I needed bladder surgery and it was performed but the cancer was still present after all the procedures were followed. Once it was established that the cancer had progressed further than originally expected I was referred to another doctor who specialized in the surgery needed.

My experience with Dr.
Seattle Urologists Provider Name Locked
has gone perfectly. I was able to see him within a couple of days of initally calling him, and surgery was scheduled in about one week after my initial appointment. Dr.
Seattle Urologists Provider Name Locked
took the time to explain the surgery and showed us computer images of the type of equipment that would be used and a simulation of the small incisions required for entry of the robotic instruments. He answered all of my questions and a few that my wife had. He made us both feel totally at ease and secure in our decision to have him perform the surgery. I was only in the hospital over one night. We found the doctor to be professional, warm, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about this type of surgery. Everything about Dr.
Seattle Urologists Provider Name Locked
has been perfect. We liked him as a person and the surgery was absolutely successful. The robotic procedure was minimally invasive with rapid recovery. Dr.
Seattle Urologists Provider Name Locked
and his staff were outstanding. We would give him and his staff a rating of A+.

Dr.
Seattle Urologists Provider Name Locked
was one of three urologists I interviewed in researching treatment options for my enlarged prostate. As soon as we met he began treating me as a patient. I reminded him I was not his patient and was there simply to interview him and get his professional suggestions for treating my condition. I was surprised at how unresponsive he was to this. He immediately launched into his treatment method and insisted that I have a PSA test, which I told him I didn't want. His response: Unless I could give him some medical proof that I didn't have cancer he'd have to have those test results. He was unwilling to answer my questions because he didn't really take the time to listen to them. I found him completely overbearing and rude, having his assistant call my primary physician for records without my approval, and basically just trying to control the entire meeting. I would not recommend him if you want a doctor who will listen to you and interact with you rather than just impose his will on you. Of the three doctors I interviewed he would rate a 0 on a scale of 1 to 10 while the others would rate an 8 and a 10. In addition to this his fees for this interview appointment were about twice the fees of the other doctors I interviewed. I just found him to way out of line in several ways. By the way I rated his "availability" as an "F" because he was completely unavailable emotionally and as an open communicator. If you think I felt strongly about this guy you're right, which is not common for me.

Referred for
Seattle Urologists Provider Name Locked
issues. Dr. made quick diagnosis but failed to listen to concerns I enumerated. As a result of he effects of one very painful test I was sent home with a catheter with little instruction on use. I wound up in the emergency room three times in a week. Despite repeated calls to the Doctor's admin assistant, often more than 2x daily, he failed to call back. After a week he had an appointment
Seattle Urologists Provider Name Locked
call to schedule an appt. but the best she could offer was over a week out. My regular physiician and the ER doctors were astounded by

's behavior. By that point I had decided I needed to see somebody else. He called me a week later and told me that seeing another doctor was probably a good idea.

The story is above. I returned a week after surgery for a follow up procedure and Dr.
Seattle Urologists Provider Name Locked
shared the lab results that indicated that the cancer had all been removed and that I was cancer free. I was advised again on the follow up he expected from me in terms of rehab and returning to my normal life. I am almost back to the full, normal life, resuming almost all prior functions in just 4 weeks. I would recommend any man to Dr.
Seattle Urologists Provider Name Locked
to discuss the options associated with a prostate cancer diagnosis.

Treated me like I was some b** who wandered in off the street with the the exception of one nursing assistant who was really sweet. Was given antibiotics as a precaution and several urine samples were taken. No contact was established on what was causing the problem and when I contacted the office the only info I could get was that was that it was not an infection. Found out later from another Doctor that it WAS recorded by Doctor
Seattle Urologists Provider Name Locked
as an infection.

Dr.
Seattle Urologists Provider Name Locked
is a good urologist. It's not the most comfortable of situations, but he does his best to make it as minimally awkward as possible. He takes the time to listen to the problem and your concerns, asking many questions to get the whole picture. He explains things very well. Since the issue was a bit intermittent and vague, he evaluated all the possibilities, and schedules follow-ups to see how the treatment worked, trying other things if it wasn't successful. He's honest and straight forward in his diagnoses, and is a knowledgeable practitioner.
