He also gave additional tips on better insulation practices within the house beyond what the wall insulation would provide. He was friendly and helpful. We appreciated the conversation with him. The cost estimate was a bit more than what we expected. We had to wait a bit before scheduling the actual work, to get our finances in line for the additional costs. So we made an appointment for 6 months after the initial estimate request. The company person told us that there would be a 4% increase in the estimate for the time passed. This was disappointing, but we went ahead and got the job done anyway. The job was very well done. They were on time and did the job thoroughly. The cleanup after the work was done left something to be desired."

We received it in the mail just a few days after the house was inspected. The work begun on the day I requested and continued for 4 days in a row. The first three days were all prep work. Foam insulation used in some spots. Much insulated board and fiberglass mats used to insulate A/C ducts. Roof vents added as necessary. Cellulose blow-in to get to R-50. Length of the project was as expected. Caution was taken to minimize materials dirtying up the house. Thorough clean-up at end. Crew very cautious and knowledgeable. Pretty expensive job, but I think we got our money's worth."
