"They did a great job. I had a very small gallery kitchen. They knocked down a wall and opened up the kitchen, dining room and the living room area. They really did a very good job from start to finish."

"This was a second good experience with . Bill, and the Team did a great job with our soffit and facia and we decided to ask them to take care of this project also. I'm glad I did not attempt this project. worked h****** the glass removal which had obviously been in place for several decades and there is no way that I could have finished this off the way they did. In these days with HGTV and having several good home improvement stores available, it might be tempting to take on some home improvements on an old house in an effort to save money. My home is a good example of one that had several repairs done by prior homeowners who may have taken on more than they could handle. My skills are limited and so is the time available for repairs to my old house. can work on older homes and that is something that not every company is willing or capable of doing. These guys have taken care of a large job (soffit and facia) and this project (replacing window with door) and they've been easy to work with, friendly, clean, performed the task as agreed to completion at a very reasonable price. My wife and I are very pleased with the end product."

" was very professional from start to finish. They were so honest that the first time they were here, in the spring of 2009, their agent advised that our old roof could easily last another year or more. A year later, when insurance company age limits mandated a replacement, we went with this company's competitive estimate. They showed up on schedule and were very polite and efficient. They completed every detail agreed upon (and a couple of minor repairs we hadn't even expected), and they left no mess or hazardous nails. (On completion, the foreman personally scoured the ground and the street in front for the latter.) They also provided and completed the forms and photo documentation we needed to get a several hundred dollar a year discount on our homeowner's insurance that will significantly offset the expense of our great looking new roof in the coming years. We couldn't be happier."

" came highly recommended to me from my Realtor. My purchased condominium had a closed galley style kitchen and breakfast nook. Once I had a good idea of what needed to be done, 's price was much better than other estimates I received. We made some modifications to the plan once the work was started that added a bit of cost to the project. The electrical estimate provided was an allowance. The actual electrical work was a few hundred dollars higher. communicates very well by either email and/or telephone. He is extremely professional and uses reputable subs to perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc. I would not hesitate to recommend for any remodeling effort. Bottom line is that provided great value for the work completed. "

"Responded quickly to request for estimate, kept in touch regarding scheduling and confirming when job would be performed and did work on time. Price was good."

" was extremely professional and arrived on time. He performed all of the requested services in a meticulous fashion, with great attention to detail. I was extremely pleased with the finished result of each project. He came by ahead of time and reviewed each request and then provided me with a written estimate for charges and materials. Overall I was extremely pleased. As a final example, for a broken door handle that he couldn't repair, he called the manufacturer and arranged for a new mechanism to be provided by them to fix the problem - way above and beyond what we had discussed."

"I had contacted DLF to have the soffits redone and vinyl put on the wood portion of our mostly stucco house and to have the stucco portion of the house painted. They sent Marv from , to give me an estimate for the non-painting part of the work and I paid him directly upon completion of the work. The previous owner had installed plywood and stucco over a portion of the two rectangular front windows to give an appearance of arched windows. This plywood was visible and unsightly from the inside of the house and reduced the light coming into the house so I wanted it removed and the stucco repaired. Initially, I had just intended to have the soffits replaced and the wood portion of the house vinyl clad. However, Marv explained that some reframing in front would improve the appearance of the. I went with and DLF instead of the other bidder (even though the bid was higher) because Marv took the time to suggest the reframing and explain how it would help the house look better. He was certainly right on that regard. He was very flexible on how I wanted the framing and window work done, letting me know what he intended and making sure that I was in agreement especially when there was more than one option on how things could be done. Both he and his helper were polite and courteous and came when they said that they would. I thought that some of the finer detail work on the vinyl could have been pieced together a little bit better, but in general I was satisfied with the job and it made a tremendous improvement in the look of the house, especially after the painting was done. Once Marv left, I noticed that some of the drywall had come down from the ceiling in the garage on the opposite side of the wall from where they were working. He said that there was nothing that they did that could have caused this and it cost me $200 to get it repaired. I t know if it was a result of their working on the other side of the wall or not, but if not, it was real coincidence. Other than that, it was a good experience. "

"After a really BAD experience with another Bay area contractor (report NOT submitted to ), we bagged the idea of a renovation for about a year. Once we braved it again, I thoroughly researched options by speaking with friends, neighbors and checking out Angie's List. I called a few companies and was obviously one of them. The first thing that impressed me? A real person answered the phone, took my name and number and within about 30 minutes, I got a call back from Z. He has a great personality, put me at ease immediately and really LISTENED to me, even my concerns that I shared regarding previous bad experiences with "other" contractors. I made it pretty clear up front that if he couldn't deliver, we weren't interested. We'd been that route before. Since I liked him on the phone, we set up a meeting at my house. Listen to this, folks: He was ON TIME! Even early (scored points!)!! He looked over the kitchen and again LISTENED to us. Shortly thereafter, we decided to hire him once we checked up on his references. The best one "If you don't hire this guy, you're a fool. He's not like other contractors." I couldn't agree more. From the get go, was GREAT with communication. I am not joking when I say that he would call me back within 15 minutes of leaving a message on his cell phone EVERY TIME. WITHOUT FAIL. And email? He's a gem. Promptly returns email and if he can't track you down by phone at one number, he'll typically try 2 or 3 other numbers (work, cell, home) to be sure he stays in touch. He came with us to select all cabinetry, hardwood floors, and granite (about 3 1/2 hours of his time at his recommended vendors...great suppliers who really are customer focused), helped me with recommendations for plumbing fixtures, tile, lighting, paint (did on my own). has an expectation that the customer will "do his/her homework" to keep the process flowing. As long as we kept up, he was happy and jobs got done, in a shorter time than anticipated. His crew is totally professional, hardworking, and they keep the job site clean! was a fantastic painter and unbelievably courteous and , the tile and do-everything guy, is a ! I love . He went out of his way to out glass tile backsplash in a design he'd never done before that really challenged him, but he did it without complaint. In fact, they even redid our tiled entry way which had been falling apart b/c of a BAD contractor job with original construction. I asked if he'd tack that on to the job. He quoted over $1000, when it came in at $750, guess what? He charged us the $750.00. I was floored. was willing to address each and every concern that I had regarding the job as it went on. His team was always on time or early, stayed late as needed, and addressed concerns that came up even once the job was done and all money changed hands. His payment setup is fair, he's honest, and a great business man."

"I really enjoyed working with the kitchen designer, . She had been the designer on my kitchen remodel, and I wanted her to do my bathroom. She took my ideas and made them better. The new kitchen cabinets /bath showroom is great, and has a lot more to choose from than the home improvement centers. I was able to get my same cabinets and quartz countertops, as I have in my kitchen, but for the bathroom."

"Excellent!!! I am so pleased with their work. Beginning with the estimate down to the last piece of vinyl everything really went well. The installer that came to my house was . What a great guy! He really knows his job. He works steady and makes it look effortless. At the time of the estimate, I explained how I wanted to have some wiring that ran around the to be covered up. The electric pole that goes through the soffit was fitted with a metal cover all the way up to the soffit so you don't see a pole going up the house and straight through the soffit. There were no rough corners. Everything just looked perfect. A truly pristine job! I like to stay home and periodically watch the work being done. They said they would replace rotten wood and, boy, did they! They did not try to get away from replacing wood. Everything they said they would do was done and I couldn't be happier the way this project turned out. I can't say enough about what an excellent company this is. Every time I spoke to the owner and his office assistant, they were very courteous and friendly. They do not just send whoever they can get to do a job. has been an installer with this company for 13 years!"
