We found
(owner and installer) almost by accident, and have been extremely satisfied with the installation, service, and prices associated with a variety of heating system and air conditioning services.
is very knowledgable, competent, and pleasant. He understands our exotic heating system far better than the people who installed it initially, and gave us good advice on split-duct air conditioner systems. we've had to do trouble shooting on both systems, and would say the main problem is getting
to accept the payment he deserves for his outstanding service. Because Aareden is a small firm, we sometimes have to wait for service we wish were done sooner but, as one would be patient in waiting to see the best physician, we're more than willing to wait a few days for an opening in
's schedule.

We thought the installation went well until less than two years later, we had smoke from the furnace coming out of the side of our chimney (and our neighbor thought our house was on fire). So we got the mortar of our chimney completely redone from top to bottom and learned from the chimney repair guy that the reason smoke came out of the side of the chimney and not the top was the furnace liner was improperly installed and was about 7 feet short from the top of the chimney; so the smoke from the furnace was not exiting from the top of the chimney and over time deteriorated the chimney's brick mortar and possibly damaged the new furnace. I notified
Moon (the owner) of this issue in May 2014 and he promised to get it resolved the following Monday. I took a 1/2 day off from work to meet him and he never showed up - he didn't even bother to tell me he was going to be a no show. It's now
and I have not heard back from
despite several emails, texts and voicemails. I would love to give his team the benefit of the doubt, but after improper installation of the furnace (which he guarantees) and his non-response after more than a month, I have no choice but to write this negative review.

We were able to get the initial evaluation done within just a couple of days and the work done just a day later.
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
Case was super responsive and got the work done quick for us. It is really great to have a project go so smoothly.

I was impressed with
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
from day 1. The salesman,
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was prompt, professional, answered all of our questions and seemed to genuinely like working for
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
. The install guys were also prompt and professional. The job took 2 days and I'm pretty sure the left our basement cleaner than when they arrived. I would HIGHLY recommend
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
. I think they charged a fair price and provided spectacular service (which in my book is most times more important than price).

I was referred to
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
to help me reconfigure my furnace and gas lines in my house by a local
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
company. I called and spoke with
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
who was very cordial in helping me set up an appointment. On the appt. day when I had to re-schedule she and I worked out a way to make sure
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
wasn't stuck in traffic heading back to west Seattle the following day (how considerate of us). All was going along nicely, very impressed and looking forward to working with the family.
Unfortunately the day of the appt. I was stuck in a meeting with a customer of my own and was behind schedule. Fortunately our long-term friend and house cleaner was there to let him know that I was behind schedule and would be en route. However, when I connected with her to relay the message she informed me that not only was
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
difficult, moody and irritable, he didn't wait more than 10 minutes.
I understand how important punctuality is, however I too was helping a customer that day and could have used some reciprocal grace I had extended to my customer.
Where's the love
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
? And please be nice to people...even if they are not scheduled to give you money. It might pay forward a little.
My experience was meh, not super cool and would not hire.

When I called these guys, the quote over the phone was $1,200. But when they showed up the price kept escalating. The job ended up costing $3,200 just to replace the hot water heater. Beware of
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
. Get them to quote a firm total price before they start any work.

We received a card from Cascade
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
Oil Co. for a Summer Tune up special, $139.95 for your furnace. I made an appointment and indicated we had a hybrid system with an oil furnace and a heat pump. The
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and Heating Company technician arrived and stated that the charge would be $149.95 for the oil furnace and $149.95 for the heat pump. We agreed. He spent the next 2 hours and 36 minutes servicing these items. Total charge - $279.90 (Invoice #23439) He said that he was not able to access the inside coil of the heat pump because there was no access panel and it would cost approximately $500 additional to remove, clean and replace this. We asked what would be the impact if we didn’t have this done. He said that the airflow could be impeded. Or, we could sign a waiver stating that we refused the work. We agreed to the work at the additional charge. He spent the next 57 minutes disassembling, cleaning the coil, re-assembling with the existing sheet metal, taping the seams with metalized duct tape. He did not replace with an access panel. Total charge - $497 (Invoice # 14921) When questioned, he now stated that he had a service truck and did not have the capability of replacing with an access panel. Although, I’m not sure how important cleaning the inside coil was since later examination of the outside unit revealed fir needles and
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
in the bottom, spider webs on the components and fir needles stuck in the side screens. He spent the next 31 minutes filling out the paperwork. We signed everything off, gave him a tip and he was off. Total bill with sales tax - $850.71. My wife and I later reviewed the bill, the visit, our interactions with the technician, and the “Facts About Service Costs” pamphlet left by the technician. We filled out their response card. The question, “Were you satisfied with the value you received?” Answer-“No”. A rating of the overall experience less than 8 required an explanation. We rated it a 6 with an explanation. “Complete service performed. Flat rate for inaccessible coil cleaning of $497 seems a little high for the time and mtls. spent.” I tried to make a determination if the price charged was fair and reasonable. There were charges for two full service visits at the special rate, although the heat pump and furnace were serviced together on the same visit. I needed additional information from
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
to analyze the charges for the additional work. I believe that the summer special service price was discounted and is fair and reasonable. When I called
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
customer service person, I told him we rated the visit a 6 and answered no on the question if we satisfied with the value we received. He listened to my story.
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
does not charge time and materials, but flat rate by job and they
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
’t give out an hourly billed rate for a technician. He explained that they had to remove the plenum and the charge was to do this and reinstall the existing sheet metal. He said that when systems are originally installed sometimes the installers were not forward thinking and sealed up coils that needed to be serviced. He said that the best person to talk to would be the service manager, but he was on vacation for two weeks. He could give me his voice mail. I asked him if he would consider reducing the bill. Assuming a technician billed rate is $100 per hour and you add an extra hour for administrative costs, plus $25 for supplies, would he reduce the bill by $250? He said he would do that, the bill would now be approximately $650. Although, you have to factor in that the technician did not replace with an access panel, so the work has to be done again the next time at probably an additional cost. So that’s $247 charged now, and an additional $500+ or so charged next time to replace the access panel. Because of this, it’s not possible to state that the price charged for the additional work is fair and reasonable.

We have an older furnace but it still has some life left in it. It is a 90% well known manuf. that caused us lots of problems in the early days. It was amazinigly clean. However, upon request we did get an on the spot bid for a new heart exchange furnamce/airconditioner that we will install in the next few years.
This company is very highly rated and we would use them again and plan to.

I wanted to install Mitsubishi ductless heatpump system in my house for 2 rooms. Pretty standard install. I had
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
come over for a free estimate for 1x outdoor unit and 2x indoor units.
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
gave me a bid for ~$12,000 (...that's after $2,150 "discount") while Greenwood Heating &A/C and Evergreen Home Heating & Energy gave me a bid for ~$8,000 for the EXACT SAME products. Needless to say, I didn't go with
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
because I didn't feel like paying 50% premium for their service. On a positive note, communication with
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was very good. The guy showed up on time.

I called and asked for quote on adding AC to my current gas
heating system. I confirmed they worked on projects in Seattle, and hosted them
at my home, in Seattle where they reviewed my home (still in Seattle), and
heating system and provided me with a quote a day later. Their quote was in the
middle of the other 2 I had received and a week later I called to schedule an
install, for 2 weeks out. The day before the schedule installed,
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked

called be me to confirm the appointment for the next morning, which I did. A
few hours later (the day before the appointment),
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
called to say they
couldn’t do my job as they were not allowed to pull permits in Seattle. At that
point I called another vendor to schedule the install. The next day (the day of
my scheduled appointment),
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
called to say there might be a way for
them to do the work in a week – I stated I wasn’t interested, I had already
contacted another vendor and that I was disappointed with my experience.
Seattle HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked

said they were sorry.
