"I have bounced around to different doctors (chiropractors, physical therapists, doctors of osteopathy, general practitioners, and surgeons) for over 10 years. I" have struggled with low back pain this entire time, sometimes annoying and sometimes life altering. I had surgery for my back 4 years ago. At that time, my medical team told me I would be completely healed. Instead, after about a year, I began to experience severe pain again in the same place as my surgery. I was referred to Atlas Chiropractic by another chiropractor in the area and ended up being placed with Dr.
. Within the first two visits, he had shown me the source of my pain and told me I could be healed - since I had heard this story before, I was skeptical but I agreed to continue out of desperation. I was feeling drastically better within 3 appointments and a year later, I have not had severe back pain again. That amazes me as I used to struggle with it monthly. The team at Atlas is incredible. They care deeply about your healing process. This place is more than a
weekly adjustment. They work with you to determine the best supplements and therapies your body needs to heal. I have definitely been given a whole body wellness package. The staff is compassionate, personal, and sensitive to your situation. From the ladies at the front desk to the staff in the therapy center in the back room, I have not had one complaint. I wait very little time to see Dr.
(no more than 5 minutes past my appointment time but that is even rare) and I am usually in and out of there within 30 minutes. Seeing him twice a week is not a
on my schedule. He has given me my active lifestyle back. I used to be afraid of traveling long distances, sleeping in a different bed than my own, and even holding my kids, but I have not had to give anything a second thought since I began to see him and his team. I'm not afraid of severe back pain anymore. I would recommend him to anyone who thinks their pain will never end. You will be well take care of.

"While our complaints are not with Dr.
himself, my husband has decided to seek chronic pain treatment elsewhere. Dr.
" was a good listener, was sympathetic and offered suggestions for improvement both through medicine and exercise, took prompt action when he was aware of issues, and didn't subject my husband to unnecessary, expensive testing. However, a number of his staff were rude, incompetent and did not have sufficient training for the specialized services that Dr.
office provided. It was ultimately the poor staff that
my husband to seek treatment elsewhere.

Pain management

Pain management typically falls into two different categories, acute or chronic. There are basically three ways to manage chronic pain: medically, psychologically and through alternative therapy.

Hi,

This is Kyle K from Member Care. I'm happy to help!

I apologize, but that would fall under our Pain Management category which is included in the Health list. Currently, you're enrolled in our Basic membership which only includes access to our Home list.

If you'd like to upgrade your membership to the Plus or Premium plan, we'll be happy to assist you with this search. If interested, give us a call at 1.888.944.5478 and we'll take care of this adjustment. Again, I do apologize for any misunderstanding.

Hi,

This is Kyle K from Member Care. I'm happy to help!

I looked through our database to find providers to assist you, but I'm sorry to say we don't currently have options in your area.

We like to offer members at least three options for their projects, so when this happens we are happy to offer the services of our Local Research Department. They will search outside of our database to track down some options for you. Because these providers won't be rated by members, it will be difficult to determine intangibles like reliability, price, expertise and other things that can be found on member reviews. However, we want to help you find a place to start with your project. Please allow a couple of business days for them to follow up with their findings.

After receiving the first round of injections my mother was directed to keep a journal of her pain and any relief she experienced. After 1 week of having very little relief with increasing pain in another area of her back she contacted the office to request to speak with the doctor regarding this change in her pain, questioned if the injections were effective and asked if obtaining an MRI would help with the diagnosis (she was also trying to receive steroid injections for her hip and knee due to arthritis, but could not get them all at the same time and was in a great deal of pain). She was told that she would be reassessed at her next appointment. My mother asked if I could accompany her to her next appointment because she sometimes becomes overwhelmed with information, forgets to tell about her symptoms, doesn't often ask clarifying questions, and has forgotten or mixed up her follow up care instructions from doctors before. She was told this was prohibited by office policy. She was obviously upset by this. She then requested to have her records sent to other providers to obtain a second opinion. Over the course of a week and a half we left several messages that went unanswered and made multiple phone calls to the office without any action or assistance from the staff. After becoming angry and frustrated I spoke with the office manager who took the time to explain the reason behind the office policy and advised that I would be allowed to be present during a portion of my mother's appointment. She was also able to get the medical records sent for a second opinion. It was appalling that we had to go through so much and receive so much resistance from the office staff in order to fulfill two

, common requests. The day before her second appointment the office contacted her to confirm. She asked to clarify that she would be able to speak with the doctor about her concerns before making the decision to continue with the injections (she had been keeping her journal and was worried about the lack of relief and increasing pain). She was told at that time that no, she would not be able to talk with the doctor at that appointment, that it was not an assessment but for injections only. Frustrated and confused, my mother cancelled the appointment. Again I contacted the office manager to complain. The office manager later called back to clarify that my mother would have been able to talk with the doctor about her concerns. Again I was really frustrated and confused as to why the front desk staff needed the intervention of the office manager to respond to such

matters. During all of this my mother had also asked Dr.
Seattle Pain Management Doctors Provider Name Locked
to write a brief letter to document her diagnosis and treatment for back pain so that she could submit it to an airline (she had to cancel a flight due to pain and in order to avoid fees she needed this documentation). Dr.
Seattle Pain Management Doctors Provider Name Locked
refused to provide her with the letter stating that he had only seen her once and she was previously treated for the issue by her ortho. When I attempted to correct this by explaining that she had two appointments, one for assessment and one for treatment, and that she was referred to Dr.

by her ortho because he didn't treat back pain I was told "he said no." I again tried to ask for an explanation as to why a doctor would not be willing to simply provide this for a patient and again was told "he said no" and "if you have a problem with the way he runs his office you can speak with the office manager but I can tell you she is going to tell you the same thing."

When we got into the office it was easy to see that the practice is quite busy. There are thousands of patient charts lining the walls so we better understood the wait for an appointment. It was about an hour from arrival to seeing Dr.
Seattle Pain Management Doctors Provider Name Locked
. During that time office staff came into the room and took some basic information and well as vitals. We were impressed with Dr.
Seattle Pain Management Doctors Provider Name Locked
within a few minutes. No physician had ever taken a complete pain history He was interested in all pain areas. He is the first physician to do a physical assessment to determine which pain areas were worse and how each area may affect another. He is the only physician (including the surgeon) who told us that the fusion done to her back did not fuse. That alone explained a lot of the pain. He is the first physician to explain why the pain pump that my wife has had for several years wasn't helping. Dr.
Seattle Pain Management Doctors Provider Name Locked
discussed treatment options that no doctor had ever brought up to my wife. It was easy to see that he is there for the patient, not for the money as some others seem to be. Prior to this my wife had never been impressed with any other pain clinic. We feel so blessed that we stumbled onto Dt.
Seattle Pain Management Doctors Provider Name Locked
. Before we left the doctor had laid out a treatment plan. No one had ever done that. My wife and I are very impressed with the knowledge and expertise of Dr.

. If one is able to wait out the 3-4 months to get in for an appointment I recommend you do so.

These guys practice what they preach! I see

Masters or Dr.

every month or so for chiropractic care (I've had neck surgery and they are the only ones I will trust with it. They use a different technique than anyone else I've seen and can get my neck to easily adjust) and I consult with Dr
Seattle Pain Management Doctors Provider Name Locked
about general health care. I believe in good supplements but have never had such measurable results as in this particular instance. I've always had healthy low blood pressure (90's over 70's) but when I went to donate blood about 2 years ago, it was up to 145/95. It stayed up for about a year. I mentioned it to Dr
Seattle Pain Management Doctors Provider Name Locked
and he did a quick and easy muscle test, and told me it was because of my kidneys. He gave me a natural supplement to take and after maybe 6 months, my pressure is back down to my usual 90's/70's!
I've been to many chiropractors over the years, and am so happy to have found these docs. They are the best!
Dr

My initial introduction to this practice really set the
Seattle Pain Management Doctors Provider Name Locked
for the rest of the experience. The office staff are rude and obviously very unhappy. During my meeting with the physician, I was interrupted and told that it was his time to talk. I was then scheduled for an epidural steroid injection without discussion of any other options. I was scheduled for a 8:30 am procedure. When I arrived I noted that the time of the procedure on the face sheet was 10:30 am. When I asked about the discrepancy the staff outright lied to me. What I learned was that the doctor has all the patients come in at one time and then he works through them. I was there for 2+ hours waiting. I felt like it was a shooting gallery and we were just a herd of people to this doc. I found the whole experience to be extremely disrespectful and that they have obviously have forgotten that I was paying the bill. Find another doctor!!

I found him through word of mouth and was able to fit me in on the same day, He stayed open till I got off after work and was very accommodating. It was a phenomenal experience and the follow up and post treatment was fantastic. They were able to work around my schedule and h is prices are extremely fair and reasonable.

I made an appointment with Dr.
Seattle Pain Management Doctors Provider Name Locked
's PA several weeks ago. It took that long to get in. I brought in all my records, xrays and medication list. The PA was terrible. He had no compassion or sympathy at all. He gave me a quick once over and ordered an MRI and said to come back in a month and go over the results. I told him I was in excruciating, debilitating pain and at this point I have no life, and asked him what to do for pain in the meantime. He told me to take advil. Seriously? Like I hadn't thought of that??? How long did you go to school so you could tell me to take advil? Not to mention that I'd already told him I had taken tons of it and it wasn't helping. He said, " sometimes there is nothing we can do until we get the MRI". And that's the way he left me, in pain and in tears. So he didn't listen to me, didn't seem to care of have any empathy at all, wasn't at all interested in other factors that could be contributing to this, gave me no reassurance or help of any kind, and nothing to help me get out of pain.
I told the desk that I didn't want to see the PA again because he was a jerk, that I wanted to schedule with Dr.
Seattle Pain Management Doctors Provider Name Locked
. Now my appointment is 6 weeks from today and I get to try to figure out how to live and deal with the pain and still try to work and take care of my family in the meantime. Thanks a heap! When I finally do see Dr.
Seattle Pain Management Doctors Provider Name Locked
I will write another review but so far I wouldn't recommend this office at all.

gets by on personality but lacks the basic understanding and skill needed to treat anything complex. Likes to run up the tab with TPI shots and sends you in circles. Most injuries get better on their own, if you have serious problems avoid this Dr.

Never even made apt. Called and Very friendly staff told me that they would prescribe Meds as doctor decided as usual. Called primary to get referral and their office told her that they do Not prescribe pain meds at all. I am doing physical therapy and have had everything possible done to help. Need pain meds in order to walk. I have broken rods and screws in back as well as Multiple Sclerosis . I am not an addict and I am more then willing to work with the doctor to get the right Combo to ease the pain. The person on the phone evidently doesn't know what the office does or does not do. But they tried to be helpful so they would probably would be nice to people who only need procedures done. Very nice on phone and they tried to be helpful.
