"
and his assistant did a great job for me; fast, on time, thorough, professional, and very fair. We had a scheduling conflict on the first scheduled date, and" they gave me an additional discount, without even asking, because of the inconvenience. Who does that these days??!! They went above and beyond what I expected. I will definitely use them again and recommend them. I give them an A+++++ rating!

"I called at 7:30am and technician
was at my home at 10:00 am. He was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He quickly diagnosed the problem I had called" about and while here, also discovered an issue I was not aware of. The clothes agitator was not agitating correctly. He was able to fix it right away. He also provided education on the effect the various wash cycles have on the life of the machine. I will definitely call this company again should I need appliance repair.

"We were told that the operating panel was unfortunately breaking on many washers, and our model was the newest one that was going bad. The technician ordered the new part, gave us a" temporary fix so the washer was still usable, and came back when promised to install the new part.

If the ducts are venting through a window I'm assuming the duct work is all easily accessible.  Lowe's and Home Depot sell a cleaning kit that uses an electric drill to spin the brush as it goes through the ductwork.  I've found it to work quite well and you can do it yourself.  It may take a few passes the first time to get everything out if it has been a while since it was last cleaned.  Just make sure you get all of the loose lint out after running the brush through from both ends and you're good to go.  Please note that if the line is not hard but rather a flex duct line you can easily puncture a whole in it with this kit and will do better to clean it by hand.

As stated above, it can vary between companies.

Typically just an inspection implies you do not have a contract or agreement that may include discounts or free repairs.

With our company you would get the annual maintenace service that you should do every year, and if repairs are needed, they are extra, but you aviod paying a "service call charge" that would be related to most repairs, because you are paying for the "inspection" and we are already on site.

Inspections are often discounted in the slow seasons, and can usually be found advertised , at reduced prices , on Angie's List.

So consider Angie's List and find the best of the best in HVAC contractors!

I have never seen one of this type that does not exit the house. You would not want the grease dumping into your basement, even with a filter it will happen.

The greater part of your job will be carpentry as if there is a wall behind the stove a hole will have to be cut up through the basement into the wall up to the stove. Unless it is one of the stoves that allows for it to fit inside a cabinet below. To answer correctly most here would be a picture of where this project is being done. I have done motorized ones that extend up out of the counter when in use and then retract. Those exit through the cabinet and require the cook top is to the front of the counter and not a drop in one

As an added note these tend to be better as they do not pull the heat away from the stove top when in use as much as the ones flush with the stove. I have install quite a few and happen to have an Amana cook top with built in down draft and I have to shut it of to get water to boil on the back burners.

A carpenter will know what can be cut and what not in the basement, a sheet metal contractor should know as well but at the other end for the finish by the stove they might not. Most carpenters that do kitchens have installed the minimal amount of duct work for this. They just have to be carefull with the number of ellbows and the lenght of the duct.

They first scheduled a time and didn't show. When I called I got a voicemail and no call back until 4 pm the next day. They claimed that they called and came to the house with no answer. This was impossible as not only were all 7 of us home, but we live in a gated community that requires the gatehouse to call us and of course, there was no call....More /> They then rescheduled for the next day (now 2 days later) and when the tech arrived, he was nice enough but spoke limited english. He was at the home no more than 20 minutes, put his hand in the disposal, put some acid powder in the dishwasher and left. He said that we could use bleach in the future for the smell (reason we called).
Within a day, the smell had returned but I didn't want to call back that same company.
I would not recommend using this company.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service of this company. The repair person arrived within the time frame I was given. He asked me several questions about where the leak was appearing. He quickly diagnosed the problem and showed me the evidence on why he came to the conclusion that he did. The lint plug had come loose and it needed to be secured more tightly. While it was something I may have eventually been able to find myself, I was very happy to pay the fee to give me peace of mind that my machine wouldn't leak into the apartment below me. I will definitely use this company again...and refer them to anyone who might need their service.

The technician met with my wife, I was at work but I spoke with him on the phone and he was very cordial and on-time. My wife said he was extremely knowledgeable about ALL the appliances in our home and checked each of them (as I requested) for any additional fixes or recommendations he might have, all my appliances are 9 years old. Great service, great assistance with something I could not have done.

I had gotten a quote from "Big Name" appliance repair service, but had a feeling it was too high at $729. I considered upgrading to induction, but the prices on those ranges are still a bit over the top. So, I checked out appliance repair on Angie's List and found
Tampa Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
. Based on what "Big Name" listed as the needed parts, I got a price over the phone of ~$500. It was interesting that "Big Name" planned to use two separate 'infinite switches' that are now obsolete and no longer available, while charging more for the labor;
Tampa Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
used a single 'infinite switch' that required rewiring all four burners and the oven, and charged $50 less for labor.
Bottom line, it went VERY well, and I have found an appliance repair service I have confidence in!
Tampa Appliance Repair Experts Provider Name Locked
is honest, and has reasonable pricing.

arrived within 2 hours of my call. He was professional, knowledgeable and neat. He identified the problem immediately and went about solving. He communicated well with me and he did the work. Replacing a switch, control and cleaned coils for me. After having so many disasters in the past and a great deal of money wasted, he was a breath of fresh air. I would highly recommend them in the future.

After completing the assessment, he told me that things were wrong with my refrigerator that would cost more to fix than to replace.
He was very detailed in his explanation and I was very grateful for his honest opinion.
A very professional and knowledgable worker.

cleaned out some lint and put in new gliders (think of brake pads for a car) and a new felt strip. This should help the dryer last longer without problems.
