"Called to arrange for locksmith service at our residence. When I explained the problem that we were having with our current lock setup, the owner kindly discussed with me the pros and cons of the locksmith service I had intended to hire him for. He then explained how I could easily address the situation without his assistance. Lastly he let me know he was more than willing to come out and assist, but that this would of course necessitate a service call charge. I was incredibly impressed. Rather than taking our money and performing services that could put us in a potentially unsafe situation, he took 15 minutes of his time to explain how to remedy the problem on our own at very little expense, if we so chose. I will call upon him again should we require assistance in the future."

We use one of those rooms as a study, and the tech left the old locks with us so that they can be changed back if we, or future homeowners, so desire. Not very complicated work, but no, we couldn't get the old locks off by ourselves.
