She is very personable and conscientious about her work. There is no odor like most nail salons, as Emarie has gone to great lengths to provide an odor free environment. She provides a wonderful pedicure along with recently adding gel nails to her menu. I love the fact that she doesn't use a drill on my nails, which does take a bit more time, but I am willing to sacrifice a little more time for the health of my nails. Give her a try, I don't think you will be sorry....

Sanitary - F Customer Interaction - F Comfort - F Cost - F I tried this
for the first time as a birthday gift with a friend. I ordered side-by-side
/pedi's for myself and a friend. It was an awful experience.

First, when I made the appointment over the phone, I was very specific that we both get our services done at the same time side-by-side. I got a call back the day of the service asking if it was ok if there was only one technician working on both of us. Of course, at this point, it was too late for me to make an appointment somewhere else, so I reluctantly accepted the change in service.

Once I got there, we were taken to a dark room downstairs that had dirt and mess on the floor. We were seated in a large and very uncomfortable couch that was awkward for the technician to do her work. To add to this, the technician insisted on talking to us about her own personal affairs and went to the point of interrupting our own conversations just to get involved. We couldn't enjoy a decent conversation together as planned while she worked on us. She even went so far as to chastise me for being a nail biter.

Further, she did not use fresh tools, but instead shared files between us and who knows how many other people before us. The technician was so busy interrupting our conversation, she couldn't keep track of her own tools, and several times WE had to point out where they were to her. To add to this, she did a terrible job. She didn't strip my nails before painting them, so the polish peeled and chipped off before 3 days had ended. Usually my manicures last about 2 to 3 weeks. She also missed in several places so there were smears on the sides of my fingers. And the nails were not even filed evenly, but instead were crooked and different lengths. At the very end of the service, she couldn't even find the special moisturizer and drying solution that was one of the features of the
-pedi itself. Oh, and the 'special herb bath' is just soapy water with
dropped in it.

The last nail in the coffin of this experience was the price. I've had better manicures, environment, and service for a quarter of the price I paid.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

This was the first time I had used their services. They avoid using products with toxic fumes. I like that their chairs were very comfortable with massage function and are in a very restful room. I really felt pampered when I went. They are very caring and gave some nice recommendations for colors.

Very quick, good conversation but not too much. The price in their services list was 28, but then on the phone I was told it would be $35 b/c it was with a more senior person....not a big deal but something to be aware of when scheduling services.

The place is very clean and quiet. The chairs are the most comfortable chairs - compared to some very high end salons in the University Village area. The staff is totally uninvolved. I actually prefer that the staff let me be and that they do not try to chat. I did come across some unprofessional, though. At one point when I mentioned how hot the paraffin wax was, the woman said "You want it or not". Then later during the appointment one of her co-workers went to lie down on the couch and the two of them started talking in a foreign language. The conversation did not last long (maybe 5 minutes), but I did feel that it was unprofessional. The pedicure did last a good 2 weeks. I am unsure whether I would go back. I probably will only because there is not that much to choose from in this area.

Efficient, good hand skills, not too much talk (my preference), able to keep her troubles and joys to herself, and able to disclose minimally to polite and familiar probes...

was able to accommodate the daughters the same few hours it took for her work, and her hospitality is exceptional offering tea and TV to the others while they wait. Oh, children are welcome too. What a pleasant experience in a usually fast paced place, the

rates are very reasonable too. A few options from express to whole service with paraffin dip and hand or foot massage. Of course my daughters are setting up for another fun experience with their next appointment.

She charges $15 for a standard fill, but I get a French fill done for $20 which I think is an excellent price. She also waxes sometimes for me at $5 an area. I'll continue using
Seattle Manicurists Provider Name Locked
for as long as she does it. I drive a long way to get to her because she's excellent!

I love going to
Seattle Manicurists Provider Name Locked
for a pedicure. The staff is friendly, they are never too busy, the water is warm and clean, the tools are sanitized, and the colors plentiful. I especially like the man who gives pedicures. He gives and amazing foot and calf massage to compliment the relaxing experience. The services are also very affordable.
