Lighting Installation Reviews in Seattle

and his team were great! They were professional from beginning to finish and we ended up with an outstanding final product. We wanted to do a major remodel to the main floor of our house. We had some ideas about what we wanted, but didn't have anything set in stone. Out of three bids,
was not the least expensive, but not the most either. We ended up going with the
bid due to the detail in the proposal and the fact that it was easy to chat with
. After the first few meetings with
, he helped suggest vendors, engineers and review the plans that we had. He was very easy to work with and his team reflected his professionalism, while at the same time being friendly, flexible and easy to work with. We had a few surprises during the project, and after the initial bid, we decided to do some additional work. One of the larger changes was to add roof wok to the project. Due to the weather, the decision and work was very time sensitive.
pulled out all the stops and more than doubled his team's size in order to pull the roof, restructure (which allowed us a raised ceiling in the kitchen and bathroom) and get a new roof on before the weather turned on us. For the inside of the house,
an his project manager,
worked with us wonderfully. This was our first large remodel, and
's contacts and suggestions were very helpful and the subcontractors were great. Also, since this was our first major project, we didn't plan as much as we could have up front.
's team was very flexible with any changes or additions that we decided to include. The attitude was one of "How can we best accomplish this to give you the house that you want?", instead of "That's more work or more time, let's just take the easy way out." Our project encompassed entirely the first floor of our house. The kitchen an bathroom were completely taken down to the bare bones, even to the point of removing several layers of old flooring and bringing three rooms' floors to the same level. We removed two long sections of wall by the kitchen and staircase, which opened up the house incredibly. We added forced air heating, which required ducting to be added to service all rooms in the house. We have plans for a future remodel and addition of a bathroom upstairs, so
helped to run plumbing upstairs along the entire length of the house, giving us many more options for the future bathroom placement. We moved several doors around, added hardwood flooring in the main living room, kitchen and staircase.
's team did a stellar job with our custom woodwork requests. We gave them a description of a built in bookcase that we wanted under the stairs and the completed bookcase couldn't have come closer to what we had in our mind's eye. They also worked with is to add a custom trapezoid shaped window in the bathroom, making the space even more unique. In addition to the kitchen/bathroom/living room changes, we also turned an mostly unfinished covered porch into a newly finished laundry room. After all was finalized, we couldn't be more happy with the final product. But honestly, the pictures will tell you more than words ever could, take a look! In the end, I wouldn't hesitate to hire
again, I just hope they have time to fit me in when the time comes!

was diligent in asking good questions to clarify our plan and offered advice that ultimately improved the plan. We also worked with a designer, Kayron Brewer of Studio kb. We as very supportive and worked well with her on any issues or questions that came up. The work he and his men did is great; electrical, plumbing, concrete, tile
, tile floor, tile wall, built-in tile shower bench, quartz counter top, bench, and window sill, painting, heated floor, vanity/sink install. He was also unusually responsive to our concerns and preferences. He recommended using an epoxy grout which doesn’t smell once it’s cured and which doesn’t require re-sealing and we look good in 5 years when we want to sell. We was very responsive and offered to pick up quartz and finish it himself so we could remain on schedule for Christmas completion. He picked up additional tile and can light, too. We found
and his installers to be real craftsman when it comes to tile work. Not only was their work meticulous and polished, but he had an “eye” for quality and aesthetics but he knew when to ask for our input In addition, we and his crew found him to be professional, polite, honest, trustworthy, and a pleasure to work with. We have teen daughters so we were a little worried about strangers in our home. But they were nothing but respectful. They vacuumed their way out of the house every night and painted the hall outside the bath. And they finished everything and cleaned up the worked area in garage and all the construction debris were taken to the bump. All in all,
exceeded our expectations and we are very excited about out new bath. We highly recommend working with
and have 2 more bathrooms for him to remodel in the next year.

was just as professional this time as he always is. He's the only electrician whom we'll use. I have had him wire two new houses, and he has worked on a few remodels I have done. He's top notch. One of
Seattle Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
's great strengths is that he always asks WHY. This is essential for economy, safety, and peace of mind. Many electricians do not ask why enough!
Seattle Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
was cheerful, fun to work with, funny, and serious about his work at the same time. He got a lot done for us in a short time and we are fully confident that his work was correctly done.
Seattle Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
is very clear in his knowledge of the electrical code - and he carries more of this knowledge with him than other electricians I have worked with in the past.
Again, he's the only electrician we'll use.

Excellent work, organized quick efficient no mess I was very impressed as I am a perfectionist. They even had a permit for the ceiling fan. It was put in the electrical box. State came by and certifed that the work was done correctly.
Some of us probably would have saved the money and put the ceiling fan not up to code and then have it fall on some later. For me that was not an option. I kind of like things done correctly. Duck tape doesn't work for me
On top of the great service due to the stress of getting this done I forgot to give the electrician the 10% discount coupon listed on this site. I called them 6 days after the service was done and they still honored the 10% coupon.

was able to get out and do the work very quickly--within a few days. He arrived with his helper on time. He was focused and efficient. The lights work. I'm happy!

staff are very knowledgeable and able to identify the best way to resolve problems or the best way to route the wiring that is needed. I believe this is the third or fourth time I have asked
Seattle Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
to work on my wiring, and each time I found them to be helpful and professional. The cost is reasonable, too. I never have any problems after they are here. I highly recommend

I initially called for a short problem I was having in my downstairs area, but also wanted estimates for replacing 6 outdoor light fixtures and a dimmer switch. They guys showed up in the appointment time frame and were super polite and knowledgeable. They got everything installed but the dimmer switch, which was not their fault, as I had purchased a faulty dimmer. They offered to reschedule the install dinner for just the installation cost. They were fast and everything looks and works great.

Several issues with
Seattle Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
. First is the cost. I analyzed their bill and once you take out the cost of materials and look at how much time they spent, it adds up to over $200 an hour. That's really expensive. Their argument is that they don't charge by hour but by task and you never know ahead of time if unforeseen problems are going to occur. Sure, that's a valid argument, but it still doesn't justify $200 per hour. A good electrician in Seattle charges about $70/hr , so
Seattle Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
charges THREE TIMES more. That's just ridiculous.
The other issue is the quality of the work. They acknowledge they are expensive but it's because they are a high quality provider. I beg to differ. They installed lights in my living rooms, THERE ARE SCREWS STICKING OUT OF MY CEILING now.
They failed the electrical inspection TWICE.
And the cherry on the cake : I had voltage instabilities and asked them to look into it, and it turned out it was the meter base and the hook up to city power. $11,000 later and a new meter and a new feeder, I STILL HAVE A TEMPORARY HOOK-UP to the city power.

It went very well. First I was able to schedule exactly when I wanted with an exact time (there was no window of waiting time).

called ahead & wound up arriving early. He was very professional, friendly & worked the whole 2 hours non-stop. He completed all the projects & gave me some insight to my house's old wiring. I gleaned a lot from his knowledge. He was neat & cleaned up everything afterwards. I'm glad I bought some of the items myself as the ones I didn't seemed a little pricey. But not having knowledge of ground wires or circuits it was worth having the contractor provide those.

Everything ran smoothly and promptly from the moment I clicked the purchase button a couple of weeks ago until I waved good-bye to

Seattle Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
about 45 minutes ago. The appointment was available on our preferred date/time. We got an appointment confirmation plus a reminder the day before. The gentleman arrived right on time, swiftly assessed the situation, consulted about placement, and got the furniture covered before bringing in their tools/materials.
I learned that I'd misunderstood one of the technical requirements in the offer BUT
Seattle Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
honored it anyway, despite it upping the difficulty and time needed to do the work. In addition, we stupidly blocked access to the attic crawl area years ago so they had to resort to "fishing poles" to do the work. As a courtesy,
Seattle Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
switched the wiring at the wall plate so the flip closest to the bathroom door actually operated the bathroom light and the one closest to the living room operated an overhead light outside the bathroom plus the new system. (Yes, it had been backwards since we moved in over 20 years ago. :)
The fixtures fit the holes perfectly. Their clean-up left the area better than it was when they started. At the end I was satisfied enough to ask about having someone come do an estimate for rewiring our whole house (a combination of 1940's knob-n-tube plus some 1970's stuff.) I did not know that
Seattle Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
was one of their estimators. We did a walk through and I am looking forward to receiving an estimate.
Two thumbs up. I am a fair but not easy grader. Each part of the
Seattle Lighting Companies Provider Name Locked
team had to do its job well to earn all the stars.
