The staff was amazing! So knowledgable and friendly. I visited the clinic prior to making the appointment just to make sure the place was nice and very clean. I went for my puppy's second round of puppy shots today, and walked out feeling very happy and comfortable with the Dr. and staff!

Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
are the Best Guinea Pig and Rodent vets in Florida!!! My friends guinea pig had bilateral cystic ovaries. She was loosing hair on her sides and belly. Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
stayed through his lunch hour just so he could treat her guinea pig. I have been taking my guinea pigs to Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
for over 4 years. He has a special interest in rodents. He is very knowlegable but also listens to the owner. He and Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
understand the need for guinea pigs to be seen in a timely manner when they get sick. I have always been able to get an appointment on the day that I call except for one time when neither of them were in the office. They are exotic vets that do not charge exotic vet fees. Their fees to do oral surgery on a guinea pig are so reasonable that I thought at first they must of made a mistake on my bill. They and their staff are pure professionals who really do care about owners and their pets.

We recently rescued a kitten from a water retention area in October and decided to keep her. After careful consideration and my need for convenience due to a hectic travel schedule, I decided to have
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
Vet perform the initial examination. Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
showed up on time and in a vehicle equipped with everything you would find in a "brick and mortar" vet. They were outgoing, professional and more than patient in explaining the examination process. Since the initial visit, I have had Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
stop by for two follow-up visits and will continue to use their services. I have no doubt the kitten appreciates not having to be crated and hauled off to an office with barking dogs. They provide an excellent service!

I had taken my cat to a corporate/chain cat hospital for the last six years where I had the pleasure of meeting Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. She was able to properly diagnose my cat after a misdiagnosis by another vet. When I called the cat hospital this summer for an annual check-up and learned that Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
was no longer there, I did an internet
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and found out she had opened her own place. She was not allowed to contact her prior clients due to a non-compete clause and I was thrilled that my
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
found her new business. Since then, my 16-year-old cat has been diagnosed with feline kidney disease. I have been taking him for check-ups at
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and just yesterday, he had his first Sub-Q treatment. Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
showed me how to do the treatments at home and spent an incredible amount of time answering questions and showing me proper technique. Most important, I feel she truly cares about my cat. My cat is feeling wonderful today after his treatment yesterday and I cannot thank Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
enough for diagnosing him early and guiding his treatment so that I can enjoy him a little more. She is honest, genuine and her prices are very competitive. I highly recommend her practice for all the cat owners in the area.

I am SO very happy that I found Laps of Love! My 13 year old dog was ready to leave us, but I couldn't dream of taking him to the vets office. He never liked going there and the thought of that being the last place he would be was unacceptable to me.
The vet that came to our house was wonderful and caring, and made us feel good about what was happening. She took our baby with her, and said she would personally take him to the crematorium.
We received a card from the vet and another from the crematorium. They also sent a very nice poem which also included his name and the date of his passing.
I HIGHLY recommend Laps of Love when the time comes. It is worth any amount of money, but their prices were right in line with a regular vets office.

I have been meaning to write this report for
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
, but knowing that it will be a long one, I have been putting it off. It is lengthy because I want to provide you, the reader, some background information on the situation. In February of 2001, I attended the guide dog user class at Southeastern Guide Dogs Inc in Palmetto, Florida. On Valentine's Day I was matched with an absolutely wonderful little yellow lab named Mia. We formed an instant bond, and that bond would only grow stronger through the years. Mia was my first dog, and I had no real idea about how to care for a dog. The school required that, on our first week home, we establish a relationship with a veterinary clinic. I talked to several friends, and they recommended South Paw Animal Health. Well, I thought, why not. So I called them and set up an appointment for the first Thursday I would be home. Unfortunatelym Mia had other plans. She did not seem well on the Friday she arrived home, but everyone assured me that it was just stress and change of water and living situation. By Monday morning she was quite ill. I frantically called South Paw, and they advised me to bring her in. My father drove me there, and I had to leave her there among strangers, which was very upsetting to me. They called me at around noon to come pick her up. She had a severe case of ghiardia. I asked them if she could stay there because I had no idea what to do. They said that she would be better with me. When I arrived I met Dr. Vandenbrand, who very kindly and clearly exaplined the situation to me. He explained how I would need to give her several different kinds of medicines each day. The school had neglected to show me how to pill a dog, and so he showed me what to do. From that first experience with the kindness of the doctors and the office staff, I knew that Mia and I had found a vet home. In the passing years, my initial instincts proved correct. It was always a joy to go there. The love radiating from the staff towards the animals, and their concern for the owners and handlers were always there. From the discussions about the cats they took in to foster, and hopefully adopt out, to the placement of unwanted stray dogs, they showed a true devotion to the animals under their care. They were with me through Mia's pancreatic episodes, her lumps and bumps, her hip dysplasia and her regular monthly weigh ins and her twice yearly physicals. In April of 2011, I took a bunch of supplies down to Southeastern Guide Dogs, Inc. While there, the graduate services coordinator told me that it was time to retire Mia. I was devastated. Mia and I had been a team for over ten years. My neighbor agreed to adopt her, and so the school began the paperwork to enter me into class for a new dog. My coworkers were also saddened. They put together a retirement party for her during the last week of August,. On the day of her retirement, Mia became seriously ill. I called my father, and he came to pick us up from work. Mia had to be carried down on a mail cart. Everyone was a wreck. I called South Paw, and they said bring her right over. They were outside to help carry her in. For many years Dr. Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
had been her vet, but this time we had come full circle. Dr. Vandenbrand, who had seen her on her first visit, saw her that day. Upon examination, he told us that Mia had a mass on her spleen. He kindly but truthfully gave us the options. Since she had a fifty fifty
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
to have a good life, we opted for surgery. I left her there that day, not sure if she would survive or not. During the surgery and after it, Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
kept in touch with me and said she had come through it fine, and there were no apparent tumors. He had stated that if he had found any tumors, with my permission, he would have euthanized her while she was under. I had agreed to this. He also mentioned that all of the staff had gathered around Mia to pray for her in their own ways before the surgery. I was deeply touched. I received several cards and condolences from the staff. I was slated to leave for school on September 5. Each day after work I would go visit her and sit with her for a few minutes. Staff members, including the doctors and the vet techs, would come in and visit with us and tell us how she was doing. I also heard that many of them would just go back at various times and stroke her head and talk to her. I left for school, leaving Mia in the care of the staff and under the concern of my father and my neighbor, and all my church and work friends. The vet would call either me or my father and discuss Mia's progress, or lack of it, each day. My father and other friends would visit her also. Poor Mia would take one step forward and two steps back. They called in specialists, gave her transfusions, and did everything humanly possible to save her. They, like I loved her. I heard that some of the staff would even sleep at the clinic. Mia had a really bad day on September 8, and after talking to the vet, my father made the decision to have Mia euthanized. Two of the people she loved, Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and my father, were with her until the end. They sent some samples to the lab, and found out she had an auto imune blood disease. I was matched with an exuberant black and tan male dog named
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
. He is totally the opposite of my gentle, reserved Mia. He has visited South Paw a few times already, due to his penchant for eating things. Dr.
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
just shakes his head and says every dog should come with a zipper. The staff fuss over him, and say he is really a good looking dude. He gets his weigh ins each month. Some of the staff still talk about Mia, and what an old soul she always was. I pray that
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and I will have many years together. I hope that South Paw will be around for a very long time. I cannot imagine taking any of my guide dogs to any other vet clinic. These are really special people who work there. Their caring and love of animals just shines through. Mia,
Tampa Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
and I are so fortunate that we found such a wonderful place to go staffed by such truly loving and committed people.

They performed the emergency procedure promptly. I did have to take her back in a couple of days later when swelling of the wound was pulling the cut open. A few more staples over the wound and she was fine. I returned approximately one week later for the staples to be removed. She recovered without any other complications. This vet practice is the one I use for my dogs routine care.

I like them. Every time I make a reservation, they are always open. They come and play with your dog, the first time when you check in; they get to know him. They give my dog a place to play. I would use them in the future.

Our vet has taken care of the dog for about seven years. We left him in there two years ago for a long trip. They do all of the necessary shots. When we call for appointments, they work us in.
