The technician came on time, checked the furnace over and said there were no apparent problems, and gave me some advice about filters and options. He was quick, polite, and efficient.

electronic air purifier is making a weird high-pitched scree-
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
noise, like fingers on a blackboard, whenever it's on. I called
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
. I made appointment for them to come out and see it after they told me it would cost $115 for a tune - up of my HVAC system (which I also need)...and while here, the workman would give me an estimate on repair of the purifier to let me decide whether to approve the extra cost or not. Or so I ASSUMED from the way the saleslady was talking to me. I was happy at first...they could send someone over the next day. So the workman shows up five minutes before the end of the 3 hour window. English is not his first language and it's difficult communicating with him. He can't even HEAR the noise at first. When he finally admits to hearing it, he says, "It's broken."
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
, really? "It's old. No parts. Can't fix." Replacement cost? $1300. I say, well, are you going to do the HVAC tune-up now? "That's extra. $136 plus tax." So I called his office, outraged. The girl who made the appointment refers me to her manager. He shows no sympathy and just coldly backs his workman up. They are unsympathetic and seem to relish that they have just robbed me through deceitful sales practices. The $125 is for the "diagnostic fee" to say, "It's broken." I "misunderstood" them when they told me the visit would be for HVAC tune-up.
I am extremely angry that I have a bill for $125 for a guy to show up, tell me my air purifier is broken and unfixable, and leave. They need to be much more clear on how they bill. I see on Yelp there have been similar incidents. They sell you an appointment like a Comcast customer service rep, then screw you later.

It went perfectly. Miles called to tell me what time he would be here within the appointed timeframe. He then arrived at that time.
He performed the work exactly to specifications, capped the gas line, left the space just as he said he would.
The cost was exactly as estimated. Because it was a plumber doing the work, the $50 off plumbing for Angie's List members was accepted.
He cleaned up when he was done.
I'm happy with the work, would hire

and Miles again.

did an excellent of replacing our old furnace a year ago. Some ash from the furnace had fallen into an intake thing that caused the furnace to shut down.
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
had explained that one in a thousand of this type of furnace has this issue. He showed me how to fix it and get the furnace restarted. When I first contacted them, we were actually slightly out of their area of service but came out to our home anyway. This company is an excellent and very professional business and is highly recommended.
I want to point out that the address above for

Genessee was terrific -- we originally called them to repair our old furnace, but were honest and said it would take a lot of time and money to track down a part that old and rare, and we should think about replacement. We did and got several bids -- theirs was competitive. They showed up when they said they would, did a fast, neat, thorough job, and were overall totally easy to deal with.

I'd been meaning to have the heat pump unit checked for a long time, and finally got round to doing it when I saw the 'big deal' offer for a heat pump / a/c checkup.
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was very courteous and knowledgeable and patiently answered all my questions. He inspected the system and found all was in good order. He advised that the heat pump was not ideally sized for the house (too big). I had two concerns regarding a heat issue in the basement & excess noise in the living room, and he advised a solution of adding additional registers. We'll hire this company again to do this additional work for us later this month.

We have met
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
from Evergreen for an estimate on 7/23. He told us that he will be on vacation, but will produce the bid in about a week. For the next 3 weeks we've called weekly, but the calls were ignored. Finally I got through to him on his cell phone today, 8/12. He told me that my project was "put on hold". we've wasted 3 weeks waiting for their bid, and they didn't even bother to tell us that they aren't working on it. Never again.

Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was prompt and efficient. He discussed what he was doing and why, and went into great detail about the state of our furnace and water heater. He was very good and a delight to work with. His price was reasonable. We would gladly work with him again. He also happens to be a local neighborhood business for the south end of West Seattle and that was a big plus as well.

Performed tune and and inspection of our furnace, using an Angie's List Big Deal to pay for this. Terrific service, very professional, prompt, and informative. We have used
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
several times over the years, and have always been satisfied with their work. We will definitely use them again.

We worked with
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and he was a professional from start to finish. We received several quotes for this conversion and
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was competitive but we decided to go with them because we could get a more efficient furnace (96%) than other companies were offering for a lower price. The project manager served as a single point of contact for every detail including setting up dates, arranging workers, clean up, working with the gas company, hauling away old items, teaching us how all of the equipment works and submitting rebates.
We had a complicated fireplace install and even when there were slight issues they stayed positive and ensured us they would find a solution at no cost to us. They were able to hire a specialist to cut the brick surround and kept me apprised of the progress. The fireplace is beautiful and everything works exactly as expected.
I highly recommend
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
as this is the type of project you only do once so it is great to have a company who walks you through it and provides prompt service.
