"The initial inspection was extremely thorough and informative on prevention, and he patiently answered all of my new homeowner questions and explained what my plaster bagworms were and how I could get rid of them. He identified my old termite damage. On the more recent inspection I presented the evidence I'd found of what he confirmed were drywood ...more termite droppings. Again he was very informative on how slow these are to cause damage, how to avoid the scare tactics of some other companies and pricing fluctuations of treatment during wing season. He gave me a reasonable price for spot treating the affected area. I wasn't comfortable that that inspection had been thorough enough and didn't want to be spot treating another area later, so (after procrastinating) I contacted another local company that two of my neighbors use for a second inspection/opinion on the munchers. The other company didn't do anything more convincing in terms of finding live activity, and based on the entire experience, I'm more convinced that Mr. Wisdo and Impact knows what they're doing and is all about delivering only what you need at a fair price (the other company's spot treatment would have been FIVE times the cost of Impact's! How is that possible?) Termite treatment is a black box issue for most laymen, but I appreciate Mr. Wisdo's level-headed, conservative approach over the slick sales jobs, gimmicks and --most importantly-- an inability to confirm alleged live activity on the part of the other company's inspector!"

"Nick (the owner) called back when he said he would, came out to perform a detailed inspection (house, attic, crawlspace) and provide an estimate, and was exactly on time. He clearly explained the entire process. His price was actually the lowest quote that we obtained. Nick and his crew arrived to tent our house at the agreed ...more date/time, and went to work immediately. Very quick and efficient. They were meticulous about keeping the inside of the house clean, protecting shrubbery outside the house, and sealing the tarp properly against the ground for best results. The following day after removal of the tarp, his crew ventilated the house, cleaned up all debris, and restored the landscape ground cover to original condition. We have had the house tented in the past, by other companies, who ended up leaving piles of dirt outside, or left metal tarp clips in the lawn, or failed to seal the tarp correctly, resulting in quick re-infestation. It was a revelation to see someone do the job right. We saw zero evidence of termites over the following year since the treatment by Magnum. At the one-year followup point, Nick

came back out to re-inspect the house, and he personally checked the house, the attic, and the crawlspace under the house. Magnum will re-tent the house if termites are found, per their warranty service. (This differs from my past experience, where a prior re-infestation was simply treated with a 10-second spray of insecticide by another company.) During the attic termite inspection, Nick observed a possible electrical wiring problem and brought this to our attention. This was an example of his interest in going above and beyond expectations."
