He was right to the point and up front. He was kind and was a good experience. He was great, but his staff lacks a little bit. They were on the ball with their billing.

As I was emerging from anesthesia, I was informed by a nurse as to what had happened during the procedure, but I was unable to remember what she had told me because I was still very groggy. I called Dr. Mezher's office on November 2, 2011 and left a message with the receptionist explaining that I had some questions for the doctor regarding the procedure, that I was unaware of what took place or what was seen, all I knew is that a biopsy was taken and I was unclear as to why, and I needed to speak with the doctor for some clarity. I hadn't hear back, so I left another message on November 4th. I still hadn't heard back, so I left another message on November 7th. Feeling very frustrated, I simply gave up hope of actually speaking with the doctor and now just wanted my biopsy results, which I was told would be available in 10 days. So I called on November 14th and the receptionist told me she would look into it and call me back. I hadn't heard back, so I called again on November 16th. I was told that the results were there, but I needed to wait for the doctor to evaluate them and call me back. I STILL hadn't heard back on November 21st, so I called once again, and was assured that I would get a call back that afternoon. Today is December 1st and I have never once received a return phone call from Dr. Mezher's office. I am angry and dismayed over my treatment from his office and felt that my complaint should go on record. I deserved an explanation of a procedure that required me to be put under, left me in pain, and that I considered significant. And in the least, I certainly deserve MY biopsy results.

This was my first visit. I would recommend them. They are really excellent and I got super care. They did follow up and they called after my procedure. They were terrific. They got me on the right medication and my stomach is feeling much better now. I hope I

Dr.
Tucson Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
is a fine gastroenterologist. I have seen him a couple times over the past 10 years. He is very professional and informative. However, his scheduling office is NOT, and once I finish this next appointment, I will not attempt to return for further work. It is now early May, 2010, and I've been trying to get through to someone to reschedule an appointment since early April. I had an appointment for a colonoscopy, but had to call to reschedule because of conflict, then again a second time when I had to go out of town. But every time I call to reschedule, it takes days and days (a minimum of 3) to get a call back from the scheduling office. If there's a weekend involved, you're looking at nearly a week for someone to get back to you. I am so frustrated, and I'm STILL waiting for a call back. I received a call about 5 days ago, but missed it because I was out of the house. I called them immediately as soon as I got back in the house. Guess what....? 5 days now and no returned call. I can only guess that the office staff is horribly overworked, understaffed, inconsiderate or incompetent. If I didn't like Dr.

from previous procedures, I wouldn't go back. Because of the office staff, I wouldn't even give them a try. Go elsewhere unless you never leave the house and have nothing but time on your hands to wait for calls. (Would you believe I'm actually a kind of "

It went much better than I expected. As anyone who has undergone this procedure will tell you, the days prior are the worst b/c you have to wean yourself from food and then drink the stuff that cleans out your colon. I would say the final 12 hours of that are unpleasant. Then you go in, they sedate you, you wake up and it's all over. The doc gave me pics; very cool. I am good to go for another 10-15 years!
