They also made sure to point out to us where certain cedar trim pieces were in bad need of replacing, so that there wouldn't be any unexpected surprises after the quote. "Horrible. The job started in Oct and was to be complete in 2 weeks. It was not complete by the end of the year. Chic's crews scratched 11 of my windows with grinders so the glass had to be replaced. They also broke my stained glass and painted all of my 24 double hung windows that were are previously functional shut. Even when the windows were cut open, they were inoperable due to the amount of paint that had been slopped into the tracks. Chic failed to prepare most of the surfaces of my house properly - sanding and pressure washing as stated in the procedures on their website - and thus 80% of my house is peeling and blistering after 3 months. I have been without storm windows causing extra utility bills, Chic killed my landscaping, and oily stuff oozed out of their paint for months ruining my garage doors. When we had issues, Chic refused to take responsibility for the change orders already paid for. Corporate also refused to get involved."
