I liked that their bid was a flat rate that did not depend on man hours. arrived about 10 minutes late, but called to let me know he was on the way. ...more He got right to work and was finished in about an hour and 45 minutes. The roof looks good, and he cleaned up after himself quite well. We haven't had a heavy rain yet, so the gutters and downspouts (which were very clogged) have not been tested, but overall we are happy with the service."

I've seen with similar deals with Groupon how such a promotion can swamp and sink a small business. So we were in no rush to have them out. On the scheduled day, they ...more arrived on time and were very courteous. We imagined our house would be a snap - it's only 741 sq. feet and there are no tree leaves to deal with. Clean and flush the moss and be done. The manager offered us another on-the-spot deal - they would remove the moss from the shingles for an additional $150. We didn't have the money, so we didn't buy the upsell. asked if they had an annual cleaning package I could buy, and here they were very honest - since we have no trees by the house, we would never need to see them again once they flushed out the moss. Well, they must have been upset we didn't buy the upsell or we wouldn't be a repeat customer, because minutes later, they were long gone. On the side of the home, where one of the gutters empties onto the lawn, I saw a 2-foot line of fresh sludge, so I guessed they pressure cleaned the moss away and went about their business. I was happy. Until I realized I made: A Big Mistake: Not inspecting their work on the day of completion. I had lent my ladder to a neighbor, so I did not get up on the roof to see if the work was done. This was my mistake. Then again, if they knocked on the door to tell us they were leaving, I could have used their ladders - this was their mistake. I went up 2 weeks later only to find a third of the moss and sludge was still lining the gutters, as were all of the roofer nails and screws from when the roof was done and the Dish TV was installed months prior to the gutter cleaning. From what I can tell, they did the absolute minimum and went on their way. There is still a lot of sludge in the gutters - more than one would think would be there in two weeks from the so-called cleaning - but I am in no mood to argue with them over what was there and what wasn't when they left. Had I inspected this the day they left, I'd have more cause to demand they come back out and remedy the situation. Would I suggest anyone else to NOT hire them? No. But learn a hard lesson from me, inspect their work before they drive away."

"We called and he came out and gave us a very reasonable estimate. Our house is tall with several levels and not easily accessible. He was fast and professional, and our roofs and gutters were fine for the winter. Plan to use again and would recommend to anyone."
