"He started by trimming back hedges, removing an fixtures, and pressure washing the house. He removed some old wood decorative molding and placed stucco on the bare concrete beneath. He completed the painting portion over three days with detailed taping and plastic coverings. Then placed all our fixtures back and even added some new ones we had pruchased."

came out and provided a quote based on my requirements. He made several helpful suggestions and was very up front about when he could start and how long the job would take. I told him that I would like to be finished by end of April and he said that he would do his best but there were several jobs ahead of mine and of course the schedule would also depend on the weather. came out with and on April 21 and did a complete walkthrough to insure that we were all in agreement on what needed to be done. and showed up each day when they said they would be here and best of all worked hard the entire time they were here each day. And every afternoon before they left, they cleaned up the site. I would meet with them briefly each morning to point out anything that I had noticed and to ask any questions that I had. I had very few issues throughout the course of the job and they promptly responded to each. They were very meticulous, real craftsmen who obviously took pride in their work, and I was well pleased with the result. And they were able to finish the job on May 2 which was within my time frame (with pad). On the last day of the job, came out and did a complete walk through to insure that the job was up to his standards. I provided with a punch list (very short). I had to leave for a few hours and when I returned, was gone and everything on the punch list had been done. JSL was neither the least or most expensive contractor that I looked at and I am confident that the others would probably have also done a quality job. But I am very comfortable with my decision and would certainly use them again. I would highly recommend JSL to anyone who needs a high quality painting contractor."

" is the owner of . He is one of the top guys. I needed painting to be done to the outside of my house and got a guy for me who I think works for him and he did the painting. He did a great job. He was very good. He came by himself. He is very personable guy. He told me that he does constructions as well, but I don't know what exactly he does. What he did for me that was a good job. He was always on time. I would hire him again for other things and painting in the future."

"The experience is very positive. Our initial call was acted upon immediately. visited and gave us a rough idea what would been to be one and then recommended an engineer. The engineer arrived promptly and submitted the report. Within days, workers were here. In two days they had completed the job. We did have to call them back for a slight adjustment to a piece of siding that had popped but they came and took care of it immediately. There could be some improvement in customer service by the office staff especially when it comes to obtaining the checks for payment. I know it is important to them and I am sure some people do not always pay on time; however, those of us who have shown we are not like that should be treated with a little more trust. On the whole the a great experience."

"I was happy with the estimate with given by the Company and the time frame of when they would start and finish the job. The person that came out walked around the house and told me where the problem areas were going to be. He pointed out some things that I should take care of. Before he came out to paint, some of the old planking in the garage had to be replaced. Also we have a balcony up in the front that?s been a problem since we bought the house which needs to be replaced too. So, he was here for a good while and went about the house to take measurements to probably determine how much paint is required and how much it would cost. He also talked to me about colors and primers. I thought he was very pleasant. He was mannerly and very professional. I had a good about what he was saying as I have had the house painted a couple of times before. I felt good about hiring him. My overall experience up to now has been excellent and I would recommend him. "

"At first there wasn't enough contact, such as letting me know my emailed contract had been received. When I asked for more updating they were fine about letting me know when painters would arrive. I would say personnel were cooperative, pleasant and laid back. Work took a little longer due to wind and rain, but results are good. I am very pleased with the appearance of the work, and found the personnel adaptable to some minor changes that improved the original plan. Thanks."

"Interior job was left unfinished and interior was painted with the same paint used for exterior (didn't match interior). Company owner was somewhat responsive to complaints and eventually finished the job."

" is a true professional. I would highly recommend and his company. Unlike most other vendors we used for our apartment renovation, was proactive in calling to confirm all appointments. He was also punctual and started and finished the job on time (it took 6 days). did a great job on taking down the popcorn and applying a "knock down" finish. They did a great job on installing the crown molding and on smoothing out the botched dry wall patching that the contractor left. They did an excellent job painting the entire apartment as well.
Our apartment was filled with refuse (e.g., old interior doors that we had replaced but that the contractor had not yet removed) and it made the job very difficult for 's guys to paint around. They were nice enough to condense the refuse into a manageable pile that they then worked around. They left the apartment far cleaner than they found it (which is rare for painters or any contractor).
After 's team was finished, he came back to do a walk-thru with my husband so that he could do the minor touch ups that a job this size would invariably have. Sure enough, the very next day (as he promised), 's team was there to take care of all the touch up areas.
Under the category of "no one is perfect" the only very minor area that was a bit less than stellar was the painting in my shower area. It is an extremely small bathroom (one of the smallest I've ever seen) and I know that makes for a very difficult paint job. There were some areas where the paint job didn't quite hit the (some missed nooks and crannies and some paint on the wall tile). I don't think my husband pointed those out to and if he did and is reading this, I suspect my phone will ring and will offer to come back and make it perfect.
I'm a VERY tough customer in that I set high standards for people (especially when I'm paying them big bucks). and his company did not disappoint. I would highlt recommend them unconditionally. They're worth the money."
