"They are awesome. They have a lot of vets and I've seen at least at least three of them. I have been impressed with each one of them. They take the time to talk to me and evaluate my pet. They make sure that I understand what the problem may be or what the issue is or what may be happening from a medication standpoint. They are just great. They are probably a little expensive but I ?t mind it. Their follow up is excellent. They are responsive if I have an appointment. I will absolutely continue to see them. "

"I spent about $160 on my last visit there. My dog had eaten a portion of a rat. I suspected that it might have been poisoned. The veterinarian saw my dog and took a blood sample. He prescribed vitamin K. I was happy with the treatment. He told me that it is what he would prescribe for his dog. The practice has been really good. They have been able to get me in quickly when I needed to go in. They are a little expensive, but I get what I pay for. I had to wait a while for my last appointment. I will continue to use this practice in the future."

"Excellent. Very caring and competent staff and vet, I saw Dr. . My one complaint - and the same goes for any other vet I've been to - is that any Rx drugs that can be purchased for humans in the correct dosage are much more expensive when purchased at the vet than getting a script written and taking it to your pharmacy. Paying for convenience, expedience, etc. always costs more for a vet who has additional overhead as compared to a pharmacy. However, for future scripts, they were absolutely willing to phone them into my pharmacy. I also prefer their method of payment, you wait in the room with your pet while they process your charge instead of wrangling with (in my case a 65 lb dog) at the reception counter with other animals possibly present."

"It was my first visit to this vet with my dog who was 2 years old. Our previous vet was old-fashioned and easy going and I would help hold my dog while he looked her over - no troubles. My old vet retired so I wanted a new vet with modern office. The Sunrise staffers were very nice, and my dog and I went into the exam room. They wanted to put her on the exam table and said they had to take her from me and do it themselves. I gave them her leash and she followed them to the table, which was a small stainless steel table that was down at floor level. They walked my dog (medium, 50 pounds) onto the table and pushed a button to begin raising the table. They did not hold the dog and as the table lifted, the motor made a loud noise and the table kind of lurched and she slipped on the steel. She got really scared and fell down and began to fight her leash and the technician, because she was trying to get back to me 10 feet away. She was so frightened that she pooped and and more, snarling all the while, and tried to bite the tech who was hanging on to the leash. It was awful and scary. As soon as the tech let her go the dog came to me and sat down at my side looking up at me, panting and anxious. I got some paper and cleaned up her fur, and after the tech and vet calmed down they began to tell me that she was a dangerous dog and needed serious training or she might have to be put down. They made me feel like a terrible dog owner! They gave me the name of a trainer, sold me a special collar and a book on training, and sent me on my way. I was sure I was at fault and had the trainer come over. She was not very helpful and not very skilled, and mainly tried to show me how to teach the dog how to heel. After talking things over with my husband I began to realize that the vet did a poor job by scaring my dog with that slippery table that moved and made noise, and they were not willing to let me be by the dog while they looked at her. I got referrals to another vet who also tried to handle the dog himself and took her off to the lab on her leash, and when she got scared and became a whirling dervish, he immediately brought her back in the exam room to me and began to talk about sedating her. Then he noticed that as soon as she sat next to me she became quiet and calm, so he decided to try to examine her while she sat next to my leg. He did muzzle her just in case and she let him do everything, including draw blood. So now he lets her sit by me while he takes care of her and she is fine, tho we do muzzle her to be safe. I have other dogs who do let the vet take them away, but this dog is different and needed different handling. My vet says it is highly unusual for a dog to be better behaved with the owner nearby, but he took the time to understand this dog. The Sunrise vets were not able to figure that out. I got more out of watching "The Dog Whisperer" on tv than from these people. My dog reads my attitude and my emotions, and if I am calm and in charge, then she is calm. I really feel the Sunrise vets did not understand how to handle my dog, and I gave them an "F" grade because of the way they made me feel horrible and ashamed of my dog. I imagine they would be fine with an average dog, but I will never go back to them and their judgmental attitudes. My new vet and his staff are way worth the long drive."

"My 15 year old lab-mix did not make our move to the area in good shape. He didn't want to eat, and if he did he threw up almost immediately. He was weak and wasting. Dr. was kind and forthright about our dog's issues. AFter the X- he said we could do another view or a CAT scan but they would not change the problem, just further define it. He suggested trying mushy canned food over the weekend (it was Friday) and thinking about his age and condition. We tried feeing canned food but he was wasting away. We brought him back on Monday to say goodbye. The receptionist and techs remembered him, greeted him, and let us be with him throughout and for as long as we needed afterward. Dr was visibly touched but very professional as she administered the drugs. The vets and staff were very empathetic and helpful. I will definitely be bringing my old and young pets there."

"We walked into Dr. and Dr. Dubash's clinic and received a friendly welcome. Mrs. came out to us. Mikey jumped on the scale to be weighed, and then we were immediately escorted into an exam room. The vet tech came in and calmly spoke to Mikey and checked his vital signs. The tech then took Mikey to the treatment area to take a drop of blood for the heartworm test. When Mikey returned he was calm.
Dr. came in and talked with MIkey and I for a while. We talked about any concerns I have about my dog. Dr. thoroughly examined Mikey, paying extra attention to the heart, since MIkey's breed tends to get mitral valve disease. After the exam, Dr. vaccinated Mikey, using multiple injection sites for the various vaccines. Mikey did not seem to have any discomfort. Mikey then got a dog bone, which he ate quickly. A positive experience for owner and dog!
I have full confidence in Dr. 's care of my dog. He has taken care of either Mikey or his mom, , for 10 years."

"The care my dogs have received has been outstanding. All the staff have been professional and kind. My dogs have never been afraid to visit the clinic and are treated so lovingly that they are happy there regardless of the treatment. I cannot reccomend Sunrise more highly."

"I have been using the for several years now. Dr. and her staff are a+... Especially and . What I really appreciate about this vet care is that they don't try to push unnecessary testing/shots etc on you. They are a courteous, friendly and compassionate group of people. High all around."

"Dr. and her staff are simply wonderful! I have an older lab who is 13 years old. He has elbow displasia and arthritis and I brought him to Dr. for accupuncture treatment for the management of these chronic conditions. I was only visiting Tucson for the a few months and she fit me into her schedule and was warm and welcoming. She clearly loves what she does and was very thorough with my beloved lab each time he came in. We came in every week for several weeks while we were in Tucson. She was great with the dog (who was not crazy about standing for the treatments). She explained everything very clearly and also recommended an herbal supplement that has allowed us to take him off ascriptin! We are very excited about this because he is clearly in much less discomfort, he loved going to her office, he would prance in every time, the office staff is very very nice and Dr. is a lovely person and a great asset to the Tucson veterinary community and to the pets of Tucson! I look forward to going back and taking my dog again next time I visit Tucson!"

"Dr. was very compassionate and helped me understand it was time to let my old dog Red go. He was there at 7 pm at night to put Red down with great compassion and I felt sad but I knew it was the right thing to do. I would take my animals back there any time. Dr. was very good."
