"customer service not good--we had a problem because of a new

, we needed the countertop cut down a bit, company answered our first phone call, said they would get back to us and it is two months later and no response--we have left numerous messages and they have never called back--very disappointed with this company's customer service-I went all through the holidays (with out-of-town company) with my

in the middle of the kitchen floor. We finally fixed the problem on our own, but It's a shame their customer service is so bad, because I do like my new countertop, but I would be cautious of working with this company again.

"Very well! These guys are very oprofessional and the product is really high quality.
The projects:
1) Tile resurfaced (tub/shower surround and floors). While the product looked good and the optuions were numerous, the price was prohibitive. The cost of resurfacing is not cheaper than getting allnew tile. When I compared the cost of
Saint Louis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
to getting the existing tile torn out, resurfacing the drywall, purchasing tile and grout, and having it all installed professionally, the
Saint Louis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was still several hundred dollars higher than the cost of tile removal-prep-puchase-installation (about 10%) higher. It just was not worth the extra money to end up with something that would not look as good (or as authentic) as actual porcelain tile. Still, I was impressed witth the prioduct and their process...and there their method is likely a lot less messy.
I might have actually followed through if there was a substantial savings. So, i will just pay the money to have the tile torn out and replaced.
2) Bathtub refininsh: Wow! The tub looks amazing! In all honesty, I did not comparsion shop this with other service providers. But with an Angie's List coupon, I felt it was worth the money. The technician was very prompt, professional, courteous, and diligent. GHe explained eveything to me before he started, and as he progressed. He spent some time prepping the tub for the final acrylic coats, thoroughly cleaning and sanding. Then he filled in any chips before he re-coated. Finally, he added a non-slip surface in the same sahpe as the uniquely shaped tub. Fantastic!
I don't know how the product will wear over time, but he assured me I should get 10-15 years, with normal usage. I'm a happy customer!

"Nick was great to work with from the beginning. He was honest and courteous, and he gave us both the best timeline and estimate of the A-listed Angie's List contractors from whom we got estimates. He and his employees did quality work on budget, and they were very respectful of our home and family while they were here."

"This Summer my wife and I decided we wanted to update the tub in one of our bathrooms with tub to ceiling tile and to replace, or possibly eliminate, the shower doors. We set aside some funds for this project and primarily used Angie's list to identify contractors for bids.

and I were both very busy during this time and even though we had to leave word for each other several times it wasn't a problem because we weren't in a hurry and in the end

won the business. He advised us to consider Onyx rather than tile and that was a good recommendation and once we decided to install new shower doors he recommended a great company for that work. Rich and

, the installers, arrived right on time to do the work and completed the work as planned. Meanwhile, we had an unrelated tile/microwave SNAFU in our kitchen and

"Mr
Saint Louis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
called early that morning to say that his wife had been vomiting all night and he needed her help to get the job started. So we agreed on delaying the work til the next day so that she would have time to recover. When the Nations arrived the next day to do the work, Mr
Saint Louis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
asked in a loud accusing
Saint Louis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
if there had been more water damage since he made the estimate. I said no but he continued to insist saying a new roof didn't mean there hadn't been more damage. He said it was worse than he remembered it. He suggested that I was trying to get him to do work that was not in the contract. This dispute was not resolved.
When he said they were finished the next day, I ask about the damage in the hall ceiling and he said that it was not water damage it was due to settling and it would require a
Saint Louis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
patch to fix. He sited his 10 years experience in the business. I said it should have been fixed but he said it was not in the conract and he was right, it was not. I was very upset because the area was not ready for painting. I will attempt to attach a photo of this area.
Because this area required attention and I was pleased with the work he completed, I ask him the following day to give us another estimate on the damage in the hall and taping that needed to be done due to settling, also some water damage around a set of windows. He gave us an estimate of $525 and said he would send us a contract. This verbal agreement was arrived at when he came to clean up and retrieve his equipment. That was 11/29/13. Because we had not received the contract and because we had specified the work needed to be done while the college student was on Christmas break, I called 12/13/13 and inquired if he still was interested in the job, that we had not received a contract. By e-mail said he would like to do the work some time in late January because he was too busy to do it before then. This means then that the painting will be delayed and the job will not be finished for some time.
While Mr.
Saint Louis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
has shown he is capable of doing excellent work, I am disappointed that the work has not been completed. We have decided to secure bids to do the work from other contractors since Mr.
Saint Louis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is so much in demand.

Saint Louis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
showed up right on time. I found her to be very pleasant, professional and easy to talk to. We discussed ideas for a kitchen remodel. She was receptive to my ideas and had some very creative suggestions of her own. I felt we were both on the same page as to what could be done with my tiny kitchen. I appreciate that she did not

coat the issues that might develop with an old house remodel and that she took those potential hurdles in to consideration when mentioning a ball park figure as to the cost of what was involved.
In the end, I decided that the remodel I had in mind was really an over-improvement considering my house and neighborhood so we did not proceed with the work.
I am confident that had we decided to go ahead with the remodel, the end result would have been a really great kitchen/dining room.

"First of all, they were very responsive to my request for a quote on the job. Mr.
Saint Louis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
came to my house on a Sunday. He gave me a quote that included electrical work and plumbing work, in addition to his own crew. Mr.
Saint Louis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
frequently checked on the work in progress, even when the electrician and plumber were here, He "interpreted" what they explained to me, and made sure I understood everything that was going on, including when there were little "glitches" in the job, none of which were his fault. He was in frequent contact with me in person or on the phone.

"A kitchen remodel that was quoted as being 4 - 6 weeks took 3 months. Started out with demo, the flooring was suppose to be installed next. It took a week after demo for the floor to be installed. They scratched our new floor in several areas. And one large area feels soft when you step on it and we were told during the walk-thru that they would not fix it. This area was not soft before.

Next step should have been to repair all drywall and ceiling, but instead they started installing the cabinets and lighting and made it difficult to do these repairs. My husband and I removed all the popcorn ceiling in the 2 rooms over a weekend in a rush because we were told that work would begin on the ceiling. Someone came by a couple of hours for 2 days and "patched" a couple of areas of the ceiling. It was suppose to be a total skim coat. They eventually did the skim coat, but wasted days with small patches. The granite provider was to come over to make the template for the countertop and could not do it because the drawer next to the fridge was rubbing against the wall panel. They assumed that the wall would need to be adjusted so the template had to be rescheduled. There was also drywall damage from the demo below the windows that was not addressed prior to the template measurement. I had to repair it on a Sunday because the granite provider was coming on Monday and I didn't want to delay it again. After the tile was ordered for the backsplash I called the designer to make sure that the tile edges were available and on order also. I then received an email quoting for additional money for these. This should have been accounted for in the original quote and I told them so and was just making sure that they were doing their job. They had not been ordered and was then told that we did not owe more. If I had not spoken up they would have just taken more money. The installer of the backsplash used pieces of cardboard for the spacers and they stuck in the time glue. I bought long pull handles that were installed horizontally. They did not use a template and all are not level. They hit our new stainless steel fridge with the

when moving it in. The fridge door had to be replaced and the company owner had the nerve to tell me that it was going to cost them to replace it. We had a pantry installed. It was area that should have been completed right away so that we could begin storing food. It was one of the last things to be done and they did not even order the doors for it until the last week. Our dog got into some food that was in boxes in our dining room during the remodel and stained our carpeting just a couple of days before they finally finished it. Now we have to pay to get the carpeting cleaned. There were so many days during the 3 months that no one showed up to do any work. My husband and I got very angry and threatened to get someone else to complete the remainder of the remodel. The owner told each of us on separate occasions that someone would be there everyday until the job is done. Complete and utter

. There was not a designated project manager and every time that we would ask when something was going to be done or fixed we were told that they would look into it. Communication was so pathetic. My husband did not argue to have them fix some of their pitiful work at the end because he just wanted them out of our house and lives. Do Not use

"He arrived promptly but was in his wife's vehicle so he did not have access to all things needed to fully evaluate the job. He was very nice, but kept pushing his cabinet line. In my case, I already had the bathroom vanities so I was not interested in the catalogs.
He followed up quickly via email that the only possible way to do the work would be for a time and material--which was true for all contractors that came to the house.
I don't want to knock the guy because he did arrive promptly and trust me on this---after I explained what happened a lot of contractors were not even interested in looking at the mess I was left. The only reason I would not hire him in the future is that he really kept pushing the cabinet purchasing---

"Bill not only completely understood what we wanted to do, but he was the only one (of 5 or 6 companies that looked at the project) to actually closely examine the damaged area. He asked great questions to make sure he understood what we needed and wanted done. We decided jointly that we would purchase the materials so we got exactly what we wanted installed. Bill communicated well with us via email to make the arrangements. He, Rich, and
Saint Louis Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
were prompt, very hardworking, capable, highly professional, knowledgeable, extremely pleasant, and very polite. They made sure every detail of the job was done correctly and even made a great suggestion for a finishing touch. The tub/shower walls look fantastic, and I know it's been done correctly. They completed the job in less time than projected. Bill made sure that I was 100% satisfied with the project before he accepted payment. We are already lining them up for another project next month. We were totally pleased with every aspect of working with Bill, Rich, and
