"I have a 2010 Golf with a malfunctioning tire pressure monitoring system or so
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
says. When I took it inj for service, with an appointment, no one seemed to be aware of why I was there. They furthermore could not get their compouter diagnostic or their link to VW's computer to work. I sat there for two hours with no results- they said they would call me back when "the parts" came in- its been 3 weeks now and no phone call- so I went to
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
Team and they fixed it in 10 minutes. Secondly, I bought chrome exhaust tips from
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
, and they installed them. But very well as one of them fell off within weeks after installation. I mentioned it during the visit described above becuase I expected them to make it right- but they ignored the issue. I was so mad when I left!

"Update as of Nov 9 2010: The latest debacle with
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
is with the License Plates. On the day the lease was signed we were told directly by our Salesperson,
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
Blumeyer, that the $96 dollars we were being charged for the vehicles tags would be for a 2 year registration. As per this individual's normal course of action, this statement turned out to be just another of the numerous outright
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
we were told. When the plates were shipped to us, of course they were only good for one year, instead of the two we were charged for. My wife contacted the dealership and was originally told they didn?t understand what the issue was. Later the same day, she was told, "Oh yeah....
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
always charges for 2 years, but your car is odd year model and will only get one year tags. I guess we'll have to get you a refund for the other year." Therefore, we went from "I don't know what the problem is" to "
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
always does this with odd year cars". So, if
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
always does this, how would they not have known prior to the sale and why wouldn?t they have only charged us for one year. Everyone reading this post should ask--How often has
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
pulled this scam on other customers that haven't caught it? For certain--I will be filing this note as a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well. Update as of Nov 9 2010: The 2nd key to the vehicle was never delivered as promised. We were assured it would be "Fed-Ex'd" the next day after Plaza failed to deliver it with the car. Only a letter to
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
Headquarters with notice of intent to
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
prompted Plaza to make good with a 2nd key almost two weeks after it had been due. What's even worse is after being notified by
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
Headquarters that the key was available at the dealership, my wife arrived to pick it up and was told she would have to come back after making an appointment to have the key programmed. She made the appointment and went back the next morning only to find out the process of programming her key took less than 15 min can could have easily been accomplished upon her arrival the day prior. One of the service individual's even said to her, "Wow! I'm surprised you came back." This experience is yet another example of the kind of poor and unprofessional service you can expect at
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
. Nov 1, 2010 My wife and I recently had the very unfortunate experience of buying a car at
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
. The new vehicle leased was simply to replace a previously leased model. From the beginning of the process, the sales experience was horrendous. The salesman had no idea what was being advertised online or even how to use the company's website. I was even told that the website is frequently wrong and I could only use it as a guide. Only the dealer could tell me what was really available and what the price was. Additionally, in an effort to sell my wife and me on the vehicle, our salesperson quoted us a false money factor/interest rate which turned out to be much higher than we were quoted once we were presented with the final paperwork at closing. Additionally, Mr. Blumeyer used an incorrect, lower tax rate in order to calculate the payment. When I objected to the higher money factor and higher tax rate at closing, the business manager told me that I shouldn't care as long as the payment was the same as I was quoted. (It was not--it was close but, still higher) Moreover, the dealership refused to provide me with final numbers prior to the closing of the vehicle nor would they provide me a written statement of how the lease payment was calculated, stating that the law didn't require such a statement in the lease paperwork. Despite my mistrust of the sales process, the lease was concluded mainly because my wife wanted the car. Unfortunately, the after-sale service was just as terrible.
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
has a beautiful delivery bay for new cars. However, when we showed up to get the vehicle, it was not in the delivery bay. Instead, it was in the service garage. When I asked why our new car was being delivered as what appeared to be an afterthought, I was told that the other bay was full and they needed to put it under cover somewhere. This type of poor delivery on a luxury vehicle transpired even though the dealership knew we were coming an hour prior to our arrival. The fact that I had to ask that the vehicle be delivered correctly is absolutely appalling. Once we got home and I had a
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
to begin checking all of the internal computer features of the car, I discovered that the GPS Navigation software was from 2009 and installed in a 2011 vehicle. What?s worse is that the new software has been released and available for almost 2 months according the the
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
website. When I went back to the dealership, the salesperson told me it didn't matter when I bought the vehicle; it only mattered when the vehicle was built. My response was that I didn't care when the vehicle was built,
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
owned for almost 2 months after the new software was released and the vehicle should have been updated prior to the delivery. At this point, the salesperson walked away without a word. I followed him to his office and asked if we were done. He responded by saying he?d would "check with the rep" and call me later. I scoffed at his reply as his ability to be honest was seriously in question already and he had yet to return phone calls he promised to make. At this point, and more importantly--once the sale was concluded, the salesman asked me why I was being "so nasty". I told him that I didn't trust him and that everything that he?d been telling my wife and me had been one lie after another. His response was to call me a liar in return and to have the General Manager ask me to leave. When the General Manager saw the salesperson and I arguing, he wouldn't bother to determine who was at fault and told me to get out. I told him this was the last business we would ever do. His quote to me was, "That doesn't hurt my feelings and I don't need your business". He even went so far to as to step into my personal space (approximately 3 inches from my face) as to threaten me. When I asked him if he was in fact threatening me, said, ?No sir, I?m not? with a sinister smile on his face. Regardless, I did feel threatened. And for what? Being upset, arguing with the salesman, and voicing a complaint about being lied to and potentially cheated??? (Be sure not to complain here no matter how bad you are treated. There?s no telling what would have happened to me if there were no witnesses) Both of my experiences in the last 3 years with
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
have been nothing short of horrible. I feel I would get better service and more truth from a third-party, used car dealership. For a luxury auto dealership, the service provided is pitiful from the initial visit to service after the sale. I recommend that anyone looking for a
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
avoid this dealership at all costs. My association with
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
from this day forward is no more and I will do my best find a lease trader in order to get rid of this car and into a different vehicle as soon as possible. Once my wife and I are free of the vehicle, Toyota and
Saint Louis Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
have lost 2 more customers.

Saint Louis Auto Sales Reviews

"Looking for a used car that they had advertised. Salesman aloof, took off walking toward car by himself. No attempt to engage me in conversation.Took a test drive and felt a shimmy in the front end of car; rearview mirror image revealed significant movement in front end. I mentioned this to the salesman and his response was , "Probably a low tire". Salesman made poor attempt at checking tire pressure after test drive. Salesman disappeared after asking for his business card. I learned he was at his desk waiting for me. He wanted me to sit down and talk; I declined, told him all I wanted was his card. He asked me what I'd say to his dropping the price of the car by $5,000. I walked out after telling him no, I was not buying a car that day. I have told three friends about my experience and their reaction was the same: they'd never go there again. Neither will I."

"I hate buying cars, but had a great experience with this dealership. Low pressure and helped me get what I wanted at a price I was happy with. Highly recommend."
