Home Inspecting reviews in Seattle

Excellent service and efficiency! Very web-friendly allowing scheduling and confirmation online. The inspection process was exceptionally efficient with two inspectors transmitting findings via radio to a recorder allowing the entire inspection to be completed in less than two hours. A thorough and detailed report was completed and e-mailed back less than a day after the inspection. The inspectors were all friendly, respectful of our home, and tidy. The inspectors provided a verbal summary of significant findings and suggestions for resolution. The inspection team arrived about 15 minutes after the appointment, which is within reason.

Very prompt, professional service. It was amazing how much the inspector from 10 years ago missed on our house!
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was extremely thorough, and provided an easy to understand/follow report. She even knew reputable contractors in our area who can address the issues she found and provided their contact info. I would definitely recommend this company's services.

We hired
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
to provide and inspection for a newly-purchased house. He was perfect. He took us around every bit of the house (inside and out, including a detached garage) and explained everything he noticed, both good and bad. He went into quite a bit of detail on the walk-through, even though everything would be in the report. He would show us problem areas, then suggested ways they should be fixed, and even ballpark costs for those fixes. And, of course, which were important to fix right away and which could wait or were merely cosmetic issues. He made sure we understood everything, and was happy to answer any questions. His assistant (whose name I forget) camped out in our kitchen during the inspection to take detailed notes on a laptop, so nothing was forgotten, and
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was free to talk to us instead of stopping to take notes. We did have a little mishap with, let's just say, a problem with rotten wood that
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
"discovered" by stepping through it. Even though it was not his fault at all (and was in fact helpful, since we wouldn't have known about it otherwise), he offered to pay for repairs. We declined, but it was a generous offer and spoke to his professionalism.
I have zero complaints with the inspection.
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was very friendly, obviously knowledgable, efficient, and he and his assistant were both personable and professional. The report, as well, was detailed and informative. I didn't shop around for prices but rather chose him based on reviews, so I can't say how his prices compare to others. However, I definitely feel the expert information we got was worth it.

Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
did an outstanding job inspecting our home prior to closing. He did such a great job that we are planning on having him do another inspection in a couple years or so, just to make sure we don't overlook any maintenance issues. The best and worst thing about
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
is how thoroughly he looks at your house. It was a little disheartening to see how many things he found wrong with our dream home. But in the end, we were able to use his report to save ourselves significant money. When we submitted his report to the sellers, they took care of everything we asked for at their expense. We credit this to
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
, as we didn’t ask them to repair everything on his report, but they would have had to disclose that (exhaustive) report to future prospective buyers. Now we can rest easy knowing that the major concerns
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
noted have been addressed and we won’t have to invest in repair work down the road. And thanks to
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
we still have a list of minor issues that we can address in the future to improve our living space.

Terrific !!! As a Realtor I have been referring
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
Cancler of
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
Home Inspections to my
clients for the past ten years, He is prompt, courtliest, thorough and professional. I have seen many other inspectors used by other realtors on sales of on listings who are arrogant, alarmists, disrespectful, ill prepared and some just downright incompetent. It is my company's policy for me to give three names of home inspectors whenever I make a sale.
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
will always be at the top of my list.

Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
arrive a little early and was ready to set up when we got
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
property. He first inspected the outside perimeter, examining the windows (old, wooden, single pane, double hung) and commented on future upgrades we might consider and maintenance we could do in the meantime. Same for the wood siding and the gutters.
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
next climbed onto the roof to inspect the roof, attic ventilation, dormers, flashing, and chimney.
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
spent a lot of time examining our electrical panel and the oil furnace. The home has knob-and-tube, so we appreciated the extra time he spent walking up through any upgrades we would need. The furnace was in a tight space, and
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
spent some extra time investigating it and showing us how to change out the filter.
The inspection proceeded through the remainder of the house.
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
checked the plumbing, ran the dishwasher through a cycle, made sure the electric range and oven functioned property. He did find an issue with a nonfuctioning toilet, but suggested that the problem may have been caused by water having been shut off for a long time and sediment collecting in the shutoff value for the toilet.
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
also went into the attic and crawlspace to examine the wiring and plumbing of the house.
Overall, I think
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
did a great job. The inspection took about 3.5 hours and felt neither rushed nor slow. We received a very detailed report the next morning describing his findings with pictures, recommended repairs and a helpful maintenance schedule.

Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
is very thorough and professional. He's super detail-oriented and also approachable. We are nervous first time homebuyers and he put us at ease while providing clear and realistic information about the home he inspected. He writes up an extremely detailed report of his inspection that clearly organized the information and helped us get a good picture of the house. Recommended.

We were considering buying the home that we have been renting and living in for the past 8 years.
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
spent 3.5 hours looking at the house, taking notes and photos. He was thorough and knowledgeable. When he was done with the inspection, he offered to show me a couple examples of problems he found and he gave me a brief verbal rundown of the more major problems. He told me that he would email me the complete report before midnight. The report came as promised, organized both by the type of problem he found and the urgency of the repair.
I'm very glad we called
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
. I would absolutely call
Seattle Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
again. He was very easy to work with and followed through with some very useful information.
