Saint Louis Foundation Repair Specialists Reviews

"Everything went well with SRS from the beginning. Jeramie was quick to respond to my initial contact. He came and did a site review within a few days and had a proposal to me a day after the visit. Other companies took up to three weeks to visit and up to six weeks to provide a proposal. SRS prices were extremely competitive. After I had all proposals, I actually hired a foundation engineer to review the issues. The engineers suggestions matched perfectly with what SRS proposed...while all others had proposed two to three times the work and expense. I selected SRS for the work. There were a lot of weather issues just before and during the work. Jeramie and/or his team kept me informed of the schedule changes due to the weather. His guys were even here working outside when it was like 5 degrees. I was very impressed with how contained they kept the mess. Obviously, they have to dig several holes around the foundation to install the piers. They even worked inside of some existing hardscape without disturbing the hardscaping. Where they did have to disturb, they kept it to a minimum. I'm very happy with the work they performed and the professionalism of the crew. If any additional foundation problems arise for me, I will certainly contract with SRS again.

"Representative arrived and, after reviewing the situation, said 12 piers would be needed. We indicated that we might call other companies for estimates and asked that a printed estimate be sent. NEVER heard back - by phone, email, or mail. In fact, we called in a structural engineer who said only 3 piers were needed. A huge difference! Left a bad taste...

"It went well. The owner,
Saint Louis Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
, provided preliminary advice that we did not receive from the four other companies we asked for estimates, which ultimately saved $ and grief. Also took care of local permits that were required and contacted Dig Rite, per our request. The crew arrived punctually, followed a structural engineer's guidance, worked with the inspector, and cleaned up/completed the job early the following day. Due to frigid temperatures this winter, the inspector couldn't provide a final approval until several days later, and
Saint Louis Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
accommodated our need to ensure approval before sending final payment. Good communication throughout. Courteous people. Glad we went with this company instead of others whose proposals appeared to be off target and whose estimates were too high.

"The work seems to be high quality but I was a little disappointed in the clean up efforts. Also, they agreed to do a minor concrete patch job that was not specified in the original job bid (which I appreciate), but the results were sloppy.

"My wife and I are doing work on a 1906 brick home. The basement needed significant work to the foundation and the center support wall, as well as some cosmetic repair of the old parging.
Prior to the work of the
Saint Louis Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
crew, I demoed a partially finished area of the 1700+ sq ft basement. Behind these walls, there was a lot of damage to the parging, and some areas where the walls and stonework had degraded. In addition, for most of the exposed fieldstone foundation, no mortar repair had been done in many, many years. Fieldstone basements use sacrificial lime mortar to prevent damage to the stone over the years, but the mortar needs to be repaired/replaced every 30 years or so with proper lime-based mortar. The center support wall was made of brick, and was also in severe need of pointing. In addition, at some point in the past, the beautiful arched windows in the basement had been filled in with more fieldstone.

and his core crew (

This was a very big job, requiring removal of mortar several inches deep in the stone walls, and almost floor to ceiling replacement of mortar in all of the walls worked on. While underway, we decided to add a few more jobs, including removal of the stone in the window wells and installation of new windows. Although this was something that I planned on doing later,

's quote was very fair, and with all of the mess from the job it made sense to get it all done at one time.
The results were incredible. The basement was transformed from a crumbling old dingy hole to a bright, functional workspace in the span of a few days. The foundation is in great shape, done with proper materials by a very capable crew. I'd like to say that each member of the crew was personable, courteous, and conscientious.

was a blur, keeping everyone prepped and working at full efficiency, and had the unenviable task of cleaning up at the end. Despite being yanked in every direction, he always had a really positive and friendly attitude and was pleasant to talk to.

did a large amount of the fieldstone mortar work, and was very careful to prep the walls and remove all of the crumbling mortar (in some places many inches deep) despite it being slow-going. His work was high-quality, and was a large part of the great final result.

was the foreman, and kept the team working while working himself. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and made sure to clearly communicate all of their progress to me.
I am very pleased with the work, felt very comfortable with the crew, and will have them back for additional work when we do the next round on the house.

"These guys are great. They are very knowledgeable and we feel they are extremely trustworthy. We were about to begin a remodel of our basement rec room and they gave us a few suggestions regarding the framing of the rec room so if the foundation needed repairs in the future, we wouldn't have to tear down any walls. The small cracks they waterproofed were in a different section of the house and behind drywall, they answered all our questions regarding how to best ensure water wouldn't penetrate the drywall in the future. In addition, While they were repairing our basement wall, they discovered a hollow spot in our basement floor. They came back to inspect the hollow floor the following week using a camera scope and discovered it was a small space (less then a few inches) and it was nothing to be too concerned about. As far as we're concerned, these guys are the only foundation company we'll call in the future.

"Total time for repairs: 5 days.
Employee Work Ethic: Professional
Employee Values: Integrity and Dutiful

Advantages for using this Company: Caters to Military and professional work ethic.
Concerns: Concrete repair of the foundation did not set well in some areas and is cracking at hollow spots, I did let Mr. Boziki know about this issue the last day they was here because the cracks and hollow points were noticeable before the repairs were completed on the outside of the home which allowed the interior repairs of the basement to set a day or two. Mr. Boziki did say he would return after business from recent storms slowed down and repair those spots that were hollow and cracking bc of the concrete not setting. No areas have cracked due to water damage or leaking and the basement has not leaked at all along the walls.
Second Concern: The drains placed at the doors in the basement are not as wide as the door frame so water that comes under the doors goes around these drains and into the basement, I also mentioned this to Mr. Boziki.
I completely trust Mr. Boziki will hold up to his word and fix these issues as soon as time permits, I would recommend this company to any fellow military man or friend.

"The sales rep was very professional. I had other companies look at it first, but after talking to him I knew Permajack was the right choice. Another company gave me a bid for a wall that didn't even have a problem. The crew they sent fixed it, did a good job. They were on time, worked hard, and cleaned up their workspace. It took quite a while to get the work done, but well worth the wait.

"Excellent.

came out himself to bid - which was much less than multiple other quotes I had received - and was on the job the next morning. My house and porch look MUCH better than they did beforehand, very high quality craftmanship, and the workers (

"I called three foundation companies with great reviews from Angie's List including
Saint Louis Foundation Repair Specialists Provider Name Locked
. The head of the company, Jeramie, came over and looked over the situation and explained what he would recommend doing. He answered all my questions and I got a good feeling from him as a service provider. He sent me an estimate and an explanation of what would be done. Because of earlier Angie's list reviews, Jeramie's earnestness and the reasonable price, I signed a contract. Jeramie told me SRS could could be work in three weeks.
The work took 3 days and I was away for jury duty much of the time. The employees were friendly, well-dressed and very focused. I found them to be very trustworthy. They drilled piers down 36 feet to hit bedrock. Each day, they cleaned up after themselves and at the end of the job, my basement was cleaner than when they started. What was very important to me was that Jeramie was always available by phone to answer any questions I had.
