"They did a terrific job overall. Emrush was very easy to talk with on the phone to make arrangements; he gave me several choices of dates and times. He and his work partner arrived exactly when we had agreed. Both men were neat and professional. They moved our furniture (what a bear of a job that was!), and painted the walls and high, coved ceiling ...more of our bedroom with 2 coats of our pre-purchased Zero VOC paint. Our bedroom has French doors and transom windows, so there was a lot of detail to the work. They were meticulous and thorough, making sure that our natural Fir trim was pristine, and our ceiling fan looked like it had just been installed (just dealing with the oddly-installed ceiling fan added 45 minutes to their job). They replaced all wall plates, and were totally cleaned up and done in 4 hours. I offered them coffee, water, and lunch, but they politely refused all of it. In fact, politeness and courtesy are the words I would use to describe their interactions the whole time they were here. They only thing they didn't/couldn't do was move the furniture back because the paint wasn't dry enough when they left. We will definitely hire them again."

"This was not an easy project because the ceiling was lath and plaster, and the area that was bowed by the weight of the tub had to be cut out in such a way that the ornate plaster wasn't destroyed. Then the hole had to be filled (with plasterboard), and mudded in so that, when finished, you couldn't tell anything had been done. ...more did this in spades. It's amazing what he can do, but none of the ornate plaster was touched despite needing to cut stuff out all around it. Looking at it now you would never know this work had been done. Then he did his usual amazing job of painting the ceiling and a beautiful and subtle color change to highlight the ornate plaster.

is a multi-talented artist/craftsman. The scope of his ability to do restoration work constantly amazes me. Probably the crucial thing over the years of working with him that we appreciate most is not only the restoration, but the care with which he prepares prior to painting. This is why the work that he does, perhaps expensive, lasts so long.
