"I had come out a few years earlier to look at putting up a privacy fence. I would have gone with them, but my plans changed. Now I have a property with a wood fence which needs replacement, so I asked to come out for an estimate. She showed up promptly and was good about answering all my questions and ...more giving me my options. The bid I received from Artistic was close in price to the other bids I got. The only reasons I went with another company were longevity (years versus decades in employee tenure) and the perception that the materials the other company used were of somewhat higher quality. I probably would not have paid more than I did for the quality I got, but at the same price, higher quality is always good. Maybe Artistic can promote more the quality of the materials they use; otherwise, I would have been happy with the job they did."

"They came one day to the posts and 2 days later very early in the morning around 6am, startling my wife, but were done by 10am. We stained it ourselves to match the previous fence. When our other fence or deck deteriorate further, I will definitely call Landmark."

They verbally told me incorrect payment amounts, "forgetting" that the installers had already received my 2nd check. They sent me two final invoices with 2 different amounts - I was not given my "Angie's List" discount even though I reminded them multiple times. The installers were punctual and efficient. They were nice guys who did a good job. The fence was installed on two extremely

days, where they had to work quickly to beat the thunderstorms. Perhaps due to this, they were slightly careless with their clean-up - for days I was picking up big chunks of concrete (from old fence posts which were removed) and wood. Although my fence is quite nice in the end, I cannot give Landmark more then a "C" as an overall grade. The long delay in starting the project and the flaky office staff are pretty major problems. Maybe they have more business than they can handle, having been highly rated on "Angie's List" for a while. It seems they are really letting things slide & I hope they will take notice and make some improvements. I cannot recommend

was a big part of our decision to go with Landmark. Can t say enough good things about his professionalism. We were very pleased with the fence construction. The end product was beautiful. Everything was done per plan, including several tricky areas where they had to custom fit uneven corners. The posting crew found they had to cut through buried concrete. They called me first to inform me and gave me an estimate of the additional cost prior to cutting. Found two damaged posts after posting. The crew replaced one post and repaired the other without dispute. They were not the cheapest option, but would still highly recommend

They left all the stumps sticking out of the ground and claimed that their sales person didn't understand the limits on what they could do for it when she said they could remove it.
