Dr.
will come out to your home to do a peaceful euthanasia for your beloved pet. She is beyond professional & knows exactly what to say & when to say it as this is a very sad traumatic thing for most people. She comforted me & my family when I thought there was no comfort to be found. She is timely & has all the equipment needed along with options for transportation. She takes care of all the details so that you don't have to 'think' about them. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants their pet to be able to 'go home at last' in the peacefulness of their own home.

This is the second time I have gone to Dr.
Tucson Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. I've only had my cat from the Humane Society for a few months but I've had cats and dogs my entire life and am picky when it comes to vets. The office has been able to work with my complicated schedule and has been able to see me quickly both times. With Saturday hours, it makes things easier as well. I read another review for her on here that wasn't flattering and although her office may not be the fanciest, it is because she puts her money in to the animals--not the decor. It was obvious she reviewed my cats file prior to entering the room and she knew everything--I haven't always received this service from vets. She is caring and it is obvious she loves cats. I feel as if she treated mine as it was her own. I will continue to use this clinic as long as I love in Tucson and I couldn't be more happy with the service. When you factor in the price, I definitely feel like I am getting more than I paid for in her treatment.

My dog has finally started acting like she is actually old so I had a whole list of issues I wanted to talk about. I spoke about the problems and each were addressed and talked over what we can do. They have always shown the extra care of calling the next week when there is something serious going on so they can be on top of any issues. I have a total of 5 pets I bring in. I often recommend

to anyone who is looking for a new vet.

Tucson Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
provides 24-hour emergency veterinary services, which is very much appreciated. They provide excellent care and have an excellent facility. We have taken our dog there twice this year to get him over his cluster seizures. Both times, they got them under control and we took him home in about three days.
Of course, it is never good to visit a 24-hour emergency veterinarian since almost by definition, your pet is having an emergency. Hence, this is a bad thing. But what makes it even worse is that
Tucson Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
is so expensive, even by emergency vet standards. The cost of the nursing care is reasonable and other items are reasonable for emergency care. Yet, the cost of generic Valium (diazepam) is outrageous. They are charging about 28 times the going rate. It would be OK if our dog only needed a shot or two, but he needed a lot...I think about $650 worth. By all rights, we should have been charged about $25 for that amount of generic Valium, according to competitive pricing. OK, it is fair to add some surcharges and fees...how about 2x or even 5x more than cost. Oh let's get wild and charge 10x of our costs. You know, that is still reasonable. Remember that I said we were already paying for nursing care separately so one can assume that nursing care means that the nurses actually do something for that charge, like say give a shot every once in a while. So, why charge us 28x more for Valium than what everyone else can buy it for?
I did call and talked with their business manager. She was nice and courteous. I'll let you create your own judgement from her statements below.
1. The cost of drugs always goes up when there is a war. (My comment to you: Remember this is September 2013.)
2. We only charge you what our suppliers charge us. (My comment to you: We had a
Tucson Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
compounding pharmacy prepare some diazepam suppositories for our dog and we still paid less than half by milliliter of what
Tucson Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
charged us for a liquid

.)
3. Looks like we did not charge you enough the first time you were here. You got lucky since we should have charged you more the first time you came in. We are going to make sure that we update the price for diazepam across the board so we don't undercharge anymore.
We were happy customers and maybe we should have never talked with their business manager. We understand that running a 24-hour emergency facility costs more. But, we think that we are totally getting ripped off with the outrageous pricing for their drugs. It is generic Valium for goodness sake. It has been around since 1963. It isn't some new experimental cancer drug that can only be made by one company that owns the patent. Why
Tucson Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
is charging so much for this one drug is beyond my understanding. If it were not for this one drug pricing issue (which I clearly think they are wrong),
Tucson Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
certainly would have gotten an 'A' overall rating from us.

I've been to
Tucson Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
several times since my dog's first wellness check in Septemmber of 2012. Mostly, I've seen Dr Panzero and once or twice, Dr
Tucson Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. The doctors, techs and staff all are friendly and show a great deal of concern for my dogs's well being. They take all the time necessary to answer all my questions and freely share their wealth of knowlege. Since I live out of the city near the desert I am always asking questions about the various threats as well as the solutions to the sometimes nasty crittes that my dog can encounter. They always take the time to answer my quetions clearly and throughly. When my dog developed a couple of minor medical issues i was able to get in the same day and get them quickly and easily resolve. These are good people doing a good job.

We went to The clinic because we had just moved to Arizona and believed our dog had contracted Valley Fever. The first visit was very professional . However, on the second visit we got a different vet and she did not read our dogs chart. She had no idea why the dog was at vet. We will not go back.

My miniature Daschund had been passing out, not eating much, etc. I took her to see her regular vet, and after a week of ineffective treament with antibiotics, I took her to another vet for a second opinion. The second vet diagnosed severe anemia and enlarged spleen, and performed an emergency splenectomy. The next day, my dog was still in very bad shape, so the second vet recommended that I take her to the

Hospital. When I brought her in that day, she was having trouble breathing, her

were nearly colorless, and she was close to death. They immediately placed her in an oxygenated kennel and went over her recent medical history with me (there were a lot of records to read). My dog had IMHA, and the initial misdiagnosis by her regular vet almost caused her to

her life. At the vet hospital, they gave her transfusions and put her on a regimen of steroids to get her red blood cell count up to normal levels. She had to stay in the hospital for four days, and continue on the steroids for months afterwards, but she eventually made a complete recovery. I appreciated the fact that I was able to visit her twice a day while she was in the hospital. It comforted both her and me that I was able to go to the hospital twice a day and sit and hold her in a private room. I also appreciated the fact that the treating vet there called me each morning to give me an update on her condition and answer my questions. Everyone I dealt with at the hospital was very courteous and professional. The treatment was expensive, but it was worth every penny to me.

We had to bring the dog in on very short notice (1 hour) to have some bad cuts on the chest and legs sewn up. I do most of my own
Tucson Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
dog repairs (routine shots, nails, small wounds, etc.) but this required general anaesthesia and was well beyond my competence. They did a very nice job, came in under the estimated price, and there was no infection or any other problems requiring a follow-up visit.

Cat is Manx and was throwing up. Suspected she needed an enema. Had to pay for x-rays and blood tests. Vet wants to do more tests (for elevated white count) but I expect that problem is the cat needs teeth worked on. Vet could have figured out the problems without expensive tests. Cannot take a cat here without spending $200 minimum. Always recommends a long list of tests. Used to get a senior citizen discount (such as it was) but that is gone.
