was top notch in many ways.
was very helpful in selecting a vanity
top that had wonderful visual appeal and a reasonable price. We priced vanity tops at three other
businesses and all were more expensive. He held the granite until we were ready for it.
The polishing and the sizing was excellent. When we later had a problem
with the thickness of the backsplash, he ground it down to half thickness so the
faucet would work. He did this at no cost. To quote him, “You have to make it
right.” I believe that is his approach – do it right. Weeks after the
installation, I wanted to know how to clean off some silicone caulk and called
. He was immediately responsive and told me how to do it. He met all his
timelines in constructing the vanity top. The installation team was on time and did a good job.
I recommend
. They do good work, make a quality product,
are on time, and responsive to questions or difficulties.

Manufacturer of quartz material,
Saint Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, was delayed several months. Not SFI's fault. Initial fabricated pieces did not match as well as we were expecting and SFI remade the order with new material brought in at no cost to us. They stand by their work. Job turned out very nice. I will use them again in the future.

Everyone we encountered was very friendly, courteous and on time. Sales people, installers, etc. The installation should have been done in one day but the company forgot to make our windowsill. They came back about a week later to install it. Our original quote was $390. more than what we paid because we were charged for a "cut-out" in the countertop where our new "slide-in" range would be. The original price was for the entire countertop with a U shaped cutout. Meaning we had to pay for the countertop piece that was being cut out. We questioned this after the countertop was installed and they took $390. off the price because the countertop did NOT have a U shape cut out. It was basically two separate countertop pieces and they attached a 3 inch wide piece to the back, along the wall. This was apparently the sales persons fault, but it was taken care of quickly.

We used this company based on our remodeler recommendation . Our installers were great

and
Saint Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, they were on time and very professional . There is 3 pieces for our counter and a window sill , the window sill did not fit and 1 of the counter pieces did not fit . The installers told me they needed to take the pieces back to the shop to be recut . A week later they come back and the window sill fits but the counter piece does not , they have to take it back to the shop to recut . Now this is when I think my project manager from the counter company should call me and try to make a apology or something but I ended up calling
Saint Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
the project manager to see when the piece would be ready because now my remodel is 2 weeks behind and to see if I get compensated for my tinconveiece and all I got is that they don't do anything for your inconviece and that the piece will be their wed 3-12 14 , not sorry or anything for thier mess up or anything . The 3rd time I have a counter and that is why I gave this company such a low grade

We were very disappointed by the overall workmanship of this company. We had used them 10 years ago to remodel the kitchen with no issues but this time we were disappointed by the work. We bought a new tub and they added a water jet control to the foot of the tub rather than within reach when sitting in the tub. The hole to move the control had to be removed and patched. They sent out a company to repair the tub but rushed the job and added plumbing before the surface was ready and ended up cracking the tub when they added the faucets and handles for the tub. We had to call them back out to again repair the crack. When the plumbing was added for the tub they cut away the tub supports to make room for the plumbing - they did not fix this - they covered it up with the onyx that surrounded the tub instead. They told me that the supprt for the tub was placed underneath the tub - but we could see allthe way to the other wall with no support being added. They sent out one guy to do the work when clearly carrying the tub, bathroom cabinet fixtures, etc. would take 2 people. My husband actually helped the contractor with carrying the stuff in the house. We priced the fixtures, tub, toilet and Onyx shower with another company and found that the

up was twice the cost of what we would have paid if we would have picked it out at another company - they matched some of the prices when we brought it to their attention. Their explantaion on this was that if they weren't installing it the fixtures they would have charged us less. The doorways that they put in were split and then repaired with wood putty- they weren't a very high quality product and required us to add more wood putty and then sand them ourselves to get a smooth finish. We also have plaster walls and the finish that they leftwqas just flat drywall. They suggested that we add sand to the paint to try and match our other walls as a solution. The onyx around the tub is not
level where the corners come together - their explanation was that in an older home they can't promise that this would be level. The drywall around the inside of the window was poorly done- really noticeable after we painted it.

I used
Saint Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
based on recommendations from two people who used them two years ago and had direct contact with the owners. I never saw or spoke to the owners. My experience was very much less than stellar. I went into the showroom four times to ask all the necessary questions before committing to the job and giving my 50% deposit.
Saint Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
has a list of customer requirements that you sign as well as a disclaimer for having the countertops removed that basically absolves them of any responsibility for damage. Beware of this. The installers know this and are less than careful when removing the countertops. On the day of the installation, the two workers came and had my countertops off within about a half an hour. I was called into the kitchen to be told of a couple of issues. One....they had ripped four of my backsplash tiles off of the wall when they took the countertops off. Two were still each in one piece. The other two were still attached to the grout and drywall that they ripped out with the tiles and each of those tiles were split in two pieces. Next, I was told my cabinets were not level. They gave me the name of a person who could fix the problem. I called him immediately, left a message and he returned my call. The Granite Buster installer spoke to the man and told him the issue with my cabinets.
Saint Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
left and the repairman showed up within about an hour and a half. He told me his hourly rates. It was $150 an hour!!! I was at his mercy with no countertops in my kitchen so he proceeded with the work. Two hours and $365 later, the cabinets were level. He told me the $65 was for material...some pieces of wood, shims, and caulk. A few days later, I emailed this guy back on the pretext of using him for some trim that needed to cover the raw wood he had installed. I asked his hourly rate for this work. He emailed me back that it was $45 an hour. So....I was charged 333% more than his normal rate on the day he came to level my cabinets....price gouging at it's best. I then called
Saint Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
to tell them my cabinets were ready for the granite. I was told by the salesman that there would be a $150 return charge. This is outlined on the customer requirement paper that I signed. There were about 14 things itemized that were required of the customer and if they are not done, then a return charge of up to $150 could be assessed. I complied with all but one...the cabinets not being level....because I did not know they were not level. As soon as I was made aware of the issue, I had it taken care of, yet they charged me the maximum amount. They returned the next day, a rainy one, to install my cabinets. My desk area is flanked by three sides of drywall. I had been very explicit in telling the salesman this when I was in the showroom. When the granite was installed, there was a 1/4 inch gap showing raw drywall on the sides of the desk because laminate is 1/4 inch thicker than the granite that went in...thus the gap. The salesman never told me there would be a gap. It looked terrible. I immediately put in a call to the salesman. He was with a customer and I was told he would call me back. 30 minutes later, I called
Saint Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
back because I had not heard from him. I asked to talk to the owners and was told they were not in. I again explained my problem to the lady on the phone as I had on my first call and was told the Sales Manager would call me back. One and a half hours after my first call, I finally received a return phone call from the Sales Manager. In the meantime, I had told the installers that I had made several calls and no one was returning my calls. The installer than called GB as they were getting near completing the job. It was only after that call that I received a call back and explained the situation. The Sales Manager agreed to have two side splashes made to cover the gaps.....a total of less than 1 1/2 square feet of granite. Why would I have not agreed to this small extra amount if I had been properly informed by the salesman that there would be a gap? The salesman had also told me my faucet would be fine....I described it in detail to him when I was in the showroom. The installer took one look at it and told me it would not work. So, I had an additional expense in having to go out and buy a new faucet. When the installers left after the day of the installation, my hardwood floors were an absolute mess. They take no precautions to protect anything in your home and will not cover the floors. It was a rainy day and they were repeatedly in and out of my home. So, all the grime, oil, dirt and residue built up on their shoes were constantly being rubbed and ground into my floors when they came in with their wet shoes. My side splashes were finally installed in less than five minutes last week. Would I use
Saint Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
again? Never. The fact that my cabinets were not level was not their fault, certainly. However, they arbitrarily charged me the maximum they could as a return fee. I was price gouged by the repairman. The salesman was incorrect and lapse on several frustrating issues and the policy of
Saint Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
does not require the installers to be protective of the home they are in. I expected to have to do a little touch up painting...which I did. But I never expected the added expensive as a result of having tiles ripped out of my backsplash or my floors left in such terrible condition that it took me days of cleaning them to get them back to where they were before the installation.
