Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
has been servicing my furnace for the past 8-9 years and has always been there when there was a problem. He's very professional, knowledgeable and explains things clearly. My furnace recently broke down and I watched him as he diagnosed the problem. He was so thorough. I had to wait a week for one of the parts but his office was good at keeping me informed.
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
came right on time once it arrived. He's very trustworthy and would never try to sell you something you don't need. I know I can trust him when he says a repair is common or unusual, will last several years or when I need to replace the furnace. Thanks to today's repairs, he said I will have another couple years before I have to replace mine. His price for an annual service is very reasonable and well-worth it to avoid problems. His prices overall are very reasonable, even for repairs. When my furnace eventually
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
, he will get my business for the replacement too.

"HUGE RECOMMEND FOR THIS COMPANY!!
Based on the recommendations by other Angie's List posts, I called asking for help with a constantly running furnace. At first, I was told there were no appointments available for the day. Shortly, the scheduler called back to say they could have a technician come;
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
called almost immediately to say he was on his way. WONDERFUL! After about 45 minutes working on the furnace, which amounted to a full servicing,
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was perplexed. After two minutes with the thermostat, he figured out it was set for a gas furnace rather than for the electic furnace we have. He reprogammed the thermostat in minutes, and voila! It was all working again.
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was ready to make it a no charge service call when he had no luck finding a problem with the furnace. When he figured out the thermostat issue, it was only right to pay him for the furnace servicing he'd performed. I was happy to pay him for his work, and I look forward to being a regular customer of this GREAT COMPANY!
HUGE RECOMMEND from me!

"My electric furnace stopped working on Thursday (2/13/2014) evening. On Friday morning I called several heating companies to see if anyone could come out on Friday to determine what the problem was, though I was pretty sure it was the heating element as this happened once before when the furnace was only 3-4 months old!!!
I called
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
first as they had done an annual maintenance check on the furnace in Oct 2012 so I thought I would try them first. The fellow I talked to on the phone was so rude! And their rates were too high for off-hours. I called several other businesses and everyone else was so nice, even those who did not have any time to come to look at the furnace on Friday. I finally had
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
come out. Everyone I dealt with was professional and so helpful and caring!! I was so impressed with them.
They were punctual, courteous and thorough in their diagnosis of the problem. They called around to find the part locally and were able to come back on Saturday to replace the part.
I thought the cost was fair and more importantly I felt like they were honest in answering all the questions I had. I was very impressed with them! If I find that the furnace that I bought 3 years ago is going to continue to have problems with this part, I will talk to
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
about options for a new heating option and get rid of this furnace, a

"I felt that the person I talked to about setting up a service call was rude and condescending to me and I will not use their service ever again.

"I purchased a very old house in March 2013. The furnace is located in the crawl space and was working very well until the beginning of January. It started turning on and immediately turning off, on and off, on and off, sometimes for an hour before it would finally stay on and warm up my house.
I found
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
on Angie's List and asked them to come service my furnace. They came out a couple of days later, inspected my furnace, and actually spent quite a while trying to make it work better for me.
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
, the tech, called his boss and the two of them tried to troubleshoot my issue as best they could.
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
told me that I really needed to get a new furnace, but, I could choose to have a new control panel installed for about $600. Since I knew the furnace was about 25 years old, and is located in the crawl space, I decided to go ahead and replace it. Since I decided to get a new furnace, I was not charged for the tune-up work that
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
did.
They are very busy right now but got me on the schedule for one week later to install my new furnace. Luckily, my old furnace kept my house warm enough for me to live there for another week.
When the guys came to install the furnace, they were on time, very friendly, and seemed to really care about doing the best job they could. I have a brand new efficiency furnace now and I can't believe the difference! It's amazing how much better it works! I'm very happy with
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and will call them in the future about installing a tankless water heater for me.

"Exactly as I'd hoped! We had multiple bidders. Greenwood came out a head for reasons that included good Angie's list ratings, an estimator/bidder who knew his stuff and was able to address our specific interests with a variety of options. We opted for higher end products/features because we are committed to living here for the next 30-40 years. Paid half down by credit card. Easy to schedule the visit. He was on time.
An installation planner came next, also on time for our scheduled appointment. He did his assessment and advised it would probably take 5 and possibly 6 days. (We have only one access hatch at the back end of the house to serve the whole L shaped structure...) They were flexible in scheduling the actual installation -- my choice to do it the week of February 3rd. We started the process in Oct./November and 1) had no idea the Seahawks would
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
the Superbowl or b) that the temperatures would be soooo cold.
The job started first thing on the 3rd and we wrapped up Friday about 1pm.
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
were here all 5 days, and
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
3 of the 5. They called each morning to let me know they were on their way, and were always on-time. They were professional, very hard-working, and personable. Their "housekeeping" was amazing. For example, no sooner had they cut a hole in the flooring but they would vacuum/sweep and the area was kept clean. Everywhere they worked inside the house was cleaned/tidied up at the end of the day. We had some space available in the garage so they could unload the truck and leave things safely. They also cleaned that up before leaving.
So, did I freeze to death and stink all week due to lack of hot water? Nope! They staged the project very sensibly and, to my amazement and gratitude, there were just a few hours once or twice that the water was turned off or heat unavailable between 9 and 4pm In fact, if I had been at work each day, I would not have known there was a major project affecting heat/hot water going on. I don't know how they did it, but they did.
The removal of the old furnace/hot water heater left a rectangular hole in the floor and several holes in the ceiling. I thought the original bid included them placing temporary plywood over the holes. When I looked at the written bid it was not in there, nor did
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
/
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
have any plywood with them. The sizes weren't major and for people with the slightest bit of handiness it would have been next to nothing to handle it themselves. We're not handy. Without arguing or making a fuss,
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
fashioned and installed sheet metal over the holes.
They never seem to forget their work involves things that affect people's safety and comfort. They were also more than willing to interrupt their work to answer my questions and took as much time as I needed at the end to get comfortable with how to operate the equipment, what to watch for that signals something might not be working right, what I needed to do about filters, etc..
I signed off on the final paperwork and paid the other half on 2/7. The only thing left is a visit from a City Inspector on February 13th to give final approval to the work. The gas inspection passed with flying colors so I expect this one to be fine, too.
PS I have a request to make of all customers who have people come to do estimates or the actual work in their homes: Please make a restroom available for their use. I've now been told by so many people that my pointing out our restroom and inviting them to use it is RARE. YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! This is just common courtesy in my book. People drink liquids. People need to wee. People can't always time when they'll need a restroom. People might suddenly get a gippy tummy... Pick up the bathroom rug and take your medicines elsewhere, if you must. (I don't.)

Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his team were great! They were professional from beginning to finish and we ended up with an outstanding final product. We wanted to do a major remodel to the main floor of our house. We had some ideas about what we wanted, but didn't have anything set in stone. Out of three bids,
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was not the least expensive, but not the most either. We ended up going with the
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
bid due to the detail in the proposal and the fact that it was easy to chat with
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
. After the first few meetings with
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
, he helped suggest vendors, engineers and review the plans that we had. He was very easy to work with and his team reflected his professionalism, while at the same time being friendly, flexible and easy to work with. We had a few surprises during the project, and after the initial bid, we decided to do some additional work. One of the larger changes was to add roof wok to the project. Due to the weather, the decision and work was very time sensitive.
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
pulled out all the stops and more than doubled his team's size in order to pull the roof, restructure (which allowed us a raised ceiling in the kitchen and bathroom) and get a new roof on before the weather turned on us. For the inside of the house,
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
an his project manager,
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
worked with us wonderfully. This was our first large remodel, and
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
's contacts and suggestions were very helpful and the subcontractors were great. Also, since this was our first major project, we didn't plan as much as we could have up front.
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
's team was very flexible with any changes or additions that we decided to include. The attitude was one of "How can we best accomplish this to give you the house that you want?", instead of "That's more work or more time, let's just take the easy way out." Our project encompassed entirely the first floor of our house. The kitchen an bathroom were completely taken down to the bare bones, even to the point of removing several layers of old flooring and bringing three rooms' floors to the same level. We removed two long sections of wall by the kitchen and staircase, which opened up the house incredibly. We added forced air heating, which required ducting to be added to service all rooms in the house. We have plans for a future remodel and addition of a bathroom upstairs, so
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
helped to run plumbing upstairs along the entire length of the house, giving us many more options for the future bathroom placement. We moved several doors around, added hardwood flooring in the main living room, kitchen and staircase.
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
's team did a stellar job with our custom woodwork requests. We gave them a description of a built in bookcase that we wanted under the stairs and the completed bookcase couldn't have come closer to what we had in our mind's eye. They also worked with is to add a custom trapezoid shaped window in the bathroom, making the space even more unique. In addition to the kitchen/bathroom/living room changes, we also turned an mostly unfinished covered porch into a newly finished laundry room. After all was finalized, we couldn't be more happy with the final product. But honestly, the pictures will tell you more than words ever could, take a look! In the end, I wouldn't hesitate to hire
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
again, I just hope they have time to fit me in when the time comes!
