I have found relief from him for my knees. Also, I mentioned that I had pains in my arms and neck. He did an MRI and called me to say that I needed to see a pain management doctor because my neck had serious problems. He referred me to Dr.
who gave me an injection which immediately took away my pain.
I had been complaining to various internists, rheumatolgists, etc. who said it was just getting old (I was 63 at the time) and gave me pain medicine to help with arthritis. Thanks to Dr. Stalhle, I was referred to a anesthesist at Millennium Pain management who helped my arm and neck pains.

Dr
examined my wrist and thought he knew the issue right away but ordered an MRI, which confirmed what he thought. His office presented me with options and recommendations and he ended up doing a PRP procedure. After a two week follow-up he prescribed therapy, which really helped. I had one final visit with Dr
and his procedure worked great.

He put me back together. He is pretty big in this area. Whenever any of family has anything broken we travel all the way to Dr
Saint Louis Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
to get it fixed. My family is originally from Illinois. He is the best. I was in an accident and the original doctors told me that I would be crippled for life but Dr
Saint Louis Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
put me back together and I am anything but crippled. I was 30 years at that time and I wasn’t ready to be crippled for the rest of my life. He has worked on my hand, my wrist, my shoulder and practically every part of my body. He specializes in hips now. My dad fell in his nursing home and they had to have someone do his hip surgery fast, we knew who to call. He was in and out in 20 minutes. He is the best. He used to be a team orthopaedic physician for a professional foot ball team. He is great.

I was greeted warmly, had zero wait time. I was escorted to a room where his assistant,

, discussed my issue with me. I had x-rays taken right there in his office, which was very convenient. Then Dr.

came in, examined my x-rays and foot. He listened attentively and sent me to a physical therapist. When that wasn't successful, he sent me to Dr.

The staff is very friendly and informative. They are easy to work with. The waiting time isn't bad at all. They have it scheduled just right, so you aren't waiting more than five minutes or so, which is quite excellent for any office visit.

He was in our network and we looked him up on Angie's List and he was good. He was friendly and a good doctor, he was good to work with. It was a typical doctor's office, everyone was fine and fine to work with. I wasn't seen on time.

I had been to another orthopaedic surgeon for my knee and they kept giving me cortizone shots. They were not helping me at all. A friend and co worker recommended Dr. Sobky. From the very first he was welcomng, caring and genuinely concerned about the care of my knee. He did xrays, determined I was missing most of the cartilidge on one side of my knee. We tried injections first attempting to avoid surgery, however it was ultimately scheduled May 2009. The pre and post op care were equally as great and my knee is doing great. I have walked away over 100 lbs with my fixed knee. I am very grateful to Dr. Sobky and his awesome staff.

This surgeon operated on me with what I later learned was widely recognized by other surgeons as obsolete and inferior titanium cages for the disc spacings where he removed the natural tissue. He went against the FDA approval guidelines in two areas. When the FDA approved this cage (

-c) for use in humans (they were originally designed and manufactured for equestrian use, specifically a race horse) there were two specific guidelines that were to be observed and followed. One: Use only in single disc level application if no supporting hardware is used in conjunction with it, in other words, if they're used in more than one disc level, the surgeon must use a support plate, metal rods, etc to hold these cages in proper position while the bone fuses and grows around and through the holes of the cages. Two: Use only if the patient has deterioration or herniation, etc of only one disc level. If the patient has multiple disc level issues, do not consider use of this particular hardware. I had deterioration of several disc levels in a row, from C3 to C7. He sent me home from the hospital with no neck brace, first of all, and told me in his exact words, "you cannot hurt it; the more you do with your neck, the better you will heal". I was instructed to alternate my pain medication with ibuprofen, which I later learned is a NSaid, a classification of anti-inflammatory drug which actually inhibits the growth of bones post operatively. He falsified my records for three months while telling me everything looked great with my x-rays. I kept asking him why it was so much worse than before and I was experiencing my arms going completely numb and could not sleep any more because after 2-3 hours of laying down, I would be awaken with excruciating pain and my arms would be completely asleep. He kept telling me I just needed more time. When I later observed the x-rays from these follow-up visits, a third grader could see that my x-rays did not "look fine". The metal cages had started to collapse in the x-rays the next morning after the surgery, and show worsening collapse with each follow-up visit. When he was finally honest with me three months later, and allowed me to see my x-rays, he told me then that it would take two more operations to repair what had gone wrong. He told me that he would call me in a couple of days after he conferred with a colleague to confirm his plan moving forward. I AM STILL WAITING ON THAT PHONE CALL. Dr.
Saint Louis Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
basically abandoned me from that point forward. I have never heard from him since that day. The pain and discomfort that I experienced after that operation was much worse than what I had experienced before the operation, ultimately putting me in a position that I have not been able to work for these last four years. He convinced me that he could make me "pain free", in his own words. He stated that his success rate was in the high ninety-percentile, etc. It has taken me almost three and a half years to finally find a neurosurgeon that was willing to risk operating on me, even though every doctor I would see would warn me of the

of my condition for the risk of permanent paralysis. Every one kept saying that I had to have revision surgery, but Dr.
Saint Louis Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
made such a mess of my spine that these other surgeons didn't want the risk factors with fearing that I would either not live through the two operations, or that I would be even worse afterward, which was a big possibility, but I was left with few options, and none of them were positive ones. They did

me, at one point during the surgeries but the new surgeon said they backed off, and were able to allow me to recover and he was able to finish the operation. Due to the additional damage to the vertebral column, the new surgeon fused C3 thru T1. I have been left with some paralysis on my right side, some swallowing difficulty, and neurological/cognitive issues, but these seem to improving with time. The new doctor told me that it was much worse when he got in there than what he could tell from the MRI and films. He had to drill and saw these cages out of my vertebrae because they were so embedded and crooked. Beware of this Dr.
Saint Louis Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
. He is brilliant and
Saint Louis Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
, and in my opinion, was performing medical research for the purpose of proving the need for a "new design", without the patient's knowledge or consent. He and an inventor named
Saint Louis Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
applied for a patent on a redesign of a metal titanium spinal cage about 30 days after he finally confessed the truth to me about my case. I cannot imagine how long it actually takes to compile the statistical data necessary to justify this type of patent request with all of the illustrations, etc. that are submitted for a surgical instrumentation patent request. I would guess a couple of years, possibly. The time line is an obvious indication for me, and the fact that he did not follow up with me when I was his patient of a year and a half. No concern or conscience.

Bedside manner was off-putting. Each time I saw the doctor and his P.A. Each time I had to explain my status to each. Neither of them fully listened to me. Each visit I waited, and waited, and waited. The last apt was for 3:45. I wasn't put into an office til 4:30pm. When I complained to the staff, and asked that perhaps in the future they could let me know if the doctor was running late, they "explained" that his hours didn't start til 3pm that day (and in 45 minutes he was running over 45 minutes late!!!!!). The office staff was extremely rude to me, so rude in fact, that they were the final straw that determined I was not going back. I did compain to the facilities manager and let her know I was not returning at least 50% due to her staff. In four visits to this doctor, I probaly saw him for under 15 minutes total. It seemed as if he could not wait to get out of the room. I will not go back. I saw him at the office in Creve Coeur.

He is a young doctor and he is with a group of 17 doctors called
Saint Louis Orthopedic Surgeons Provider Name Locked
Orthopedics. They deal with children and adults and also have a group of doctors that specialize in different things. I like him and how he answered all our questions and discussed the x-rays with them. I did not like the way they managed the billing and I felt that they should have explained things to me more clearly. My son?s walking boot that malfunctioned and they were good about replacing it. They complex that he works out of is big, so I think they need more signs.
