"An ice dam caused heavy damage to our home's primary bathroom. Since we had to do extensive repairs, we decided to gut the room and do a full redesign as well. We interviewed several contractors before meeting , who finally got us started on the right path by referring us to an excellent interior designer. We interviewed a few more highly recommended remodeling companies before settling on - not only because of their competitive quote but also their extremely happy references.
The entire team demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a sincere pride in their work throughout the project. When we ran into difficulty with the insurance company, stepped in and provided support and as much detail as needed to work through that process. When we ran into significant unforeseen complications, went the extra mile to make everything right - upholding their high standard of quality, performing substantial additional work at no additional expense to us.
had their eye on the details (from the fixtures we had chosen to the quality of the tile) to steer us in the right direction throughout the process. The result is a BEAUTIFUL modern-but-vintage-style bathroom that fits the quality of our old craftsman home.
From a very hard-to-please customer: we highly recommend ."

" was the only one of four contractors to take the time and care to inspect the shower closely enough to find the small cracks around the drain and in other grout joints that could account for our problem. re-grouted those joints. We may still need to replace the shower...but I was impressed that looked for a less costly and less invasive solution first. was punctual, courteous and knowledgable. I would recommend ."

"The only bathroom in our house (built in 1947) was badly in need of repair/updating after 60+ years. We hired after interviewing him and several other contractors from Angie's list and we are very happy with our choice. After a poor experience with another contractor on a kitchen upgrade 6 years ago we knew what we were looking for in terms of build quality, attention to detail and communication. We also had a pretty good idea of what we wanted in terms of design but needed some help with the details. exceeded our expectations in almost every respect. He and his crew (when he had additional help) were on time to the minute. The construction area was cleaned-up throughly at the end of every day. He communicated a rough schedule up-front and then updated us daily as to his progress and/or any schedule changes of which there were few. He listened to our ideas and, if he felt there was a better way to do something, explained why. The quality of his and his sub-contractors work was outstanding. He did all of the tile work--floor and wall--himself, including a detailed custom border, and it looks great. While our bathroom is not very large any project like this which included sealing off a hallway and taking space from an adjacent room can pose some design and construction problems all of which were handled perfectly. His bid was consistent with other bids from quality contractors for his labor costs. We had the option of using less expensive (or more) fixtures to control costs a process which worked well for us.
Overall, we couldn't be happier about how our bathroom turned out and our experience during the construction process was very positive. Renovations is highly recommended."

"The work performed was part of a full kitchen remodel including new cabinets, countertop, electrical upgrade, plumbing upgrade and appliances in a home built in 1958. is very easy to work with. I started with my list of items that I wanted to be completed and then prioritized the list to stay within my budget. As the home owner, I was able to save money by handling the painting tasks. He has a relationship with an electrician and plumber (rated separately) and they work well together. I managed the cabinets, countertop and appliance timelines. The project took a bit longer than expected due to unforeseen circumstances - electrical and plumbing in the soffit. I plan on contacting for all my repair work."

" was very helpful getting what we needed to remodel our bathroom. The design service they provided was excellent. When we walked in the store my wife was overwhelmed with the amount selections they had. But the designer asked us a few questions in regards to what we were working and we were on our way. It took about 7 days to get our product because it was special order, but it was worth the wait. We were ready to go else where for tile for the Kitchen because price was a little higher then the other guys. But we were stopped matched the price and gave us 10% discount.
-if you need tile for your kitchen or bath these guys are great. the sales reps get paid a salary i guess, so they were not very pushy.
-if you need wood floors these guys know nothing about wood or carpet. tile they had us covered."

" -- who is an amazing craftsman -- came and discovered a bad DIY job in our shower stall. The work he had to do was painstaking -- the former owners had used tile spacers when none had been needed and this created a huge problem in the clean-out of the old, mildewy tile. was patient, explained the problem and why there would have to be an adjustment (there was no way this could have been known during the estimate). He did a superb job, he is highly skilled and very dedicated to doing a good job. The upstairs bathroom had a sealing-caulk job that was just unsightly: bumpy, uneven, and *gaping* so that water could get right down into the walls. After 's work, the seam is beautiful and clean and completely tight all around."

"The estimate process was quick and easy and 's estimate was the lowest of the 3 bids we got for our bathroom remodeling project. is a smaller company who subcontract out the plumbing and electrical work, but work closely with the subs to ensure quality work is done on time. and were responsive to our questions and even helped us pick out some great accent tiles for the shower area. The work started on time and progressed as planned throughout the project. They were very professional in all aspects of the project. We are very happy with the work that was done and felt they were a good value."

"Well, they showed up and gave us a quick and accurate quote. It was lower than our other quotes but he ( ) represented himself very well and was very knowledgeable. We hired him and he started bright and early the next day. In the first day he had everything (the old fire tape) town down and began getting it done correctly. It was still cold outside but he came prepared with a heater and fans. The last company just through it up and let it freeze.
Once the taping was done he started on the mudding. He explained to use how he was going to do it and why. Once again, he came well prepared and started early. He also fixed some trouble shots that the home manufacture left for us. After power sanding it, yes, power sanding it! He sprayed the wall with primer then paint in our custom color. No need to hire a separate painter was very nice. He covered all of my toolboxes, workbenches and all. We had over-spray on nothing!
Lastly, he textured the ceiling to finish off the garage. It looks absolutely awesome! We have used in the past for our hard wood floor install and tile back splash and he has out done himself again! Superb work ethic and affordable. What a company!! We will surely use him again very soon."

" Ficocello was excellent to work with. I emailed him a rough sketch of our kitchen countertops, including dimensions and he emailed me back an estimate, along with options for edges and an under-counter sink. Then came to our home, showed us samples, showed us the sink which was free as part of the deal and took his own measurements. I had under-measured, in a few areas and he kept his original estimate in place. On the day of the installation, and his dad showed up on time for the installation. They rolled tarps into our home to walk on, did their job quickly and efficiently, cleaned up throroughly and left us with a magnificant new countertops. They were friendly, easy to work with, very experienced and did high quality work."

"I was able to schedule the work very soon; scheduling always was quick and easy. (who did pretty much all the work) was personable and VERY punctual. Gutting the kitchen went quickly, and the other work also was done quickly and looked good. I was available at one end of the day or another and also via cell phone. We did have to make some changes to the kitchen plan to address some "surprises", and was accommodating about those. (the owner) was good about keeping in touch.
Things went well until close to the end. made some independent decisions from which it would have been costly or time consuming to retreat. For example, I thought we had discussed the length of the countertop, but cut it shorter than planned. I would have to buy another six-foot countertop to fix this. A base cabinet next to the range was caulked in with the countertop at a lower level than the rest because could not figure out how to attach the legs the other cabinets had (he also did not call IKEA, whose support number was with him, and did not call me to tell me this was an issue. I discovered it myself). One evening, I was told the cabinets were done (except for pulls), but doors on one cabinet were visibly misaligned. I was told would align the doors properly. I found that "properly" meant a uniform 1/8"-3/16" gap between the doors, unlike any of the other cabinets. also did not install the supplied drawer extenders.
By then, my confidence in 's ability to complete the project correctly was gone. I felt continued "independent decision making" was going to cost me a lot to fix, so, despite 's efforts to address the problems, I fired ."
