Tampa Dentists Reviews

"I didn't like the way they cleaned my tooth; they use water cleaning machine that I drank some of the dirty water even though they sucked the water; it was just too much water in my mouth. Also, this was second time to go there because they didn't finish cleaning my tooth on the first visit in Feb for whatever the reason but they billed my insurance company as 2nd clearing for this year so I can even do one more this year. I will find someone else in the future."

"He was excellent and so was his staff. I would highly recommend. I will be returning in August for my 6 month check up. NOTE: His office is on

"Dr.
Tampa Dentists Provider Name Locked
's office was able to get me in pretty quickly, I believe it was within a few days of me phoning.
Her waiting room seemed very outdated, but not unprofessional and this is not something of much value to me.
There were pages upon pages of medical history and insurance information to complete. I've been filling out a lot of paperwork since I just moved my family of 5, so this is becoming a regular thing for me, but this seemed extreme for a dental cleaning.
The exam room was windowless, drab and possibly unclean. There were a pair of what looked to be old rubber scrub gloves hanging from the cupboard below the tiny sink and they looked really worn-over; never did figure out what they were for.
Surprisingly, Dr.
Tampa Dentists Provider Name Locked
completed the entire exam herself, including the cleaning. I've never had a dentist do this before. From the conversation between her and the receptionist, it seemed they were a little short-handed that day. Dr.
Tampa Dentists Provider Name Locked
seemed entirely professional, but she acted as though in a hurry and as a result, she was quite aggressive with her cleaning and my
Tampa Dentists Provider Name Locked
bled profusely. I had to signal several times for her to stop so that I could rinse out. She set up a suction tube in the corner of my mouth and kept instructing me to just let it run during the entire cleaning, rather that using water to rinse the area or let me close my

or move the suction tube around.
The cleaning I received was quite unpleasant. During the exam, she noted that I had two sealants that were coming loose. I have had these sealants for over 20 years and I suspect that it was the aggressive cleaning I had just received that loosened them.
I hate to give a negative review, but I would have preferred to try someone else and I won't be returning or having any of my family members return.

"I was able to make an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. The office was clean and comfortable. The staff was kind, professional and friendly. They ran on time and were efficient without making me feel rushed. I really appreciated that they respected my time. Dr.
Tampa Dentists Provider Name Locked
answered all my questions and gave detail where warranted. I appreciate his conservative approach which entails watching areas which may need treatment and paying attention to signs that treatment may be necessary."

"Dr.
Tampa Dentists Provider Name Locked
did a great job. The exam uncovered a problem with my existing crown that had been installed 25 years before. Dr.
Tampa Dentists Provider Name Locked
's prompt diagnosis allowed to to just get a replacement of the crown and I avoided needing a root canal. She also did a great job with the replacement procedure (giving me the proper sedation to avoid any pain during the procedure.
Dr.

is a true professional and I continue to be her patient.

"We have had good service with them. They have multiple locations in the Tampa area. I have always had excellent care from the dental staff. Their front staff is very efficient. They process your insurance. They take care of approvals. I've never seen a bill because it has always been handled by their staff, which is great. It's a very smooth process. I think they work very hard to do it. I have been with them for years."

"The building's interior has all the bells and whistles to include modern furnishings, which makes one feel this is a 'top end' office. The examination room holds two chairs which it takes only one patient to turn around and see the other's patients information on their screen. Also, since the chairs are separated by only a tall bookcase which houses the xray machine, you can hear the staff and dentist discuss care with the patient. When I asked about the coverage estimation of new insurance, they had the front desk
Tampa Dentists Provider Name Locked
come and rather than share the information about the question asked. She expressed how important is was for me to get all the treatment done. Really? Thanks but that wasn't your sphere of duty. That is but one example. The cleaning was intense due to deep cleaning needed but I realized the pain I was having was the pressure of hygiensist hands resting on my mouth not the actual cleaning. I was going to mention it to her but after 45 minutes of it, I was ready to get out of there and figured another few minutes didn't matter. With that I trust the hygienist recommendatiion but questioned the dentist as she came in after the cleaning and continued to ask what sounded like 'leading' questions. I did NOT use their recommended prescription that they tried to bill me for an $8.00 tiny bottle, but went to pharmacy and received bigger bottle. I was surprised to read the printout of what this mouthwash was. I went home and diligently used a water pick 3x a day after every meal with faithful flossing. I went to another dentist to check the gum pockets and received excellent examination. Lastly, I was irritated that when the front desk handed me my treatment plan, the information showed my FULL SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER along with other personal information printed on all pages! What if I had not known this and dropped that paper somewhere before got home or worse had my car broken into before I went home to file it. Identity theft is high in this day and age and that only made it easier.

"We waited a long time to get in, but because it was an emergency they probably were making room for us. It took the best part of 45 minutes to get there, fill the paperwork, and have an appointment. It was our first time there. I like their staff and the rest of it. I like my other pediatric dentist better. I haven’t been billed there yet."

"At the risk of being too blunt: If you're afraid of the dentist, this is the place for you. I don't think they do the sedation thing for a regular cleaning (although I could be wrong -- I didn't ask), but they are so patient. They do an examination of your teeth on the first visit, checking your teeth and

and taking xrays and photos, so they know what type of cleaning you need --basic, or focused on a specific problem. This strikes me as a good healthcare/business practice, but it also gives you a
Tampa Dentists Provider Name Locked
to meet everyone and get a little relaxed without being poked too much. I have "boring" teeth (I never would have thought "boring" could be a compliment) so I just needed a regular cleaning, and we scheduled it.
Honestly, I have always been a white-knuckle dental patient -- I'll go when I need to, because I like having teeth, but I dig my nails into my
Tampa Dentists Provider Name Locked
and scrunch my eyes closed, and barely dare to breathe. That scraping sound makes my skin crawl, and I always feel like the cleaning will send my teeth flying across the room. But they have a tv and music, and even headphones if you want them, for distractions. And -- this is the great part -- they have this water blaster that scrapes the plaque off your teeth, instead of that awful metal scraper that makes you cringe (or me, anyway). They have a laser thingy to check for cavities, too, instead of poking. And instead of the nasty polisher, they have a different salt water blaster that polishes your teeth beautifully and doesn't taste like sandy play-doh. Dr
Tampa Dentists Provider Name Locked
and everyone who works there are really friendly and very professional, and they make you very comfortable and less nervous -- and make sure you're getting the treatment you need.
I'm not going to lie, it's still the dentist. And I'll probably still have butterflies in my stomach next time I go, just like I did this time. But really, no scraping! Nothing hurt, and I didn't even dig fingernail holes in the arms of the chair. That means I definitely recommend them!

"I've been using them for 2 years. They do fantastic work. The dentist is gentle. He understands that patients have anxieties going to see dentists. He does sedation dentistry which is fantastic. I will continue to see them."
