Landscaping Reviews in Seattle

Provider advertised a full landscape evaluation and plans but only delivered what would be expected from a free estimate from any landscape service provider. They may be good at core services but definitely not effective at communicating and providing consulting services.

and his wife
were a pleasure to work with, they were able to provide a solution to our lot drainage issue and consulted on our overall landscape design.

Landscaping reviews in Seattle

I cant say enough good things about
Seattle Landscapers Provider Name Locked
. They are professional and have high standards of their own work. Our retaining wall is not only sturdy and extremely well built, it is also beautiful. They started the project on time and the crew that came out were wonderful. I could not be happier with my new landscaping and receive compliments on daily basis.i can say that we are 100% satisfied with their work and we would happily recommend their service.

We are extremely pleased with the results of our landscape project, and we have received lots of compliments from our neighbors as our new space is very attractive and very visible to passers-by. We are happy to have eliminated the drainage issues and are enjoying the benefits of a patio space and driveway. Tristen really listened to our ideas and desires and designed a comprehensive plan that addressed all of our highest priority areas within our planned budget. He and his team were very professional and very good at communicating details about schedule so we were well informed throughout the project. Tristen also checked with us along the way to make sure we were satisfied with the progress and the results. He even re-accomplished one section of the driveway to better fit our car. He is extremely easy to work with and his work was of very high quality. We were quite happy with the ease of the whole process and with the beautiful end result! Thanks

Seattle Landscapers Provider Name Locked
does beautiful work! She listens well and comes through with the correct design, plant material and accessories that will make your "outdoor room" perfect. Access to my patio is through the heart of the house;
Seattle Landscapers Provider Name Locked
was very respectful of my home and kept things very clean. She provides service AFTER the sale (bubbler fountain adjustment at no extra charge, and emailed me to remind about watering of tender young plants).
Seattle Landscapers Provider Name Locked
also directed me to websites where I was able to purchase a very nice patio heater. I also had a good experience with the landscape lighting contractor she recommended. She faithfully keeps appointments and is very pleasant to work with!

The advertisement was for "Landscape evaluation and plans". This was quite misleading. There was no evaluation or planning. It was just $75 for
Seattle Landscapers Provider Name Locked
to give an estimate. I wanted somebody to have some landscaping ideas.
I have no idea if the actual landscaping work is good or not. This review is for the AngiesList advertisement as described above. $75 for taking a look at my backyard is NOT a good deal.
On top of this our first appointment was missed by
Seattle Landscapers Provider Name Locked
. I got a call after the fact to see if we could reschedule.

have done a lot of project work for me over the last two years I love these guys and can't recommend them enough. They are the perfect company for miscellaneous yard problem-solving and projects. They aren't the absolute cheapest because that generally only comes with the non-English speaking mow and blow guys (which rarely do the more extensive work these guys can) -

is a huge step above that and therefore just a little bit more money. But I would still put them in the inexpensive category and they are still a great bargain because you will get professional, competent, friendly, and incredibly hard working young men. They can clear an overgrown slope faster than I believed was possible! Bad weather won't

them. And they are great working with you to figure out what you need done. I was really pleased with the extensive cinderblocks stairs they built going down my steep slope. They helped me figure out the solution and were great about working with me on pricing in my budget. And they built beautiful cedar planting boxes for me that were custom-made and held up beautifully. They won't claim that they are capable of doing something that they can't. Their itemized quotes are great - they don't quote you one price and add a bunch in later. They're very honest and professional. I plan on hiring them repeatedly.

did a great job for our family. Very easy to work with.
Seattle Landscapers Provider Name Locked
offered suggestions that turned out better than what we had originally had in mind and save us quite a bit of money which we spent for a flagstone pathway. He explained everything before they start, making sure we were on the same page.
Seattle Landscapers Provider Name Locked
has an amazing ability to work fast and do a great quality work. We are very happy with the final result and will definitely use

This project was essentially completed in February 2013. I waited until now to write a review because I wanted to see how responsive they would be to any issues that I would have. And given now I've been waiting months for them to take action on a request, I think I can fairly say that their responsiveness has been disappointing.
The original project went relatively well but its had own problems. The original lights installed in the project were not what I anticipated. I thought I had made it very clear to the designer that I wanted lights that were finished in bronze as part of the plan. Instead, half the lights installed were encased in a hard black plastic. I went back and forth over the designer who eventually agreed to change the lights but charged me more to get the lights I thought I was getting in the first place (he did, in an apparent sop to me, waive the labor on installing the new lights).
Months after they wrapped up the project, I noticed there were some plants in the yard that were starting to bloom in an odd way. I emailed the designer about this with a picture and he told me that the plant that I was referencing was a completely different plant than I thought. I responded by telling the designer that the wrong plants had been installed and they needed to be replaced. His initial reply was that I "must have misunderstood" the plant list but that he would look into it. After six weeks of multiple calls and emails, the plants were finally replaced.
In early spring of this year, I noticed a maple that had been planted as part of the project last year had died. I emailed the designer and he said he would look into it. After no action, I emailed him again asking if he had a

to look into it. He said someone would be out that day to take a look. After that, I heard nothing. I'm now in the third month waiting to hear back from someone at
Seattle Landscapers Provider Name Locked
. I'm not optimistic I will.
I originally chose this provider because they had good reviews on this site and the positive interactions I had with
Seattle Landscapers Provider Name Locked
, the designer on my project, when coming up with a plan. Now, after being condescended to (i.e., told i "misunderstood" what was supposed to be in the project plan when I clearly didn't) and ignored, I regret that decision. As things were wrapping up, the designer's main concern seemed to be getting paid (they wouldn't process even a relatively minor change request without getting a check first) and moving on to the next project. It's disappointing since I have other projects I would have been happy to engage
Seattle Landscapers Provider Name Locked
with had they treated this project and my concerns with more respect.

The 2 guys did an excellent job on a steep slope bordering my driveway. I had asked another company to do that initially but their work was not effective.
Seattle Landscapers Provider Name Locked
raked away the bark, pulled up the tarps, dug out the blackberries and other vines/weeds, spread and re-anchored the tarps, and raked the bark back over. This was supposed to be stage 1 of the project. I had purchased 5 cubic yards of bark to put on top of their work. Unfortunately the bark company has not bothered to deliver, but that in no way reflects on
