. While his quote was on the low end of the estimate range, we found a company that was $100 cheaper. Eventhough we didn't use their services, I would recommend the company to friends."

"I saw his ad in Angie?s magazine. We set up initial appointment for him to look at the property, take some photos. He spent over an hour, generously giving us advice and suggestions. He returned in a couple weeks with a proposal. In the interim, he offered many websites and web photos of possible plants for our yard. When he gave us the initial plan ...more and I didn?t like some of his suggestions, he readily changed them to plants equally as good. He came out again with the installer, with whom he has an excellent, working relationship, thus building immediate trust for installer. The final part of the project, installation, is going well."

"When they did the initial job, they charged the fee for the job. Now, they charge us $260 per month. We are still waiting for things to change with regards to them. Hence, it is too early for us to recommend them. We hope that they change their quality. We believe that they have good intentions. The guy promised to do something that he didn?t do. At this point, we are not sure that he knows a lot about gardening. We are sure he knows things about maintenance, but definitely not about gardening. We believe the company we use must be knowledgeable. We will wait for a couple of months to see how he does. We also think that he is overpriced. He isn?t professional either. At this point, with the knowledge we have, we will not use this company for any project in the future. "

" was walking around the neighborhood the week before and had spoken to me about our trees needing some trimming work. He gave me an estimate on the spot and explained what needed to be done. It really was perfectly timed as we were thinking about having this done soon in preparation for hurricane season; not to mention one of ...more the trees, a pine, was dropping needles all over part of the roof of our home. He had said that they would be in the neighborhood on Wednesday and left me with a flyer. I called them on Tuesday saying that I wanted to go ahead and schedule them to trim our trees. He said he'd call back to confirm the date. When we got home from running errands that Tuesday, they were already there working - like 12 guys all over our property - a veritable hive of activity. They were there for a good 40 minutes and had even cleaned up the pine needles from the roof. They also gave us information that the big webs in our pecan tree weren't bad and didn't need to be cut out (apparently, they're worms/spiders that assist in pollination). Overall thoughts: they were quick and professional and reasonably priced (another tree company had given us an estimate of $350 for 2 trees). They moved plants and chairs out of the way in the back of the house and didn't leave a mess of tree trimmings at the end of it. Chairs and plants weren't returned to their places, but that didn't bother me that much as we're still constantly rearranging back there."
