sales staff knew the product well, were professional and courteous without being overly aggressive in trying to sell their product. We were also able to customize the equipment package to suit our needs. We have received several follow-up calls to make sure we are happy with the system and to also walk us through the equipment installation - the representative we spoke to was again professional, courteous and even rush delivered some additional adhesives so we would only need one sensor for each of our double hung windows. We wanted to be able to use the smart phone app for monitoring and controlling the system, which required a slightly more expensive monthly fee; we also had to sign a 36 month contract - in an ideal world (to the extent a contract is required) I would much prefer a 24 month contract however given our experience to date with
