"The whole experience was excellent. Great workmanship, professionalism, and efficiency. Couldn't be happier that we chose to do the job. Each part of the experience was done timely, and we had certain time constraints they held to. Always courteous, receptive to our changes and requests, and upfront about costs. I would recommend this company whole-heartedly."

"This is the second time we've used 's crew and were very please by their work. They provided an estimate and assisted us in designing our patio given a challenging yard. When parts of the project weren't exactly as we've hoped they took our suggestions and gladly accommodated the small changes. Our project started only 4 days after our final estimate and was finished in three days.
We love our new patio and are very please, once again, by and his team!"

"We tore out our front and back garden upon moving into a new house in 2009. We contracted with a different vendor to do the hardscaping (fence, patio, purgola) as well as installing sod and outlining flower beds. We worked with to plan and plant the flower beds. She gave us a detailed plan, showing specific shrubs, perennials, and trees for specific locations in the garden. We appreciated that she is extremely open to our input and her approach promotes sustainability and native species.
and her assistant were very efficient in their use of time and got the whole back garden planted in under a day. Her hourly rate is very reasonable and the quality of the plants she buys is good. We will certainly be working with her again in the future as the garden matures and requires seasonal maintenance. "

"Right off the bat I'll say based on our experience with that if you have tree work to be done and live in their service area, is the company to call. We called for an estimate, got it the next morning and the work was done 5 days later. The speed of their response was in part to accommodate our schedule for roof and gutter work. The crew arrived on time, with all the necessary equipment and safety gear and went right to work. Everyone on the job knew what to do, when and how. Thorough professionals, they worked together like clockwork. Watching two men swing through the branches of our Maple tree was like a trip to the Big Top. Two crew members accommodated a request from some women -bys for two long slender pieces of wood they wanted for garden posts. The crew cut the pieces to size and carried them to their car. That was heart-warming. Members of the crew made sure that they had done the work to our satisfaction. All had such positive attitudes toward their work and us. This was the best experience with a tree company we have had in the last 30 years."

"We were satisfied with their work. We used them because our neighbors were using them, and we had no problem with them. They were very punctual and very responsive. The price seemed high to me, but I do not have much comparison and I would use them again. "

"He was here when he said they'd be here and the job was done professionally. is also a really nice guy.
I'm impressed with this company and plan to use them as a cleanup, snow, and mowing service for the next year."

"They are great to work with, and I love the new yard. The start date of the work was delayed because of the weather (I was one of the first spring jobs) but when they started they were able to complete the entire project in three days. Very friendly and helpful, answered loads of questions and made a couple of trips back to check on things."

"They came up with a good plan right away. They got all the work done with in a couple of days. They showed up on time to do the work for me. They were very courteous when they were there working."

"Excellent. It was April 2008 and we'd unexpectedly found out we needed to replace our entire sanitary sewer from inside the house all the way out to the middle of the street and that required tearing out the entire front lawn, steps/railing and sidewalks. So, we definitely needed someone to re-landscape after losing the entire front lawn, we'd be starting from scratch. arrived to give the estimate and answer questions. He is very professional, knowledgeable and polite. He heard what we wanted to have done and made other suggestions that were more cost effective than what we were thinking. Originally, we were going to have the retaining walls replaced after the old ones were removed. He explained how much more expensive that would be and suggested just regrading the front lawn and a few other suggestions. We were looking at over $15,000.00 just to put the retaining walls back without any other landscaping work being included in that price. His alternative suggestions saved us almost $12,000.00, which was truly appreciated. We scheduled the work to be done. thought it would take a week to complete the work. He showed up with the work crew and oversaw the project. They were on time, very courteous and professional. The one thing different about this company, if they are working on your project, your project is the only one they work on until it is completed to your satisfaction. They do not work on another person's project while working on yours. They work was completed in 2 1/2 days rather than one week. When one side of the flowerbed on one side of the house wasn't symmetrical with the other side, was out immediately with his crew to fix it to our satisfaction. We are so happy with the work. It is truly beautiful. Many people in the neighborhood stop to compliment how lovely the front lawn looks and we give out Bros. phone number at the request of the inquiries. We are having them come back and do a bigger project in our back yard in October."

" was very responsive initially. He followed up right away on my inquiry and set up an appointment to meet with me at the house. But right away I started to sense that was more interested in meeting a sales quota than understanding what I wanted and what was best for my property. For example, he recommended a landscape design that, in addition to being very expensive, would not work well with my very small, shady and urban yard. Also, he was not at all knowledgeable about native plants or environmentally-friendly landscape design (which is what I told him I wanted). Instead, he recommended the same plants that show up in just about every suburban yard in the Twin Cities area (nothing wrong with that -- if that's what you're looking for). His initial quote for the work was about $45,000 at which point I nearly fell off my chair (my yard is the size of a postage stamp seriously). When I asked if he was willing to scale back a bit and/or perhaps take a phased approach to having the work done, he seemed hesitant. I thanked him for his time and asked him to get back to me with several references. I never heard back from . My assessment of is this: They are only interested in clients whose project budget exceeds a certain dollar amount. If you have deep pockets and are willing to fork over the cash, they want you as a client. If not, don't expect a call back (but do expect to start receiving copious amounts of junk mail in the form of glossy, expensive marketing materials -- I finally had to call and ask them to take me off their mailing list). In asking around on my own, I did receive feedback from a former client of theirs who spent a significant amount of money on a landscaping project that did not go well. For example, a structural problem appeared in the hard-scape several months post-installation. After numerous phone calls and letters went unanswered, they gave up and hired another company to fix s mistakes. Whew!!! Glad I didn't hear back from after all! ($45,000)"
