"We'd wanted to clean the carpet for quite a while, but needed to wait until walls painted, etc, etc. By the time I called, the carpet was embarrassingly awful. The chair, which is at least 30 years old had never been cleaned, likewise badly needed it. The Burns expert assigned to us called the morning of our appointment to confirm. When he arrived, he walked through the house for us to point out which areas we wanted cleaned when we were sure -- and for the others we asked whether he thought it would be good to do them or not. He worked systematically, starting with the chair, then thoroughly moving from the back of the house to the front. Although it's a small house, most of it has wall-to-wall carpeting. The dining room, hall, and 1 bedroom were especially bad, but he worked at it all, using fans as appropriate. His report at the end mentioned the areas where the carpet is more worn. He gave us some carpet spotter with a sheet of how to approach a new spill depending on what it is. It's now been 4 weeks and NONE of the patches on either the carpet or the chair have reappeared. We could not be happier with the results. In the future, we will use DA Burns on a regular basis!"

My only complaint is that there were still crumbs between the non-removable seat cushions in one of the love-seats, and I had pointed out that I wanted that part of the love-seat cleaned because it's hard for me to get in there with a vacuum. "Great, he was a little early which was fine. The bid was a little different from what was quoted on the phone as the person on the phone had neglected to give a lot of detail. However, I had decided not to clean one installed carpet and therefore it was a smaller job. Not a problem for him at all. He even did a free spot removal on one of my chairs, ...more tried to keep the door closed as much as possible to avoid letting the cats out (which he asked about and I appreciated) and was quite efficient. He was also friendly to my 8-month old. He mentioned that it's cheaper to get area rugs cleaned at the shop rather than in house. He was very careful about bumping corners, water staining any other rugs or floors (lots of great little tools to make sure nothing got damaged, very conscientious. I appreciate that I was a more educated consumer regarding upholstery cleaning by the time he left. Would definitely call these guys out again."
