He's a surgeon and he gets an A on his operative skills. I give him an A even though he was lacking in some areas,i.e. giving me not so good advice on what and how to exercise before it was decided that I needed surgical intervention, Ultimately, I had a very good result with the surgery he performed and a quick and relatively pain-free recovery. Other friends of mine had similar surgeries with different doctors and not nearly as good a result. The day of the surgery he went over the plan prior to the operation and came by to discuss the post-op result afterwards. I felt that he kept me completely informed. As my condition worsened (prior to surgery) he didn't insist I come in for an office visit, but had a phone consult (no charge) where we discussed what to do, i.e. have a repeat MRI and then go in for an office visit. I appreciated that I could phone him and fax him and get a reply in a timely manner.

My father came through the surgery MUCH better than we could have dreamed of and was able to return to Ohio in Nov. He came back in
for a followup gamma knife treatment (which also went well) and is back in Ohio again. We could not be happier with the services and care my father received. Dr. Rostomily was always willing to let us ask LOTS of questions and even repeat himself usually due to some hearing issues. I'm a RN and can be fairly critical of the system and some doctors in particular but we would recommend Dr. Rostomily and his practice to anyone.

We saw him once. He has a nice looking office and building. He is pretty cold and there was no follow-up. The medication wasn't working and when we tried to reach him the first time, he wouldn't come to the phone. The second time we called, the receptionist helped me change the dosage. He basically didn't want anything to do with us after that. He wanted us to go back. His charges are expensive.
