Ophthalmology Reviews in Tampa

Excellent!! Dr
and staff have been my providers for eye care for many years, regular routine checks, contacts, glasses,
surgery, cataract surgery. Many years of excellent service! Would highly recommend!!!

If someone is not able to get a good prescription for their eyes, they specialize in eye care. They were going to do the surgery and I said I wanted to get a prescription for new glasses, and because of this, I didn't need the surgery at that time. I was able to hold off and just use the glasses. I would consider going back to St.
's for new glasses. I had a problem with them because I didn't do the whole procedure. They used my credit card number without telling me and then sent me the bill. I would still use them in the future.

Ophthalmology reviews in Tampa

He was referred to me by my previous retina specialist. He is wonderful. He has an office in Lakeland and Tampa. He sent me to Tampa because he found the same problem I had in

and he thought I should have more tests in Tampa. This is an ongoing problem and I will see him every 6 months. He was pretty nice and professional. He was pretty much on time and I had no complaints. Everything seemed satisfactory and everyone seemed very nice but I haven't seen him that much yet.

was referred to me by a friend who has used him for years, and my visit went smoothly and professionally. Scheduling was easy, and my wait time was minimal (both for scheduling and during the office visit). I was prescribed reading glasses about 15 years ago by another doctor, but rarely wore them. Dr.

gave me a new prescription, but indicated my need for glasses was minimal. He gave me a prescription in case I wanted them, but told me there wasn't much need to spend on glasses. This was a nice change from many offices that push you straight into their own sales departments.

I had to go through a field of vision test for 20 minutes by myself. While I was doing this I had trouble concentrating because her two children kept running in and out. I let one of the ladies know in case it effected the results and she said not to worry about it. She wanted to schedule me to come back for a baseline test that wasn't necessary. I wasn't sure how much it would cost and no one else knew either. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment anyway. I tried to call before the appointment to find out how much it would cost and no one would tell me. I ended up cancelling the appointment since no one knew how much it was going to cost. In March, I got a letter in the mail that I had to pick up at the post office because it required a signature, that she was dropping me as a patient because I cancelled an appointment. I have never heard of this before. I cancelled way in advance. I wish they would have called me or been more personable about the situation. I was very angry about the whole thing.

I have been near sighted my whole life. I had monovision

in 2000 and in 2005 had trauma to my right eye (long distance) and my vision got worse. After two years of conservative treatment I had PRK on this eye with Dr.

He did a good job, professionalism. His personality isn't very dynamic. I had two cataract extractions with him, and everything turned out fine. I'm happy with the work. His staff is a little too Republican for me, but that's alright.

I had used it many years ago, and it was my primary place, until they quit taking insurance. A couple of years ago, something got in my eye and I had to go there in an emergency. It was almost 6 o?clock on a Friday evening, and they were able to fit me in. They took the insurance too. The doctor is only there one day a week, and the surgery was done at a different place, but it was still done through them. They are the only place I know in town where I can get real medical eye care. They fit glasses but they are real doctors. Fitting eye glasses is not what they do primarily. Sometimes, the wait is pretty long. I have never had a problem trying to get an appointment with them. I am having a little bit of a problem with my recent eye surgery, but I

?t know if I can blame it on them. I have not had a problem with the billing and administration aspect. I plan to continue using them in the future.

He is wonderful. I love him. I see him every three months. He listens and he is very thorough. I am very pleased with the way he treats his patients. The other ophthalmologists that I have been to are not as good as he is. He takes his time with me. He seems to care. I have been going to that office for several years. He has been in the office for the last three years. I have never had an emergency, but I am sure that if I did, he would see me right away. His office is very large. His staff is very professional. I will continue to use his services in the future.

She has spotted things for me that none of the other eye doctors had and I was able to get some follow up checking done. She was very thorough, more so than I was used to for most of the ophthalmologist. I think the difference was that she is an actual MD and she was very thorough.
