"I had priced carpeting with a firm that worked regularly with my general contractor. For the two rooms involved plus their closets, they provided a price of approximately $2000 for a 50 carpet over 8lb pad. I looked on Angies List and saw Flooring and sent an e-mail. responded within ...more an hour and through our discussion, it sounded like his prices were better, so we scheduled to visit their showroom. During our visit, we looked at books of samples and then went into the warehouse, where we found two rolls of carpet in the exact colors we wanted. When they priced the carpet and install, it ended up being $400 under the first estimate. Then, when they added their Angies List discount, it was just over $600 less expensive! We were flabbergasted. The salesman scheduled to come and measure our house two days later and was there precisely on time. He measured and confirmed the number of yards we needed, and I wrote them a check for 1/2 of the cost. The install was scheduled for the following Saturday. Saturday morning, the installer arrived and spent nearly 6 hours installing the carpet, but did a fantastic job. One negative note was that the person who cut the carpet at the warehouse had cut the measurement so close that the installer had to create 4 seams in our bedroom. He came with us to select all cabinetry, hardwood floors, and granite (about 3 1/2 hours of his time at his recommended vendors...great suppliers who really are customer focused), helped me with recommendations for plumbing fixtures, tile, lighting, paint (did on my own).

was willing to address each and every concern that I had regarding the job as it went on. His team was always on time or early, stayed late as needed, and addressed concerns that came up even once the job was done and all money changed hands. His payment setup is fair, he's honest, and a great business man."
