"My wife and I wanted to remodel a large bathroom and jettison a seldom-used soaking tub. We learned of
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
at the Seattle Home Show. Designer
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
Foreman got our attention with her cool confidence. During our first meeting she asked some very good questions that we had not even asked ourselves. Once we told her our must-haves, she never lost sight of them. Because
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is a one-stop shop, we met with their designers several times until we had design drawings we liked.
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was with us every step of the way. She is a consummate professional. Initially, my wife and I asked lots of questions and
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
patiently listened and answered them fully. She always had responses that made sense to the novice remodeler. As we got further into the design phase, we developed such a high level of comfort with
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
that we let her make a number of decisions on accessories and other details. She never steered us wrong. The lead carpenter on this project was

Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was at our home almost everyday. We can't say enough about
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
! He always responded to our questions in a timely manner. Even though we moved out of the house during the project, he always left the work site clean. He is a true craftsman -- the type of person who measure twice and cuts once. He was honest and forthright throughout the project. When we thought something needed to be done differently, he responded like true pro.

made a good hiring decision with

Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
. We should also mention the project manager,
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
. We did not see much of her after the project started. But she told us up front what her roll would be. We had no problem getting in touch with her when necessary.

"The guy came and did a drawing of our kitchen. We are interesting in moving our kitchen island. They man, who was the owner, took measurements and gave some good idea. We only wanted to do an easy remodel. It's been over a year since he visited. We're just now thinking of doing the work and will consider having him come give us a quote.

"We have signed a contract with Mr.
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
that he will do a major remodeling for our investment house. He lied to us that he is a general contractor but he is not. He was only licensed to do handyman services. The bond and insurance he provided to us were all expired. I already have my attorney demanded for the refund but he denied it. Our next step is to proceed with a lawsuit and meanwhile reporting him to the public domains so that they can stay away from this scam artist. "

Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and his team were great! They were professional from beginning to finish and we ended up with an outstanding final product. We wanted to do a major remodel to the main floor of our house. We had some ideas about what we wanted, but didn't have anything set in stone. Out of three bids,
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was not the least expensive, but not the most either. We ended up going with the
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
bid due to the detail in the proposal and the fact that it was easy to chat with
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
. After the first few meetings with
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, he helped suggest vendors, engineers and review the plans that we had. He was very easy to work with and his team reflected his professionalism, while at the same time being friendly, flexible and easy to work with. We had a few surprises during the project, and after the initial bid, we decided to do some additional work. One of the larger changes was to add roof wok to the project. Due to the weather, the decision and work was very time sensitive.
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
pulled out all the stops and more than doubled his team's size in order to pull the roof, restructure (which allowed us a raised ceiling in the kitchen and bathroom) and get a new roof on before the weather turned on us. For the inside of the house,
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
an his project manager,
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
worked with us wonderfully. This was our first large remodel, and
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's contacts and suggestions were very helpful and the subcontractors were great. Also, since this was our first major project, we didn't plan as much as we could have up front.
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's team was very flexible with any changes or additions that we decided to include. The attitude was one of "How can we best accomplish this to give you the house that you want?", instead of "That's more work or more time, let's just take the easy way out." Our project encompassed entirely the first floor of our house. The kitchen an bathroom were completely taken down to the bare bones, even to the point of removing several layers of old flooring and bringing three rooms' floors to the same level. We removed two long sections of wall by the kitchen and staircase, which opened up the house incredibly. We added forced air heating, which required ducting to be added to service all rooms in the house. We have plans for a future remodel and addition of a bathroom upstairs, so
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
helped to run plumbing upstairs along the entire length of the house, giving us many more options for the future bathroom placement. We moved several doors around, added hardwood flooring in the main living room, kitchen and staircase.
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's team did a stellar job with our custom woodwork requests. We gave them a description of a built in bookcase that we wanted under the stairs and the completed bookcase couldn't have come closer to what we had in our mind's eye. They also worked with is to add a custom trapezoid shaped window in the bathroom, making the space even more unique. In addition to the kitchen/bathroom/living room changes, we also turned an mostly unfinished covered porch into a newly finished laundry room. After all was finalized, we couldn't be more happy with the final product. But honestly, the pictures will tell you more than words ever could, take a look! In the end, I wouldn't hesitate to hire
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
again, I just hope they have time to fit me in when the time comes!

"Keystone came out to give us a bid very soon after we contacted them. After talking to them, we decided not to get any additional bids because we felt good about theirs and they had such a good rating on Angie's List. I liked that the cost for the job wouldn't change if they ran into unexpected problems, which they did. The kitchen designer we worked with (
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
) was great. He came out several times to make sure he had all of the details correct and was really good at staying in touch and answering questions as they came up, both before and during the project.
Our project lead,
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, arrived on time the first day of the project and was such a great guy! He was very professional, personable and easy to work with. He was kind to my kids and patiently answered their questions, and always had an answer to my many questions too. His work looks great thanks to his attention to detail and commitment to quality. He always straightened up before leaving for the day and made sure we had lead time for any decisions we had to make. I can't say enough about
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
- he was like part of our family for the month he was here. The tile guy (
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
?) was great too, and did a very nice job on our glass tile backsplash. I enjoyed having him around as well!
The project was initially supposed to take about three weeks but took just over four weeks due to some cabinet issues that came up and a few other small snafus, but overall the remodel progressed well and I was very happy with the timeline. It was done in plenty of time for us to prep for our big Christmas Eve celebration, which was our absolute deadline!

"We had a question about the siding on the
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
. It did not match the siding of the house.
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
came back and replaced the siding so it matched the house. I do not remember if it cost more but the finish product was great and the house sold at the asking price.

"This company was recommended to me as a good contractor for a remodel. I met with them at their office and let them know what my budget was. I continued to meet them at their office....they did not accommodate my schedule and had limited meetings with me at my home to discuss the remodel. After a number of meetings they came up with the design....over 100% higher that my budget. When I challenged them they were condescending and made several unacceptable suggestions. I paid for the design and told them that I had no intention of working with them again. I fortunately was able to find an excellent contractor who used my design and completed the project and more within my budget.

"I entered into a contract with
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
for a large addition to my house. I am a single mother of a then 2 year old with chronic allergy and sinus issues. I raised my concerns with them at the very first meeting so as to be upfront about how construction would impact us. They made many agreements to work as quickly as possible, preserve much of the home in tact until the very end, and then “break thru” into the new area, keep it safe for a toddler, etc. None of these agreements were kept. Shortly after signing the contract, the problems began. Over the past 17 months I have lived thru almost every contractor nightmare I had heard about. 2 liens have been filed on my property. One is cleared up after months of Cascade refusing to pay the subcontractor after I paid Cascade. Cascade filed their
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
on my property without notifying me as is required by law, and for more than is owed to them. They committed residential burglary by using the key they were provided to enter my residence and take without my knowledge or consent all of the construction drawings and permits. These materials are required to be on site during the construction process and are also needed for appraisals, etc. They emailed they would not return them until a payment was made. There has been a repeated practice of fraud and deception. I have many emails documenting this. I would sign a change order for a specific product (flooring, railings, etc.) and then they would delay install and then try and install a completely different product. I would complain and then they would put my entire project on hold usually for weeks, sometimes months, saying it was my fault they had to wait, until after enough emails about their fraud and deception being illegal they would install something comparable to the original change order. They routinely would present me with change orders that were for work that should have been included in the original bid or were thousands of dollars over the cost of the work. Again they would stop all work until I would agree to pay. The owner of a subcontracting company called me during one of these times to inquire about the work because they thought what Cascade was asking them to do was very unethical. I ended up not being billed because the subcontractor was unwilling to do it. Many subcontractors refused to continue working for them because of their horrible communication, failure to pay, and unethical business practices. This again slowed the process down. Cascade did not change who was on the permits for the work being completed. Cascade allowed the project to be finished and go thru final inspection knowing that all the work was not complete or up to code. They charged me for adding smoke detectors in the existing bedrooms to be compliant with code, but then never did the work. Cascade would routinely not respond to emails, phone calls or texts. They did not stick to the schedule they provided. I would inquire about a schedule or things in order to determine a health care plan to avoid needing surgery or more medications than necessary for my health, and they would refuse to respond or answer any questions. I would also inquire so I could schedule the work I was responsible for (painting, new kitchen, tile work) and they refused to answer or stick with their schedule. There were many more days when work was not being done, than when work was being done. I experienced a lot of water damage. They could have prevented it by simply scheduling the roof and siding work to be done rather than leaving the house open (without a roof) to the elements in October and November while we were living in it. Before signing the contract we discussed delaying it until late Spring to avoid any damage. They assured me it was not a problem and work could be done year round without any damage. Cascade was very unprofessional in their interactions with me. They even yelled at me on different occasions. The email strings would get very passive aggressive and hostile. Cascade still has a lock box near my front door with many keys to doors on the house, although they say they have finished all work. I have rekeyed the doors. I have repeatedly requested a complete accounting statement of all payments, credits, and change orders in order to determine a final payment. This has not been provided to me. I have also requested
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
releases, and product and warranty information on several occasions. They have failed to provide any of the above. I have repeatedly asked them for the above information in order to settle the bill, however they have failed to provide it. There is a lot of work that is in the contract that has not been completed, nor have they offered to credit me any money for the work not done. They also have not given me credit for items damaged during the process, or items of mine used by their workers and damaged, or credit for supplies I had to pay for so the subcontractors could get work done to pass inspection, etc. They did not ensure the construction drawings met my original specifications and then said it was my fault because I did not know how to read all of the construction plans and did not tell them about the things in error. They provided little, if any design help, other than the drawings done by someone they hired. I was left to make all of the decisions about everything without any input from them. When I did ask questions, they simply referred me to a different store or subcontractor to learn about the subject and make my own decisions. An example of this would be the electric/ light layout for the house. They referred me to a class at a local store and then to the electrician. During the early stages (pre-contract signing) I was told one of the owners was very good at lighting design. During many discussions before work began, my exact wishes were stated.
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
agreed to them. But during construction they presented change orders saying they could do the work, but that it would cost extra. There was very little time anyone from
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was on site. I met with all of their subcontractors to show them around the property and tell them where things were that they needed to work on. Cascade did not respond to me or subcontractors timely, often leading to even more delays. They did not ensure the work was done well or completely. I had to remind them of things that needed to be done or that were not done. Do not hire this company unless you want your project to take at least twice as long as they originally project, cost a lot more, want to deal with complete disorganization, expect very unprofessional treatment, and want to do much of the work yourself.

"I was extremely pleased with the job
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
did on my kitchen remodel. I felt that
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was honest and reliable, and I would definitely use him again! He had great communication with me, starting with our initial meeting, after which he followed up with a specific estimate of work---which by the way, he stuck to his estimate when I paid him his final payment. I felt like
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
really listened to my needs, even when I wanted to make small adjustments. He even fit in little extra jobs that I came up with along the way! He and his crew cleaned up each day as promised.
Seattle Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is very talented in so many areas, and takes pride in his work! I would definitely have him do other jobs for me.
